Ember, Chronicler of the Planes |
I didn't see Ember on the map before, but think I missed her.
Realizing she can make it into a room with a crystal, Ember darts forward and begins reciting a rousing story of overcoming great odds as she moves through the tower.

You recognize that destroying the crystals will reduce the power of the lightning it won't stop it. For that you need to damage the central cyclone
It should take damage from spells with the chaotic, earth, evil, fire,
lawful, or water descriptors (1d6 points of damage per spell level), as well as from the physical attacks of Ayrzul’s faithful (such as Krakos).
The Volcano, Rhyol |
Despite her heavy armored plates dissipating most of the energy, Rhyol shrieks in pain. Fueled by her rage, she thunders across the room to the next crystal and attempts to drive her mighty head spike through it again.

Ember attempts to disable a crystal but fails to do so. Rhyol is right behind her, she does not waste time with trying to be subtle, the crystal is smashed into uncountable tiny pieces in the blink of an eye. Krakos takes a moment to look into one of the chambers. Beside the humming crystal the otherwise unadorned room contains rows of silver pipes that emerge from the ground. Some of the pipes are capped with silver lids. Similar lids rest on the floor near the open pipes.

When you have removed the water from your eyes the swirling vortex is gone, Where the tower's roof once existed a palpitating 10-foot-diameter ring of hundreds of colors shimmers. You recognize that the glowing ring is a portal...
Krakos: stun is gone
The Volcano, Rhyol |
Like a teapot taken off the heat, Rhyol quickly begins to calm down. Her extra layers of magma harden and slough off until they wither into dust.
Very tired, she lazy moves to Octaris. "Where does it go?" she asks, barely raising her head from the floor.

You have no idea where the portal might lead, but it is obvious that the connection to whatever is behind the portal causes the instability in the plane of air.
Really, you won't find out until you step through. With subjective gravity it is not much of an issue to step through a portal on the ceiling
The Volcano, Rhyol |
With Krakos' assessment, Rhyol has all the reason she needs to leap right in!

Krakos uses his scroll of cure serious wounds upon himself before continuing 'up'.

GMG |
I assume the others heal up using Ember's wand, after that the wand is exhausted
You enter through the portal. The color-streaked blackness expands to fill the entire sky. Above, a ring of electricity hovers in midair. Brightly colored formations shaped like cracks running through stone pepper the sky around it. Below, a forty-foot-wide stone platform bears a runic circle. Smaller pieces of stone are connected to this platform with sturdy iron chains. Everyone but Octaris and Zephyr feel that this plane does not match with their core being aka alignment
Jamila gains a +5 circumstance bonus on this skill check because of the extensive time she has spent on Golarion.
In this small demiplane several creatures fly, four beings you recognize as elemental wysps, one for each element and a serpentine creature that has tentacles tipped with snapping jaws emerging from it's back, complementing the vicious maw in its reptilian face.
Elemental wysps strengthen the power of their element, granting a +2 competence bonu on attack and damage rolls

You can attempt to snap a wysp out of their unnatural state as a standard action, either by using your knowledge of the magical energies surrounding you or by persuading them away from the chaotic creature’s influence.
You can ask one question, plus another one for each 5 points with which you beat the DC
Upon entering the demiplane Ember feels chaos take hold of her. It takes all her willpower to stay sane, which is very tiring fatigue. The large creature charges forward and bites Rhyol. It quickly let's go of the thoqua as Rhyol's natural heat burns it's mouth.

Rhyol's wild slam just misses the naunet.
Amorphous Anatomy (Ex) A protean’s vital organs shift and change shape and position constantly. This grants it a 50% chance to ignore additional damage caused by critical hits and sneak attacks, and grants it immunity to polymorph effects (unless the protean is a willing target). A protean automatically recovers from physical blindness or deafness after 1 round by growing new sensory organs to replace those that were compromised.
