I’m not sure I understand the tripwires. Are we able to avoid them and is there a check to do so? Are they the dotted lines on the map? Also, can we try to disable them?

Rocks plummet and crash just in front of Purpose Creche, and the water erupts into foam and churning muck. He hustles forward, climbing onto the rocks and ending waist-deep above the rubble.

"Hakkuho. You're hurt." He digs into his pack and produces a stoppered vial. "Here."

Walk forward, move action to grab a potion of cure light wounds. Plus taking some creative liberties with the physical space ;)

Purpose Creche's pack is swung around to his side, and he opens it to reveal five more bottles and a slowly depleting quantity of seawater. (We'll just assume I left any delicate things back on the ship!)

"Take what you need. And yes, let's be careful before we move on. But let's be quick. The grindylow setting up defenses speaks to some level of organization. Who knows what lies further in the cavern. Or what the one who fled has managed to alert or prepare."

Once the others have taken whatever potions they need, he spends a moment quickly removing his shield from its place against his chest, then stows the sword and splinter in favor of a utilitarian dagger with a grey pommel.

He refrains from commenting on Sil'tchaak's lack of remorse or raspberries.

You technically don't see the one outlined in black, as it rolled super high on stealth. The pillars block line of sight, but you sensed that they're there. If Silt and Purpose want to take one retroctive surprise round action, they may do so. The grindylows are lying in wait.

Purpose Creche closes and adjusts his pack, then descends the rock fall. He sinks step by step into the water, until he’s just a dark, indistinct, and slowly moving shape following Sil’tchaak from beneath the rippling surface.

When he notices the grindylow in the chamber, he places a hand on the iron band about his waist.
What would you think of me now, progenitor, tending to a different sort of community?
The dagger pulses and sends a weak shockwave into the surrounding water. Surprise round action, use legacy weapon on the dagger to give it a +1 enhancement bonus.

Struggling to find a clear shot at the narrow Southern end of the cavern, Toby reluctantly decides to heed Silt's advice. He swims next to the enlarged locathah, ready to fire at any grindylow that gives him a clear shot. Readied condition: If a grindylow comes within 30ft and does not have cover.

Hampered by the water and unable to retreat without giving the grindylow an opening, Purpose Creche stabs at the black creature wrapped up in Hakkuho's tail. (I think black should be adjacent to Hakkuho now that it's grappled?
