Her DC should be 19 (10 + 6 (int) + 3 (half her witch levels) for the Slumber hex, I expect.
As for the debilitating portent, it's one save per attack or spell, not once for a whole full-attack.
Kynrac draws his wand of ill omen and uses it on the gug.
His next d20 roll has to be rolled twice, and he'll have to take the lesser result.

G.M.E.W. |

In that case I'll roll 3 more times for the 3 hits
Will 1: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28
Will 2: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22
Will 3: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32
Yikes I think I just killed George.
32-60= -28hp
He is still Breath of Life able!
@Kynrac,
I'll let you retcon your action.
[/ooc]

Voros will throw another bomb.
Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 11 + 2 = 19 for Bomb (Acid): 4d6 + 8 ⇒ (5, 2, 1, 3) + 8 = 19
Sorry for the lack of roleplay, I don't have much time to post.

![]() |

Ut Oh! choose Extra attack from FOB - AC25 for now
Perturbed that he couldn't draw the creature's ire with his deep cut on its leg and seeing it unleash an unholy beating on his fellow pathfinder, Boswick does the only thing he can think of and try to drop the beast as quickly as possible and pray to Iomedae that George is still alive.
5 foot step to flank with Ignatious. Then 3 power attack blows with flanking (so -2, then +2)
Attack 1: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
Damage 1: 1d8 + 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (3) + (3) + 8 = 14
Attack 2: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
Damage 2: 1d8 + 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (7) + (2) + 8 = 17
Attack 3: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Damage 3: 1d8 + 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (1) + (5) + 8 = 14

G.M.E.W. |

Voros and Boss are able to bring the creature down with a combinations of blade and bomb. As the fumes from the acid waft away everyone can see George laying motionless on the ground.
I'll assume Kynrac rushes over and casts Breath of life. He is 35ft away but luckly Blessing of Fervor is up so he can definely make it over there. George only needs at least 16hp to not die so he'll live.
Breath of Life: 5d8 + 11 ⇒ (8, 1, 5, 6, 8) + 11 = 39

![]() |

Whew, was afraid those wouldn't hit. That's a relief.
Whatever that thing was I hope there aren't more of them around. George glad to see you're still with us after the walloping that thing gave you.

![]() |

Kynrac indeed rushes to save his companion from a certain death, teleporting to his feet.
Concentration DC 25: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (15) + 22 = 37
Casting breath of life instead of the wand shennanigan. I'll move the 50 feet with Time Hop, then cast defensively. Keeping the +2 AC/Ref/attack rolls for the BoF instead of getting movement. Let's not forget I'm within reach of the gug.

![]() |

If all else fails, I have a scroll of BoL as well, and I think I can 5ft step to him.

![]() |

With the Gug dead and George alive, Boswick searches for signs of the creatures layer or were it came from; sword at the ready.
Take 20 on Perception for result of 21
Other more adept observes might want to do so as well.

![]() |

Sorry, I missed the fact that the gug is dead, so I'll use BoF to reach Boswick and keep my Time Hop for later then.
At Boswick's behest, Kynrac looks around.
Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21

![]() |

Voros looks around, looking for another threat. Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22

![]() |

"I have ample healing should it be needed. Does anyone know why this thing attacked us? Did we somehow violate one of it's codes of etiquette?"

![]() |

George stands up and brushes off his black cloak. Mr. Chips continually bonks him on the head with a rock. "SQUEAK SQUEAK!"
"Glad to be here. I assume that murky darkness was death?" George says as he contemplates what has happened.
---
5d8 + 5 ⇒ (1, 5, 7, 7, 5) + 5 = 30
After regaining his composure and using his wand of healing to mend his wounds and set his broken bones, George steels himself and takes his position in the lead, relieved in his companions capabilities and distraught at his own lacking abilities.
Stealth: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (4) + 19 = 23
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26

![]() |

Save your wand charges, I'll channel to heal everyone, I just honestly not sure who exactly was hurt. Outside of the AoO's, did George take all the hits?
Channel Heal (x2): 10d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 2, 4, 4, 2, 3, 2, 3, 3) = 28

![]() |

No worries EW, you do a great job keeping the game moving.

G.M.E.W. |

With the party healed up and George recovered from his near death experience you continue down the path for another few hours when the twisting tunnels of the Sundered Path give way to Round Mountain’s great central chasm. From the top of a large stone landing, a massive seven-story pagoda can be seen at the cavern’s center. Torches illuminate a set of worn steps, carved from bedrock and nearly ten feet wide, spiraling down the edge of the chasm toward the pagoda’s entrance hundreds of feet below.
Venturing further into the chamber along the Sundered path, the ground beneath begins to tremble softly; a rumbling sound slowly growing louder and more violent until the ground erupts in a shower of rock and debris!
You have 2 rounds for buffs and what not before what ever is coming bursts through the ground ahead of you.

![]() |

Sensing an impending danger, Kynrac immediately opens the flesh of his palm with a dagger, his blood turning into diamonds which disappear an instant later when he casts another spell, more powerful this time, to cover Boswick's skin with a protective stone layer. He repeats the same process immediately after with George.
Boswick and George, you are now protected by stoneskin (DR 10/adamantine, 110 pts total).
Self-damamge: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 1) = 6 and 2 strength damage.

![]() |

Freedom of Movement on Boswick and a Blessing of Fervor on everyone.

![]() |

Seeing his companions prepare, Voros draws extracts and downs them.
Channel vigor, choosing to focus on his mind and a targeted bomb admixture.

![]() |

George will draw and consume his mutagen, not wanting a repeat of his previous performance. He will additionally draw his potion of Monstrous Physique and consumes it, forcing his body to take the shape of a Popobala.
George becomes a brawny, sallow-skinned figure that is muscular but lean, with batlike wings and a single hideous eye in its noseless face.

![]() |

Boswick uses his Divine Bond to Keen his longsword and then casts Eagle's Splendor on himself.

G.M.E.W. |

The ground erupts in a shower of rock and debris as a massive serpentine form burst forward like a fish jumping from the water. Instead of crashing back down to the ground the immense dragon remains in in the air, twisting this way and that as if swimming in the air. The Dragon has enormous claws, jagged, stonelike horns and scale all the deep glossy black of volcanic rock.
The beast speaks, shaking the cavern walls with its roar. From behind its glass like teeth the orange glow of lava can be seen.
YOU HAVE ENTERED MY REALM MORTALS! I AM THE MIGHTY XIANGNUER, KEEPER OF THE SUNDERED PATH! WHAT TRIBUTE HAVE YOU BROUGHT TO HONOR ME!?!?

![]() |

"Well that's awkward, but did anybody understand what he said?"

![]() |

In Draconic "I am Ignatious, the offspring of the Sacred Inferno. I ask you the same question, Ass-Butt! What tribute, MORTAL, do you bring me?"

@ Ignatious,
All you know is that you definitely just pissed off a Dragon.

B$%$# called me mortal!!!! :P

George has a higher Initiative since he drank his Mutagen.

![]() |

"If you can hold for a moment, I'll give us wings, too. Sir Boswick, . . . get me it's head."

![]() |

Yes. Ignatius is, special. Haha

![]() |

Boswick will delay until Ignatious casts his spell. I suspect it is Communal Air Walk. So if I understand it correctly I can move up at a 45 degree angle at half speed. I'll use BoF to increase my movement by 30 ft. , then double move so 50ft total 35 over and 15 up.
Before I move swift action Smite Evil on the Dragon.
At Ignatious behest Boswick delays his action until he receives the flying magic. He then moves toward the Dragon. Drawing his longsword as he goes.
Iomadae give me the strength to Smite this evil from the world.

![]() |

That was my plan. I figure 20 mins per person except me.

![]() |

Free action before Boswick acts: "Hold on a second, Boswick!"
Kynrac will try to learn what kind of energy that particular dragon breathes, then cast communal resist energy to that particular element (DR 30/-) on all his companions, if possible before Boswick acts (if he agrees to delay until Kynrac has cast his spell).
Knowledge (arcana): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26 Questions: 1) type of energy; 2) DR; 3) Weaknesses
Kynrac studies the dragon for a brief moment, then focuses abjurative energy in his hands, sharing it with all his companions. "Fear not the dragon's breath, my friends. Irori watches over you and pain is only an information, nothing more." he whispers to them as they prepare to confront one of the mightiest foes of all Golarion.

![]() |

Yes I'll delay behind Kynrac, I think I'm behind you in init order anyway and since I delayed behind Ignatious. Funny that we all had 20 init.

Fire resistance 30/- for everyone, then!

George flaps his new wings and raises up into the air as he moves forward, cautiously approaching the dragon. Standard Action for Total Defense

Fly: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29
When I made the map I looked at the wrong tier for the dragon when getting the size. It is actually only large. I'm going to leave it as is since it looks cooler but that is why it only have a 10ft reach.
The massive dragon lets out another earth shattering roar moves to line up its breath weapon. As the monster opens it huge, toothy mouth everyone, except for the Fearless Bos, feels cold dread wash over them, before a line of fire blasts Birgit, Kynrac, and Ignatious.

Anticipating the inevitable attack incoming as he closes with the dragon. Boswick rushes forward eager to smite the beast.
By the authority of Iomedae I order you to surrender and present yourself for immediate execution.
Not waiting for the Dragon's reply; Boswick looks for a weak point on the dragon and attempts to land a vital strike against it.
