Kolris is recently leveled and ready to play. Will this be low or high tier? If low, I'll definitely be your 6th if you'll have me. If high.... maybe I'll still be your sixth? You tell me.
GM Ietsuna
It will, in all likelihood, be a high tier table. APL with you in would be 3.1 or something, so that is high tier 4 player adjusted.

Is it particularly deadly, or is it reasonable for a 2nd level PC to play in at high tier?
GM Ietsuna
That I don't know. I have read the scenario while prepping it obviously, but have not played it and have not had a super amount of GM experience. I am almost a 1 star. I will take a look again and see what I think.

Alright. I'm game unless you warn me off.

Reporting in.
Glances at the above.
*Hides his Core stuff*

I have played this one in regular and GM'ed it four times now. Season 4 has a reputation for being deadly, and this one is no exception. Still fun to do though! But indeed, you have to bring a core character.
Player Name: Gerard
Character Name: Adinomo
PFS#:24861-11
Class &Levels: Rogue 3
Faction: Liberty's Edge
Day Job: Perform (Dance): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17

Sorry but can you even be an Oread now?
Given that the new season disallows it?
Urias Leogil
|
Player Name: nightdeath
Character Name: Urias Leogil
PFS#: 76925-48
Class &Levels: Barbarian 2 / Fighter 2
Faction: Dark Archives
Day Job: Lumberjack): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Botting: Urias loves Front Lining. Perhaps too much.
Get him in and swinging with his Halberd! Power Attack is the way with the ocassional rage power for aid in hitting.
Will use range weapons if enemy is too far.

I know. I have that Chronicle sheet.
I also cursed the new PFS Guide.
See Pg 8. Of course I'd like to be proven wrong. I have an Oread waiting to be released!

Had not noticed any change in the new guide. Looking at it now, the language seems similar to that in the season 7 Guide, where John Compton noted this particular case was a specific intentional exception to the previous and default 'no non-core race whatsoever' CORE rule. The section currently saying what cannot be used refers to "Promotional books and other chronicle sheets", a sentence after talking about chronicle sheets earned through play. I believe that is still meant that the ban on this effect was meant to refer to chronicle sheets applied through other means Terribly phrased, but all PFS guides have their share of that.
Ive necroed an old thread in the PFS section of the forums about this.

Player Name: Gerald
Character Name: Pau
PFS#:12445-12
Class &Levels: Monk 4
Faction: Sovereign Court
Day Job: None.

Don't you dislike PFS wording sometimes?
lol.
I'm afraid that my GM baby will now lose that Oread option and that makes me quite sad.
Magabeus
Unless there is an explicit post out there that contradicts this (which I am not aware of) I see no issue with playing a core Oread (assuming you have earned the relevant scenario chronicle in Core).

That linked post has an explicit post linked to the original blog post.
For players participating in the Core Campaign, only the Core Rulebook, Character Traits Web Enhancement, and Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play may be utilized for character creation.
At no time may any trait, feat, equipment, magic item, skill, animal companion, familiar, or any other character option come from a source beyond these three resources unless it appears on a Chronicle sheet. Race boons found on Chronicle sheets may not be used in the Core Campaign.
If an item appears on a Chronicle sheet, a PC may purchase and use it regardless of the book it comes from, with the exception of a boon that opens up a different character race.
And hence why I have to put that char in storage first.

I should have been more precise: I still have no issues with anyone playing a core Oread using this chronicle. The blog is from Jan 2015, while John's post was from Jan 2016.
Although I understand the decision to put the GM credit character in storage.

I am just waiting on Luke to check in. I may start this rolling in a few hours and they can catch up.
GM Ietsuna
Hey all. We are going to run over the end date for GD VI. I am not worried about this and will happily push on and get this knocked over as long as you all are too. I will report the game soon so that the powers that be can tie up the loose ends. Boon rolls below too.
Jarlaxle: 1d20 ⇒ 17
Adinomo: 1d20 ⇒ 18
Pau: 1d20 ⇒ 5
Tebed: 1d20 ⇒ 9
Jarsk: 1d20 ⇒ 3
Urias: 1d20 ⇒ 17
Ietsuna: 1d20 ⇒ 6
Sadly no boon winners :( Jarlaxle, Adinomo and Urias came close.

Oh well. No boons is fine.
I'm fine with running over GD6.
GM Ietsuna
Ok. I need to report this game within the next couple days. I have the details for Adinomo, Urias and Pau. Could Jarlaxle, Tebed and Jarle put their details up please?

I had a similar problem in another game a month or so ago. Apparently I was making a post identical to one I already had made previously. Slight rewording fixed it.

Apologies I thought I was waiting for Ekkies actions
bot was on the money though ;-p

All. I have a big weekend ahead. I have gym and pilates in the morning followed by my karate club break up party. That is all before lunch on Saturday. I then have to mow my grass and go out for karate club dinner in the evening. On Sunday I am having Christmas day with my family since some are working on the actual day. Anyway I will try to get chronicles up tonight, but may not. Do not despair. I will get them up Monday if all else fails.

Chronicle received.
Thanks for running the game.
GM Ietsuna
Ok, so looks like everyone has their chronicles. Thanks again for playing. I hope to see you all around again.
