I'll calculate the totals from selling off our excess equipment later this weekend unless someone else wants to do it sooner.
Rover, I see you listed your name against items on the loot sheet but I don't think you decreased the quantity. Please decrease the quantity column to reflect what you've taken so that we have an accurate count of what is actually in the unclaimed inventory that we can potentially sell off.

I needed to take my mind off of reality for a bit so I distracted myself by reorganizing the loot sheet and totalling up everything in red. Comes to 11,966 credits.
For 4 PCs, that's 2991 each w/ 2 credits remaining.
For 4 PCs + party fund, that's 2393 each w/ 1 credit remaining.
For 4 PCs + Egg + party fund, that's 1994 each w/ 2 credits remaining.
Not including some items I figured either the party could use or someone might want (like the staff of healing).
Handsome Gob |
I've re-arranged Handsome's feats so that he now uses longarms. If anyone has a rifle they no longer want to use, Handsome will take it.
Thanks for doing the legwork, Hi-C!
I've picked up several items from the list: utility scattergun, disruptive fusion seal, brown force field mod and 50 scattergun shells.
Having taken those items, I recalculated the credit distribution.
For 4 PCs, it's 2731 credits each
For 4 PCs + party fund, it's 2185 credits each
I'm okay splitting it either way - either putting cash into the party fund or not. I think Egg said earlier that he won't take his share of credits but will keep his current gear?

Makes sense. Sounds like a good plan to me!

Cool beans, that leaves me with just enough to pick up a Corona rifle. Handsome can make use of her Azimuth model.
Xavier "Rover" Florin |
How about we get a Culinary Synthesiser Mk3 for the Ship? 2500 credits and we need UPB to make us food, saving on rations and whatnot as we can take it with us?
I'm mostly picking up some minor stuff to mess with might sell some of my stuff for better stuff

Awesome, thanks Dreamz! Totally happy with a hand-me-down!

My vote would be to continue contributing to the party fund until we get 14,000 credits, the amount required for a raise dead.
It's the AbadarCorp Diamond Insurance plan: "You pay us, and we do something for you".
Welcome back BNW!!
Okay, everyone add 2185 credits to your own characters and I've added that same amount to the party fund.

Oh. You know. Lemme make a ship sheet. Brb.
EDIT: Updated to Tier 5
Probably replace the link at the top of the page.

Thanks Hi-C!
GM Friendly Sauce, I just realized my disruptive seal can be attached to a bludgeoning weapon only. If it's okay, I'm going to say Handsome bought a tactical baton back at absalom station and attached the seal to that weapon?

I *think* Rover's Gunnery is +9, and not +7 like the Skill Matrix shows.
5 ranks + 4 Dex, right?
If that's the case, he should probably be primary Gunner when we don't need a Science Officer, and Hi-C can shoot the Coilguns.
If their AC is 15, and assuming they Evade, I'd have to roll a 14+ to hit them, but with Rover and I each shooting once we'll nail them a lot quicker.

Sensors: A crew member can also use the starship’s active sensors to attempt Perception checks to examine the surrounding area as if she were standing outside the starship, using her own senses (such as darkvision), but adding the sensors’ modifier as a circumstance bonus to the check.
Darkvision works with sensors. WAT!? Is that only to 60 ft? Can ship sensors not normally see through darkness(infrared, UV, etc)? What does this mean?
Also good catch about the gunnery, I forgot that was BAB or piloting ransk.

Sorry everyone had a major power outage last night due to thunderstorms and well slept in this morning as well as had my actual physical game today so YAY. But I posted!

I can't help but laugh when I cycle back and forth between the online campaigns that BigNorseWolf and I are involved in.
The character in this game is an 8 Int, 14 Wis jackass who thinks of himself and cares little for his opponents.
The character in our other game is a 7 Wis, 12 Int sheltered and naive idealist who doesn't understand money.
But both are frontliners, so the tactics are largely the same. My headspace has evolved into a two-story gym with weights on the 2nd floor and yoga mats on the 1st.

But apparently both white fur and snark are so strong they survive for 1,000 generations and through the gap...

Just FYI I added Initiative, Fortitude, Reflex, and Will to the skill matrix. Mostly just to make it easier for behind the screen rolls for myself.

It’s big for all of you actually, but you can resize it back at the ship.

I love that Rover never dealt with the "dogs" LOL that is some great RP opportunities

The player is a big dog person (looks at name)
For some reason, dogs, even a captive wolf pack I worked with for a lil while, all seem to treat me like a large dog and playground equipment.
"Oooo we can bite this one and jump on it and roll around on his lap and it barely moves! You gotta try this! "
Which would probably be a lot scarier if i was less than half their size instead of more than twice their size.

Oh Handsome is so ready to jump into the dog conversation! (soon-to-be shootout?)
But unfortunately, I'm getting off a rough 15 hour work day. Sorry, too beat to post today. Will see about tomorrow....
You guys are hilarious though!

"Mister Florin, did you manage to pick up anything to deal with your species night blindness? I have something that can help with that if not. "
lol "I don't have dark vision you just have night blindness" is gonna be thing now for at least one of my characters.

I mean come on, everything in the universe sees in the dark EXCEPT for humans. The only thing less observant are blind vlaka and plants that can only tell if they're photosynthesizing or not. Remind me why these guys are the definition of normal?

Rules question here and my searchfu is weak right now: Does force damage get through specific DR? in the current encounter these skreelings have DR 5/cold iron so do the magic missiles that did 2 a piece affect them at all? I included a spoiler for either option but wanted to see if I just suck at research or if this isn't known.
Handsome Gob |
DR applies to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage only. So magic missiles do full damage as it is not any of the three.
