Wisdom check for common sense: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (9) - 2 = 7 That's a no
"Seeing as your father said he caught them just the other day the answer to that is no, she did not work here ever to my knowledge... and I've a lot of knowledge." Zeldana said as she crossed her arms. After a moment she said "Wait a moment, you're pissed at the woman but not at all at Benny?" That confused her. "I mean don't get me wrong you have the right to be angry, but you should be angry at them both no? I mean Benny didn't say no and from what I could figure out he is the one who started it with her." Zeldana explained. "I mean what happens between you and those here with your knowledge and blessing is your business and I don't judge, but are you really not angry at Benny at all? Seriously?"
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27

Zeldana Dardlara Amaria |

Zeldana sighed and shook her head. "I cannot give you information." She answered as she took out her cards and began to shuffle them. "As part of the agreement to tell me all she knew I promised to keep her secret." She explained as she drew a card looked at it before shuffling it back in. "I am many things Katrine, but a liar I am not."
"That said, you could go ask Benny for her name." Zeldana pointed out. "I am fairly sure he knows it. Though I will also point out, or really ask, what would it accomplish? She is no longer involved with him, I made sure of that, and it won't get you and Benny back together... so what is the point?" Zeldana asked. "Is it because you feel wronged? Or is this just blatant anger? To try a feel a bit better?" She questioned. "I'm just curious mostly. Also worried for you. We may not be friends Katrine, or really even much of anything, but that doesn't mean I don't want to try and help you. If you go flying off in anger you could do something you'll regret later. Why don't we go talk to your sister? She would be more than happy to help you, you know."

"I've never fought boar before. Tougher than i thought."
He panted out still trying to do his best to cover Loxeley and Yeda while stabbing at the boar with his spear while Dewdrop continued to lower his head and attack the creature attacking his elven friend.

Yeda Wolfspirit |

Yeda looks down at her remaining wounds and thinks better of rushing right back into the tusks.
Corrin, you have any more of that healing left in you?
Total defense, +4 AC

He blinked at her rapidly stepping away from the boar while dropping his spear. he focused on nature and its renewing properties and reached out his hand aglow with green energy.

"There....all better."
He gave Yeda a smile then collapsed the blood leaking from his hand that covered his side when he had just been gored moments before.
With a horrifying sound Dewdrop renewed his efforts to kill boars.

Yeda Wolfspirit |

Doh! Looking at your status line, I didn't realize this! Feel free to ret-con and heal yourself first!

Yeda Wolfspirit |

Well, with that, let's ret-con that total defense instead...
As Corrins healing closes up many of her wounds, Yeda smirks.
Hang in there little buddy. We'll get you patched up in a moment. One thing first..
She rushes at the boar, greatsword held high over her head.

[ooc]I just notice my post did not go through, which upsets me greatly because my roll was really good!
"I've already assured that." Zeldana told her as she placed a hand on Katrine's shoulder. You're not eating your pride Katrine, you're admitting that you where wrong and that is okay." She tried to reassure her. "Your family loves you, and are just worried... but your father doesn't seem to know how to show that. Just be honest and he'll understand, and if he doesn't... Well I'll be there for you and so will your sister." Zeldana said with a smile.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18

Loxley Geralt |

You’re welcome and be careful. Loxley called after Yeda as she pulled Corrin out of the way. I can only do that again once more today.
She’s the only one of us that has a hope of taking that thing down. Loxley apologizes to Corrin, not even sure if he can hear her. I need to wait and see if she’ll need if first. But I’ll do what I can. She adds as she tears a stip from her shirt for a make-shift bandage to stop the bleeding.

Yeda Wolfspirit |

Yeda's eyes brighten up as she sees a familiar face appear.
Shalelu! Good to see you. Funny that your patrol route took you near our hunting outing.
She looks a little embarrassed about her go with the boar.
Yeah... you'd think after patrolling for goblins this would be nothing. This one had quite a bit of spirit in it, I think.
Gesturing in Corrin's direction, she answers, Yes, that would be very helpful if you don't mind lending a hand there.

DM Greaek |

She grins "Admittedly I've been following you since you left town, I had some information on the goblins for Sherrif Hemlock and I saw y'all and the nobleman over there." and she yanks a thumb at Aldern who is fighting another boar with a war razor, he seems to have it quite in hand. "And thought It'd be funny to see the four of you hunt."
She then pulls some berries out of a pouch and pops them in Corrin's mouth, who comes to consciousness seeing Shalelu standing over him.

Yeda Wolfspirit |

Yeda cocks her head to the side with a look of curiosity.
Oh? What's the word from the Sheriff.

DM Greaek |

Corrin Whisperwind |

His eyes fluttered open after the magic in the berries took effect and for a moment he stared up in confusion. They had been hunting boars. He was the only elf. He remembered standing over Yeda trying to protect her from the boar, then pain.. darkness.
"Cad é an saol atá agam?
He was interupted from his confusion by Dewdrop rushing over to nuzzle him back to his feet. He chuckled and patted his friend along the neck slowly rising to his feet and surveying the scene.
"Everyone good?"
He asked touching the side when the boar had gored him curiously.

Yeda Wolfspirit |

Yeda nods in agreement at Shalelu and begins to strap one of the boars to the nobleman's horse.

Loxley Geralt |

Lovely let out a sigh of relief as the berries brought Corrin back around to consciousness.
”I’m afraid we all must have done quite poorly in our previous lives if this is our final resting place.”
She chuckles as stands up and dusts herself off.
”I am happy we all made it through this harrowing encounter. I know I will personally never underestimate wild boars in the foreseeable future.”
”And thank you miss, Shalelu was it?.”
She smiles and offers her hand to the elven woman that came to their aid.
”My name is Loxley, Loxley Geralt.”

DM Greaek |

You guys can pack up the boars and Aldern finished his boar, if you guys are OK with it we can just hop to the tavern, have the party together for some exposition.
You ready to head back to the tavern?

Yeda Wolfspirit |

Ready to return to the tavern.

Yeda Wolfspirit |

On the way back from hunting Yeda loudly exclaims about their hunting encounters.
That boar had spirit! I think it was there to test our hearts. What I learned from this is that we make a great team. I might've been in trouble without some of you there today!
She walks along, holding her greatsword at the back of her neck with her arms drapped over the length of it lazily. She directs this conversation mostly to Corrin and Loxley, letting Aldern manage his horse.
When they get close to town...
Good hunting Aldern! Thanks for inviting us to venture out with you! Enjoy the boars, we need to meet up with some other friends now.
With that they unceremoniously part ways and head straight to the tavern.
----------
The tavern door swings open and the large Shoanti woman stomps in. She squints while scanning the room, her eyes slowly catching up to the transition from daylight outside to the dim of the tavern. Seeing Tamm, she leads the hunting group over to his table.
Hi Tamm! We just returned from our little hunting trip. What've you been up to?

Yeda Wolfspirit |

"A little local politics, a little drinking." Tamm answers.
"Not much happening around town."
Yeda chuckles. That's good to hear. Part of me expected to hear about more goblin trouble. What is the saying about things coming in threes? There was the attack at the festival, that nasty business at the grave, and so far nothing else.
"How were the pigs?"
Well, by "spirited" I mean one tried to take me out and was almost successful if not for Corrin and Loxley watching over me. Otherwise I got some necessary fighting for the day. We mostly ignored the noble who had his own boar to contend with. I'm satisfied.
She looks over to the other two to see what they might add to her terse recounting.

Zeldana Dardlara Amaria |

Zeldana made her way back to the tavern, looking a little drained. Seeing the others she gave a small wave but a smile still set upon her face. "Mission accomplished." Zeldana said as she joined them all. "And no one is going to blow up any more... although I think Benny will be very happy..."

Corrin Whisperwind |

profession trapper?: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
For field dressing the boars. I also have Survival at +7 use whichever is more appropriate.
He quietly began to field dress the boars a slight blush on his pale cheeks. He had met the somewhat fanous Shalelu and she was everything he had thought she would be. Once down dressing the boars he quietly traveled along as they traveled back to the town. At one point he did speak up mostly to Yeda.
"Those boars were tougher than I thought they would be. Thick skin though, I bet their hides would make good armor. We should skin them back in town. I've some talent in that if you would like."
[Ooc] IN the Tavern with Sazzat Tamm
One almost gutted Yeda, then myself. It was quite the ordeal."
He answered with a strange smile considering.

Loxley Geralt |

”I just wish I could have been more helpful. My father would have had my own hide for that poor show of marksmanship.”
She admits to Yeda.
”Well now, aren’t you a man of many talents.”
Loxley chuckles at Corrin as the group rides back.
Back at town.
” ‘Spirited’ certainly is one way to describe them.”
Loxley smirks as she enters the tavern on Corrin’s heels.
”If by ‘spirited’ you really meant ‘possessed by a murderous demon’. Though, if the alternative was ‘local politics’ I think I’d rather chance the boars again.”
She chuckles, patting Corrin’s shoulder as she passes him.
”Seriously though, Corrin and Dewdrop both proved their mettle today along side Yeda. I’m afraid I wasn’t but so helpful.”
She adds a little sheepishly.
”Really we also owe Miss Shalelu a round of gratitude, and a round of drinks, for her aid.”
Smiling and waving at Ameiko she approaches the table, picking an empty chair as she does so. Loxley tries to catch Bethana’s attention and request some drinks for those without ones.

Sazzat Tamm |

"That doesn't look like any ham I ever picked up from the butcher." Tamm says.
"Is there a butcher nearby we could find to help turn this into a finished product?"

Yeda Wolfspirit |

Yeda laughs heartily at their discussion of the boars.
What, you want to feed the whole tavern? That's their job.
She tries to hide a bit of anxiety.
When is the sheriff getting here with his info...?

Corrin Whisperwind |

"Well what else would we do with it friend Yeda? I could salt and cure it I suppose, but i would have to build something to protect the meat while it cures, not sure I could just build anywhere, towns are funny that way."
He said pleasently draining the drink Loxley procured for him.
"Miss Yeda... you uh know miss Shalelu? Whats she like. I've heard all these stories about her since i moved into the area, but this is the first i've run across her."
He began tilting his head slightly as he looked into his empty cup. He would have to get another.

Yeda Wolfspirit |

Yeda is glad to have Corrin's question take her mind off of the recent events in town.
Oh! Well, I've only been out on patrol with her a couple of times since arriving in town. She's a different person out there in the wilderness. I suppose I admire the endless things she notices, that I seem to miss. Of course back in my homeland I learned what to look for, but I get the sense that she could track a target even in unfamiliar lands. One can learn a lot from her.

Sazzat Tamm |

"Here, let me get you another drink!" Tamm says to Corrin as he sees the elf eyeing his empty cup.
He takes both Corrin's and his own cups up to the bar to fetch some more ale.

Yeda Wolfspirit |

While waiting for the sheriff to deliver his message, Yeda decides it's as good a time as any to clean off her sword after their recent hunting battles. Boar blood really sticks with a sheath if you don't really clean it off the sword...
*scrub scrub* *polish polish*

DM Greaek |

Sorry guys, MLK weekend hit
Ameiko says "I'll pay the hunters 15 gold apiece for the boar meat, and I would have it in an edible state about 2 days from now"{/b]
You guys get your drinks, and by the time Yeda's done polishing her sword the door opens and in walks the sheriff. Shalelu would be helping Ameko with various day to day tavern odd jobs, and when the sheriff walks in Shalelu says "I got some info sheriff, I was only able to scout out a few tribes. I came back because you said you needed the information asap."

Yeda Wolfspirit |

Yeda suddenly sits at attention and leans forward to focus and listen to the information she has to dispense...

Loxley Geralt |

Loxley nurses her drink as she waits with the others, though her attention perks up a little when Corrin asks Yeda about Shalelu. She was also curious about the elf that came to their aid.
She smiles at Ameiko as she comes over and offers each of the hunting party a reward for the beast they brought back.
”You’re too kind.”
Loxley finishes her drink just as someone new enters the tavern. She sits up straighter when Shalelu addresses him as sheriff.
