Sorry about that, Pizzmic. Yeah, going through as a GM I can see stuff I couldn't see as a player. And, unfortunately, many things can't be 'legally' modified in PFS play of the scenarios. I tried, after getting permission with you guys, to give you a better chance but the Color Spray really got you. (In my other group that I am GMing, I didn't plan the Color Spray as well and only one character was hit. So, they were able to succeed with the chance I gave them.)
But, this group, I should say, has already achieved goals giving you both possible prestige points, if not all of the loot yet.

I'll have pizzmic refrain from posting until the surprise round is finished not to confuse what is happening. Also I'm happy that I was wrong about the katana.

#98098-1! Thanks Zoog, it's been fun so far.
Are you going to run any more of the first steps or tier 1 modules??
GM FurtiveZoog
Hi Ralklain,
I wasn't sure whether I was going to or not. Originally, I had planned to do FS I-In Search of Lore, which isn't being retired, and then probably the Frostfur Captives, but I am not so sure. For one, I am going to have more time constraints going forward. And, unfortunately, I am getting a bit discouraged about how this one is petering out. Given the amount I of work I have to put in before, during, and after (much more than a table game), I'll have to think about it.

Lol so personally I'd like to continue onward with this group. Normally I'd offer to run the next module but I have zeeo experience with pbp DMing nor do I have the time to commit to another game like this. I have a full coarse load in college starting next week and I'm working fullntime plus running a game and playjng in one. I'm completely down for playing in another module and would even be willing to pay for an adventure if need be.

I really enjoyed this campaign. Thank you everybody for the run.
Great job Matt!
I am going to change Wuliem a bit. I am thinking Alchemist(Grenadier)
and I need to rearrange his stats and feats and such...
I have been really researching the alchemist class these last 2 weeks and I really like it.
Matt, I am allow to 'change' him and still be legal?
I would really like to continue using Wuliem too!
GM FurtiveZoog
Wuliem,
I agree with Exitium, and not just because of the teeth and claws. I think you can change anything you want between adventures, although you probably should keep wealth/equipment the same since that is tracked.
I know you can change any or all of the features of your character except the PFS# before leveling to 2, and so I would guess you could change multiple times before 2. (Since it is online and posting, I guess you are also stuck with the name because that gets set after only 10 posts.)

I will be adjusting Wuliem prior to our next adventure, although the changes won't be as prominent until next level.
I am hoping that you--Matt--will be willing to run another game with this group.
Please let me know. Of course, if you need a few days break or whatever, I can wait...lol!

You each receive 1 xp, 2 Fame Points, 2 Prestige Points, and 387 gp. (It is 32 gp less than max because of the loss of Fledzer's (the gray man, a "skulk") treasure.)
Remember, I'll need the remaining PFS numbers to fully report the event.
You may want to use the Discussion thread to record day job checks, what you buy and sell, any Prestige Point-based purchases, and so forth.
So, I've finished the Chronicle sheets and I'll scan them here in a bit, sending you each a PM with a link to the PDF on my DropBox. I was waiting a bit to get all of the PFS Character's #s and also to see if anyone wanted to do any day job checks, buy anything with their prestige points, etc. I also decided to go with DropBox and PMs since the other campaign I just finished was pretty slow with sending me email addresses.
I have also reported the event electronically so you can see if your character now has the session credit, etc.
(I'm still missing Sunic's information, but it turns out I can make an incomplete session report and edit it later.)
No day jobs here, though? It is potentially an extra 10 or 20 gp if you have craft, profession, or perform skills.

Wuliem does have craft (Alchemy)---surprise!
craft alchemy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Still new!
Also, where is a 'shopping' list for purchases? And may I craft alchemical items on my 'down' time?

I have a question Matt. I did put one rank in profession when i was making Ralklain, but i did not knew you could buy some things to use other skills as a day job. I plan to acquire the Farmstead property, allowing me to use Handle Animal ranks. Do you think i can use the rank in profession now and retrain it later, or should i avoid using and already retrain, leaving the day job for later?

Wuliem, The 'shopping' list for purchases is 'in' the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play (take a look at my Campaign page for the link). It has descriptions of what anyone can buy from the various sourcebooks (e.g. any mundane items, etc., alchemical items, weapons up to +1, armor up to +1, items made of special materials like cold iron, etc.) and what you can 'buy' with Prestige Points (2 points will get you anything that costs 750 gp or less, etc.).
How can alchemists craft in Pathfinder Society Organized Play?
Alchemists can use the Craft (alchemy) skill to produce items with their Alchemy ability. Follow the Craft rules on pages 91–93 of the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook as well as in the alchemist’s Alchemy ability description. Any item created must be properly noted on that scenario’s Chronicle sheet. Under "Items Bought", note the amount of gold spent and the item created. Alchemists are assumed, for Pathfinder Society Organized Play, to carry the necessary items and tools with them to use available resources to create alchemical items. If they have a base of operations from which to do so, they may use an alchemy lab to gain the +2 bonus on their Craft (alchemy) check. Alchemists may never sell any of their created items nor may they trade them to another PC. However, they may allow other PCs to borrow or use items they’ve created (so long as the alchemist class ability being used allows them to do so).
So, I would say that you can craft as many items as you want using your alchemy skill, paying for the raw materials costs and then making the roll (or taking 10) as per the rules on crafting items. Check the PRD or Core Rulebook for the crafting rules and the DCs for the alchemical items you want to create.
Ralklain, I'd say go ahead and use the day job skill now even if you are thinking of retraining it later, with the logic that you are currently 'paying' for that skill instead of having that skill point in something else.

It occured to me that I have been really remiss in thanking you all, too, for joining up with this newbie GM for what was, IMO, a really great and fun game!
Thanks, All!

PS - More paperwork for you to consider... There is a new thing in the new version of the Guide called the "Inventory Track [or Tracking] Sheet", where you are supposed to record when you purchased and sold/expended each item. (I've heard it is for items over about 25 gp, but I haven't found where that figure is mentioned.) Besides at the end of that document, you can find a zip document with 'regular' and form-fillable PDF versions of the ITS at this link.
GM FurtiveZoog
Ralklain, DropBox may be a good solution for your electronic Chronicle sheets and your ITSs.
If you haven't got DropBox already, you could use my referral link (http://db.tt/vSHVLYyo), which would get me some free extra storage.

Lol, Pizzmic. I always spend just about everything I have, trying to be really prepared. Even food and water really add the weight so one of my first upgrades is a Masterwork Backpack (50 gp), which adds a bit to the amount I can carry.

yes that is indeed a nice option. Also i love the muleback cords (STR 7, i have), but 1k is more than we have right now. So, care for a next one or not? We could be far far inside a dungeon by this time.
GM FurtiveZoog
Ah, yes, the backstory (which you aren't intended to find out within the scenario) had that the original group of Pathfinders that found the keep went inside and encountered a ghoul, which tore Maurit up - causing her to later rise as a ghoul - while the rest of the party fled across the Cairnlands, eventually losing their pursuer but leaving Maurit for dead, which I called her original "betrayal". When she thought she was going to be betrayed by your party - well, slightly before the time when she would have given into her hunger and betrayed you - I had her yelling about being "Betrayed again!".
Fortunately, this scenario was the freebie, so you can always go and read it for yourself if you are curious. :)

Hmm, I thought I bought a wand of CLW already but its possible I have not done so for this guy yet. I'll check and if I haven't I will do so and let you know. Thanks for bringing that up.
EDIT : Just checked, didn't have one on him. Spending 2PPs to get one.

Hi All,
I'm still trying to think about whether I am going to be able to run another campaign with this group soon. I have "First Steps I: In Search of Lore" prepped, but I'm not sure if I could do two groups (this and another dying one I rescued) right now. Since I'll probably have a better idea of how things will be in 4 to 6 weeks, I am wondering if someone else would be able to run a campaign in the meantime. Would one of you be able to run one or know of someone who might? (I'll also post on the games where I know of some PbP GMs.)
Thanks, Matt
(I'll wait a week until I get back from vacation to make this game 'inactive', and you can always PM me.)

Unfortunately, I am full into classes now plus working full time.
I appreciate your running the campaign for us and I do hope you will be able to run another eventually.
Also, Wuliem plans on crafting some alchemical items during this intermission. Do I need to do anything official? And how?
Thanks Matt!
