Seelah moves south to try and get a clear shot then shoots.

I hate doing this,Kahel thought as she began gathering elemental energies. Within a fairly large radius around the young kitsune wind and lightning began to swirl around her. It was a loud and entirely too flashy thing to do, and often alerted any enemies who didn't know about their presence. All this elemental power coalesced in her hands. And when she thrust those hands out in the direction of the ooze the resulting bolt of energy was brighter. It also flew far further then what she normally could achieve.

The combination of attacks from Kahel and Seelah are enough to drop the grey goo before it can harm you. As the sky dome of green electricity fades slowly, the remaining groups of Pathfinders head back into the vault.

Moving forward, Kahel took cover behind one of the obstructions. As she did so she launched a bolt of electricity at one of the two new copies of Arodeth. Hopfully her fellow pathfinders could finish this soon. Kahel didn't know how much more heartbreak she could withstand. Being forced to kill this woman repeatedly was already getting to her.

Kahel blasts the copy's last image away. She responds by pummeling Amiri with her frigid blast. Amelia weaves a bolt of fire against her, and Amiri shakes off the cold to deliver the killing blow. Solange sprays the field with colors which forces the other copy of Lady Arodeth to the ground lifeless. The grisly deed of finishing her off means the battle is over for the moment, but other copies still take shape in the machinery, and will arrive soon.

I'm going to assume that Wraith (or someone) can finish off yellow with a coup de grace. You have four rounds to heal and move yourself to position for the new battle. Alternately, you can still go into the other room and face the real Lady Arodeth yourself.

With both of the copies down Kahel reached into her pack and withdrew a wand. She then moved up and muttered a few words before tapping the wnd to Amiri. This caused a brief surge of positive energy to flow through the barbarian. With that done she placed the wand back in her pack.

"I just wish this wasn't necessary." Kahel said as she took Seelah's advice.
Briefly she wondered if it was possible to prevent the machine from generating more copies. Yet she didn't know if there would be enough time to figure out how to shut down the machine.

As Pathfinders defeat the furious simulacra, they disperse into foul mist that screams in anger before fading away entirely. Nearby, the true Lady Arodeth seems shaken by the destruction of her miasmic doppelgangers, and their deaths seem to sap her of her zealous rage.

The appearance of one of them right next to Kahel startled her. Taking a quick step to the right, Kahel once again gathered elemental energies in a large and noisy display. This time it coalesced into the shape of a dagger. Kahel swung the dagger at the clone in desperation.

The asteroid looms impossibly large overhead, and the air grows stiflingly hot as the world itself begins to rumble. High overhead, the dome of green energy shudders, twists, and finally shatters, and Pathfinders’ bodies begin melting into flowing particles as the world slips away.
Just as quickly, you stumble as Bloodwatered Meadow coalesces beneath your feet, as it does for countless other Society agents. The wildflowers bob lazily in the wind, and nothing but a few still bodies stand as testament to the bloodshed and struggle of the past five hours. Kreighton Shaine, looking several years older, staggers to his feet and gives a nervous chuckle before climbing up a small knoll and waving his arms for the crowd’s attention.
“What we have all witnessed here today has been a remarkably journey that included sights no living soul on Golarion has witnessed. The Sky Key has allowed us to walk among the serpentfolk and Azlanti, gazing upon several of the greatest events to shape Golarion and the region that would one day become the Inner Sea. Let the catastrophe that we witnessed and narrowly escaped humble us and teach us so that we might find value in preserving the messages and wisdom those lost people may have left behind for us to discover. I think we all have some responsibility to remember those who passed so that our modern world can exist.
“You have all observed great things and have notes to share. This much is certain. But for now, let us… let us simply take a few days to reflect. The Society, I imagine, will send agents to collect your notes and interview you about your experiences. Until then, find your families and loved ones, as I know I shall. Failing that, find some passion that ties you to the here and now, and embrace it.
“We survived, Pathfinders. I am proud of your Unrivaled Accomplishment!”

Congrats everyone. The stakes haven't been higher for a PbP Special, but everyone rose to the occasion. I've been watching the successes come in on the Google form and it's been exciting watching you inch closer and closer to the goal! There have certainly been some super tables out there, but it's fairly clear that everyone has been working hard and contributing to the group success. I'm super proud of you guys.
At this point, you have a chance to perform Downtime activity and roll for boons. Because the house earned an Unrivaled Accomplishment, everyone gets their Secondary Success Condition.
I'd like to send a big thank you to all of the players for participating in this event, and a big thank you to all the GMs who ran this. Running and playing in the Play-by-Post specials are a lot of work in a short time, and you rose to the challenge.
If you have any feedback about how this was run at all, please either email me at jmcteague@pathfindersocietyonline.com, or email Jesse at jesse@pathfindersocietyonline.com

When the world reformed around them Kahel sank to the ground. She didn't care about the dirt and mud which was getting in her fur. That didn't matter even though it would take time to get clean. She had survived. They had survived. This was a win, and yet in her heart it didn't feel like one. For the first time in a while Kahel questioned why she was here.
"I pray I never have to go through anything like today again."

Thank you so much to everyone! I have had a great time with yall!!"
Amelia drops to her knees in relief as the earth of her own time forms under her feet. "Thank the gods!" she exclaims "I don't know how much more of that I could have taken." She looks at he new friends with tears welling in her brown eyes. "I will stand with any of you at any time. Just say the word!"

"I... need to visit my brother for a while. And maybe spend some time with my parents. I heard they are in town buying goods."
With that the sobbing kitsune slowly made her way back towards the lodge. Before she could even think of taking time off to visit with family, she still had a report to write. Her superiors were not very forgiving in that regard.

When Solange reformed in the present time, she opened her eyes. At first she couldn't believe it. Her vision, once limited to thirty feet, had doubled in scope. What could this mean? It will take time to figure out what Sarenrae had in store for her.
Woo hoo. Level 5!
