A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–5.

When the flames of revolution swept through Galt, the Society lost much of what it held there: dozens of agents, several lodges, and the fellowship of countless contacts who foreswore the Society rather than become targets themselves. Although Venture-Captain Eliza Petulengro has reestablished a foothold in the country, she needs to rebuild her network of allies. One of the most important figures resides in Rosehaven, a small village due to celebrate its yearly festival of light and forgiveness. Petulengro hopes that an entourage of Pathfinders might participate in the festivities and endear itself to the Society’s former friend. Past evils have other plans, however, and unless the PCs can keep their wits about them, they might not just lose sight of the mission; they might lose their lives.

“Reaping What We Sow” is a spooky adventure, perfect for fans of Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Horror Adventures while still suitable for more light-hearted games.

Even though I'm stunned, taking that thing out by hitting it with me would be awesome. I'm sure I wouldn't take 12 damage from the fall...

Hahaha this is one of the things where the rules are really murky. I don't think there's a definitive answer, but if you guys must, here's 2 methods:

the alley oop:
I would treat it as Gaz being an improvised weapon being thrown at a square. The square would have the standard target AC of attacking the square, but the improvised weapon would give penalties (-4) to the ranged roll. However, if the result of the attack didn't beat the target opponent's CMD, I would give them an AoO (gravity and all, you go into the square and then leave it). I have NO IDEA how I would calculate that if there were multiple enemies able to make this AoO, because I feel there's evidence to push the DC higher if multiple threats are there (see acrobatics DC scaling). The thrown character would lose their dex bonus to AC while being tossed and fall damage would apply on impact.

the fastball:
If you were to throw Gaz as a projectile instead of a situation where you throw Gaz so he can hit something in the air, I'm not certain as to what the dmg dice would even be. My best guess is a d6 (since he's in the small size category). All of the above rules would apply for this form of toss, except instead of throwing it at the target square's AC you'd be throwing it at the target enemy's AC (usually higher). I'd also have all the damage dealt from this kind of throw also hurt Gaz.

I'm not completely comfortable with this going on, but these are the 2 situations I'd allow.

People have expressed interest that this scenario be over before COTN. I think this is entirely doable if people can post at the rate they're posting, though things may carry on a bit into Friday (I can prod you at the con to post).
