I will be running PFS First Steps (all three modules) as PbP for level 1 Pathfinder Society Characters. Please review the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play for build rules if you are unfamiliar with setting up a character for PFS.

I will be using Roll20 to handle maps/combat placement. You will need a free Roll20 account to view the maps/place your pieces. (NOTE Combat will still be run via PbP, Roll20 will ONLY be used for map placement.) Roll20 Link
I will be running all three modules in succession. Drop-outs can be replaced, but it can cause delays so I would prefer individuals that can stick around for all three modules. If you would like to run all three, apply below. I will run up to 2 tables of six if there is enough interest. As such I'll cut off recruitment after 16 completed applications (4 extra to accommodate for no-shows/dropouts).
Would like to try and stick to a minimum posts of 1/day for weekdays, 1/weekend preferred.
I hope to begin Monday, March 18, 2013 at the latest.
A complete application includes the following:
- Full stat-block, including link to character sheet (Google Doc sheet example)
- Extended details on their Character Settings in their Class/Level field on the forums here. Details: Class Level | AC XX T XX FF XX | HP XX/XX | F +X R +X W +X | Init +X

Thanks for starting up a game, GM Dak.
I'd be interested in playing through these three modules. Do we need to be registered or do you just want us to use the Pathfinder Society guidelines for character creation?
I haven't registered yet (I never have time to attend events), but I always wondered if their shorter modules would be a better format for PBPs, so I'd love to take part.

Dak - I've played a fair bit of PbP, but am new to PFS play. Looking through the PFS guide, I have a question: Are you just playing core rulebook races and classes, or is is wide open to Paizo stuff on the SRD, or somewhere in between?
Thinking of an inquisitor, and want to be sure I post a class that's legal for your game.

Khelreddin you can play anything that is legal for play. There are details in the Pathfinder Society Additional Resources that note what is/is not legal for play. Inquisitor is legal for play.

I think I edited my class/level field as required, and my character sheet is linked right here.
Please do let me know if you need anything else. I haven't played the First Steps series but have played a few PFS games in non-pbp format. I'm available for all three steps.

VDZ you take your actions as normal, describing what you are doing. When it comes down to initiative events you do your turns in order of initiative just like when playing in-person.
I've only recently started playing PbP and they work really well in my opinon as long as everyone stays active. They are especially great if you don't generally have the time to sit down for 4 hours to play a game but can jump on the internet to read/update posts throughout the day.
One thing to keep in mind (not as much of an issue with these First Steps since they are new characters) is that your character can't be played in another PFS game while it is playing in the PbP, sames as it would be with normal PFS games. The difference being these games takes about 4 weeks to finish one rather than the 4 hours of a normal game simply due to waiting on people to post at different times of the day.

I'd be very interested in going through this with Polami, a character I made for another First Steps PbP that I was too slow to get in.
She's a Human Free-Hand Fighter (probably eventually going into Duellist).
She should be completely PFS legal, but let me know if you see anything that needs changing.
VDZ: My understanding is that you are allowed to leave your Faction Trait slot open for First Steps since you aren't in a Faction yet, but that by the time you're finished you need to pick both a Faction and a trait.

Right now I've got him set as a standard Bard but was thinking of using the Savage Skald archetype (APG) to make things a bit more fluffy if that's ok with you (I believe it should be PFS legal but always good to run it by the DM :)

We have a ton of ranged at the moment, at least one of the fighters is going an archer. We have only one divine caster so a druid/cleric/oracle would be really nice. Also, a ton of humans :P that extra feet is just too alluring.
Simply because of mechanics (and getting more sneak attacks) i would like to be with Polami, but then we would have 0 front line for one party.

Well, Polami is going to have to be my flanking buddy pretty much all the time or i will be useless. in later levels i plan on getting Feints and Passing trick but thats not for a looong time. I guess we can go ambush heavy, set up traps and such, it just makes me a liiitle sad to see just HOW ranged we are, as a rogue that is.
