Nikolai grabs Masa and throws him behind him. "Come on, you twice-born bastard!", Nikolai roars, getting into a defensive stance. "I'll put you back in the ground!"
Move action to pick up Improved Reposition with Martial Flexibility, standard action to reposition Masa. Assuming he fails one or both of those paralysis rolls, his CMD will drop dramatically. My plan is to move him to one of the alcoves on either side of me.

@GM: The ghoul needs to make an acrobatics check to move out of the Slick, I believe. "A creature can walk within or through the area of grease at half normal speed with a DC 10 Acrobatics check. Failure means it can't move that round (and must then make a Reflex save or fall), while failure by 5 or more means it falls (see the Acrobatics skill for details)."
Masa stands frozen, facing the wall in the dark. He is only able to hear the savagery behind him and prays to the great Tien gods to deliver him from this fresh hell.

Masa's right about that, actually. And I think that he can't "5 foot step" out of the grease area. So I'd say it was unable make a full attack.

OK, I don't really see anything to support 5' step in grease or not, but based on what it does say I think it is logical to assume no 5' step. So...

Masa, still conscious, feels his muscles return to his control shortly, and the sickness passes about a minute after that. He is still at 0 hp though.
For those that do not recall the room description:
A purple radiance washes over this cold chamber from a variety of lichens and fungi that grow on the walls and ceiling creating an otherworldly sheen. Straw-filled cages line the north and south walls. In the room’s center, a strange pedestal, carved in the likeness of dozens of grasping tentacles, sits fixed into the stone floor.
The bodies of six thief-takers rest in the cells. All of them are barely alive (same condition as Masa, including being sickened which will pass now that the ghoul is destroyed).
In addition, the ghoul had masterwork torturer’s tool (masterwork artisan’s tools), 100 gp, and an unknown potion.

"Hey, look what I found here", the halfling calls from a 'empty' cell. "A chest and a masterwork longbow with 20 arrows. Interesting."

Sheela breathes a sigh of relief. "Finally...these ghouls are getting annoyting." She frowns as Bernard describes their fate. "We should tell the guards, upstairs about this. The last thing we need are more ghouls roaming about."
Sheela looks at the potion.

Bernard tries Alaneo's wand and in one charge it heals the samurai fully.

It takes quite a bit of time to escort the prisoners topside, as they are all at 0 hp and moving very slowly.
Overhearing Masa, one of the freed men says "Were you looking for the derros? They rotated that room we were in to go further below."
No one actually asked them anything...

They don't know much, but they tell you that the derros that took the prison captured them, and brought them to the ghoul for him to watch. They rotated that cell room to access another tunnel, but they can't tell you how long ago - time lost all meaning for them.
You recall that you already found a switch in that room that you haven't tried to do anything with.
