rub it in......
Lol.
I've been picking up a bunch of notches recently. Four here, two in JR, one in Bonekeep.....
I must be in an evil GM mood or something. Maybe it's because Faraz has been paralyzed for two weeks and relegated to singing Willie Nelson to keep himself company.

If Flinders didn't save you, you'd be a vampire Champion of Irori right now.
Would that make you like the vampire verson of an Iroran mummy monk?
Tolgarov |
In JR, my character have already died three times, and we're only at the beginning of the 4th book !
I've also had my evil GM mood sometime ago by killing players on each of my PFS game for several weeks :P

EF and BS are responsible for 99% on my PC's death or near death experiences. (Shin died in a Day of the Demon Roll20 game and Ezrek nearly died in a Roll20 Before the Dawn pt 1, both games GM'd by the same guy.) Must be the area they're from. I'll have to have a talk with Mike B. about censure or something....
Ace of the Flesh Puppets |
Mike B. just died to EF in Bonekeep. He would probably vote for censure.
Tolgarov |
I've killed nobody in Bonekeep 1 & 2 :'(
Must be a too soft GM in these...
My highest death ratio was the same player character killed twice in The Ruby Phoenix Tournament, and a nearly TPK in weapon in the rift (3 dead) before they enter the last room.

And that was the second of Mike B's characters I've killed! At least this one was high enough to raise himself, the other was just outright dead (and it was one of his Flaxseed characters too).

We just like excitement I guess. Can't have excitement without a little bit of danger!
Edit: Most of you know Signboy77/Desmond. I must have it out for him, I think I've killed two of his characters and put Desmond in some sticky situations a few times. Desmond was one of the ones I killed (he got better).
"Fletch" |
One player in my Shattered Star campaign has had 7 character deaths. And no one else has lost more than one. So I think it's him, not me. :-)
Ace of the Flesh Puppets |
Apologies for the absence. Sickness overtook me and left me incapacitated for a while.
"Fletch" |
GM, I'm not used to having my animal companion go before me and I'm not sure how to proceed. Unless threatened, Romulus would not ordinarily attack without a command from Fletch, but he is still just an animal. Can I delay Romulus's action?
Tolgarov |
Usually AC play at their master initiative (and don't roll it) to avoid this kind of thing, as AC wait for orders.
EndlessForms |
You can't command him until your turn so I guess Romulus will just delay until Fletch goes.

So I just reminded myself while talking to Ace that I never shared the story of how our group solved the Sonnorae (hag) fight when I played.
---
GM (as Sonnorae): "I need you to bring me some items... specifically, a heart, a tongue, and an eye-"
Me (out-of-character, cutting him off): "Is the goblin still there?"
GM (confused): "Yes...."
Me: "Fft, fft, fft! I draw my bow and flurry arrows into the goblin" (rolling dice) "I think I hit on all of them. . . for 90+ damage."
GM (still confused): "Yes. . . you obliterate the one hit-die goblin."
Me: "Good. I walk over, cut out its heart, tongue, and eye and hand them to the hag."
Me (in character): "There you go. Now give us the token. Thank you."
GM: "Well, that's not what she was going for. . . but I guess that's what she said."
