Do these weapons have range increments we need to be concerned about?

No, it doesn't seem like that comes into play here.

"With the young upstart way in the lead, all of the others seem to target Laboni with their weapons.... except Lemgem! She hits Nyizin - maybe she is just a bad shot? Both Laboni and Nyiszin come sputtering to a stop! Meanwhile, the others finally get their junkracers into gear, and we have a race again folks! Velocity pulls into the lead, and even though Leboni is stuck in the junk, she has a commanding 2nd place at the momennt. And here they come around the first turn...."

I think those negatives only applied for that round, depending on what weapons hit.

As Velocity speeds past their vessel, Raia takes aim and fires her weapon.

You don't need to add the negatives - in fact, it changes every round, so you don't know what it is until they are done firing at you! I will replace the -20 with whatever it becomes.

"Keep that Kinetic on ratrod." demands the android. "We certainly can't afford him winning this." Spinning her cannon around, she takes a shot at Velocity.

My bad, His roll was a 33 without the -20..

"Everyone shoots at the leader, and Velocity takes a beating, getting pushed into junk pile after junk pile, and falls to 3rd place. Laboni and Nyizin pull into 1st and 2nd, respectively, and Ratrod evades all shots, but still seems to have problems, slamming back and forth into the wall. Looks like he got a glove caught on his gear shift there... that's some bad luck!"

Lemgem punches the big red button, labeled "SuperMegaTurbo!!!" The vehicle rockets onwards with amazing speed. The gnome screams in excitement, keeping her fingers on the gun controls - but unfortunately her shots go far from the target.

Just need a target and roll from Raia.

Boy, this is a neat mechanism, but a darn lot of paperwork for the GM!

Revvy tries to hit Ratrod one more time but the excitement of the race is really getting to him and his nerves are shot..as opposed to his target..

Laboni is thrilled, but also knows she errored. She apologizes to Ratrod for her previous statements. The ysoki’s pride still hurts, but the gesture compels the Salvage Union to offer Laboni some extra payment in the form of collected gear, on top of the race’s prize money. In turn, Laboni presents you with a set of graphite carbon skin armor and 400 credits from the race’s prize pool.

The Lashunta puts down his cocktail, and moves over to congratulate the winner.

"Well done, everyone! It was truly a team effort."
