Drokk recognizes these creatures as Xenarth's (Ichor Shark), a variant of a Bulette. A slimy red ichor coats the xenarth’s armored plates. Any weapon that touches a xenarth takes acid damage from the corrosive demon essence, and the weapon’s hardness does not reduce this damage like it normally would. They are resistant to acid, cold, fire and most spells. Need SR rolls for spells. As for physical weapons the Xenarth is resistant to all forms of weapons unless they are crafted from cold iron and have the good property.

I'm assuming that maintaining a 10' flying height will put me within a flying 5' step of a Xenarth on the ground, given that they are Huge. If it wouldn't then I will reduce height to 5' this round. Ideally I'd like to be able to melee the Xenarths whilst staying out of the morlocks' reach.

Confusion is a medium range spell; there was an origin point available that would have caught the two xenarths plus either cyan or yellow morlock in a 15’ radius burst. I don’t think you need to cover the whole of a large creature in a burst AoE for it to be affected.
