I would go for it, but your story places you in Ustalav. A'isha grew up in Qadira and has not been here before. It would make little sense to have her tie in to you in light of her just arriving. Although, if you have an idea of how to achieve this I am all ears.
I am checking in with A'isha. Since I have spent all but about 3GP of her money, I believe I am set. I may buy some small cost items but that is it. I await the gameplay thread!

Rhia's family is pretty well known in Ustalav. At least by the common folk they save. It's like having Van Helsing as a last name.
I will say that Dr. Stefan Von Herzog was inspired by the character Dr. Abraham Van Helsing from the original novel Dracula by Bram Stoker. It seemed appropriate.
Mine was inspired by.....wanting to play a paladin. Haha! :)
Edekar is a scaredy cat who is trying to conquer his fears and they just so happen to be the very things that he writes about *laughs* so if he seems reluctant at times, just push him ;)

So when I metioned brandy earlier it got my brain going about Austershalin Brandy from the Lies of Locke Lamora series, so I went to the internet to see if someone had come up with a recipie for Austershalin Brandy. Sadly no one had but I did find someone who had come up with foods and one drink from the series so I feel like sharing it. Enjoy

I apologize for the unannounced disappearance. I've had a lot on my mind and felt like I needed sometime to sort things out.
I've decided I am quitting PBP, mostly for personal reasons and the need to focus on personal projects that I am not working on as much as I should. I am sorry for returning with bad news, I've had plenty of enjoyable moments with you all and wish you the best of luck.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Went out of country for work and it has been crazy. I want to post tonight because my character should be able to deal with locks, but I am not sure which of my modifiers to add to my roll. Can someone help I am still very new at this.
Roll disable device and add your bonus to it.

I have figured out a way to give Alek his exit and Edekar a small exit but a way to come back in case he decides to return to the internetl, so my evil plan is set in motion.

How do I deal with players leaving and dropping? I make them go crazy and chop peoples legs off. I'll be posting in gameplay again in a few hours.

I hate to say this, but I'm feeling like this game never got off the ground. The slow pacing is really sapping my enthusiasm. So is the general lack of interactions between the PCs.
I'm sorry, but I'm think I'm going to drop out.

As much as it may sound harsh, this is slow gaming medium. If you want faster paced games go find a live/virtual one. You might find that more to your liking. I have just about had enough of the attitude that PbP games MUST be faster. I enjoy the slower pace as it enables me to play when I otherwise could not.
A'isha: Honestly, I was under the impression that you and Arrila had silently dropped out. Both of you are only posting once a week or so.
In the other PbPs I'm in, everyone usually posts once or twice a day, if not more. I find it hard to keep up enthusiasm for a PbP when there's a week between updates.
If everyone remaining here wants to continue, I'll keep playing. I would be interested in picking up the pace a little, though.
I'm still here. I can pick up the pace. The reason I hadn't is that I was under the weather longer than I thought I would be. I am back now.
Is once a day minimum ok with you? :-)
I am also still here. Sorry I haven't replied in the last week. I was traveling for work and ended up in a hotel with no working internet and was living in the dark ages for a week. I can also try to pick up the pace but to be honest since I am so new to this I have a hard time knowing how to respond in the posts and usually look for one of you to get a feel for how we continue to move this story forward.
