Yes, it is the same day. You are still in his fortress and have no where really to rest in safety.

Not sure what orders you would be going up. There are two sets of stairs. I have placed you near both of them and you can rearrange how you would be ascending however you like.

Wraparound stairways give way to an immense library and observatory. Shelves stuffed to bursting with tomes, scrolls, and loose scraps of paper line every surface, while bottles and obscure tools crowd tabletops. Towering stacks of books reach to the ceiling like parchment columns. In the center of the library, aimed into a tattered and torn silk tapestry, sits an immense golden telescope.

Zassrion dominates the room, the all-seeing draconic master of the Harrowed Realm waiting for you. "Ah. . . what's this now? Gathering tokens, allying with or defeating the old Conspirators. . . do we have some new hopeful Conspirators coming to best me? I should think not. Blessed with Sonnorae's ambition, there are none in this Realm with strength beyond my own. So I welcome you and name you The Failed Conspiracy!"

Fendahl would have accepted bull strength on Kirrah and/or himself from Tolgorav if extra's were available.

Fendahl remains riding the air-walking Kirrah as they ascend the north stairs to view the dragon and listen to the mad boasts.

They will await any range spells or attacks from companions before closing to melee with the huge dragon.

"Hrrmm, and you have earned your name of dishonorable worm! You will pay for your unjust attacks."

Maldoc is stupid brave enough to attack the dragon! He takes time to cast Frigid Touch and moves in!

I'll use my Empowered ability on this spell. I'll also expend a point to make the blade Keen and hope for the best.

Maldoc hits the dragon and sends a shock of cold through his blade to hit the Conspirator Dragon! Meanwhile Tolgarov uncovers another dragon-shape in the corner, although he fails to blind either of them!

Figuring the dragon in the middle of the room is an illusion, Hawk darts to the south and fires an arrow at the dragon in the corner.

Gravity Bow: 2d6 + 3 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (6, 5) + 3 + 1 + 4 = 19

Ace inspires his comrades as he bolsters their fighting technique with Good Hope. "Take him down, so we can get out of here."

+2 to attack and damage from Inspire; +2 to attack, damage, and saves from Good Hope.

Ace offers up hope for the fight ahead as Hawk fires his arrow. Unfortunately, it misses. Fendahl and Kirrah have more luck though and only one of Kirrah's claws misses. The Patchwork Lord does take a bite at Fendahl as they move in though:

Fendahl is proud of Kirrah's assault on the second dragon. However, the massive bite endured leaves Fendahl breathless.

Fendahl retaliates and cuts into the dragon for taking down his pet lion! Tolgarov then hits the lion with a trio of magical rays but it takes another hit from Faldoc to take down the head Conspirator!

Out of combat!

Zassrion’s collection of lore is worth 6,000 gp. The various Conspirators’ tokens collected by you tug toward the tapestry—actually the shreds of Sonnorae’s scarf—hanging before the telescope. If touched to the fabric, they weave themselves back into the kapenia perfectly. Restoring all eight tokens causes the kapenia to shift and knit itself back into its original configuration, a scarf which functions as a robe of scintillating colors.

The telescope peers through the tattered remains of Sonnorae’s kapenia and into the real world through the Deck of Harrowed Tales. This device alone, his Outreaching Eye, allows the Patchwork Lord to bypass the Harrowed Realm’s seals, viewing and interacting with the Material Plane. Peering through the eyepiece reveals the deck’s surroundings in the real world, but with the anchor inside the Harrowed Realm itself, it only reveals the last place a portal opened: the tent of All-Seeing Hajeck.

Now no longer guarded by the dragon, you can move through the door that leads to Zassrion's hoard. Statues flank the walls of this chamber, interspersed with ancient portraits. The large bed in the room’s center long ago collapsed under the weight of the coins and gems heaped upon it.

Each of the 10 art pieces is worth 150 gp. Zassrion’s hoard contains 348 pp, 2,872 gp, 10,132 sp, and 5,023 cp, plus 50 pounds of vanilla beans (worth 15 gp per pound), a rug worth 350 gp, a +2 kukri, a +2 slick breastplate, 4 +3 flaming arrows, bracers of armor +2, boots of teleportation, a folding boat, a javelin of lightning, 6 potions of cure serious wounds, a ring of wizardry I, a scroll of blade barrier, a scroll of elemental body IV, a scroll of illusory wall, a divine wand of dismissal with 12 charges, and a wand of blur.

Zassrion is gone, which means you have free reign of the Striding Fortress. Just as the efreeti and marid couple told you, the room above theirs has been turned into a prison. Iron bars divide this chamber. To one side, elaborate tables, tools, and biology diagrams imply torture. To the other, unidentifiable stains mark a row of dingy cells.

The Patchwork Lord’s latest victim, the Taldan scholar Meloigne Garracy, rests in one of the cells after Zassrion’s latest round of tests. Half-starved and a touch mad from his experiences, Meloigne immediately begs you for help. With no one to stop you, you can break the bedraggled scholar out.

Combined with Zassrion’s Outreaching Eye, any sort of teleportation magic frees you from the Harrowed Realm. Meloigne thanks you profusely, offering to let them stay in his small estate in Oppara and paying a 5,000 gp reward, the last of his family fortune, to you in gratitude. He seeks counseling from the temple of Shelyn after his experiences, and eventually drifts away from his scholarly pursuits, channeling his experiences in the Harrowed Realm into surrealist paintings.

And that wraps it up! There were some shadows in the kitchen but there was no need to fight them. I will get chronicles out soon. I hope everyone enjoyed the module! This is certainly one of my favorites and I have been wanting to run it for some time so I'm glad I got the chance.

Before I send out chronicles though, can everyone please confirm how much they spent on Raises and Restorations (and whether you were paying in PP or GP?

Just as a reminder:

Have your body recovered by a rescue team: 5 PP (I think rightfully everyone would have to pay this since you all had to get pulled out of the Harrowed Realm for a bit in the middle. Does that sound fair?)

Raise Dead: 16 PP or 5450 gp

Restoration: 4 PP each or 1280 gp each (Raise Dead leaves you with two negative levels, which requires two Restorations to remove)

Fendahl would pay the 5PP to have the recovery team. He did not die, nor did Kirrah. I am not sure if a second 5pp would be needed for the lion, but he could just call another since we had more than 24hrs. So 5PP total.
