5 foot step, hopefully out of the smoke, and keep swinging.
"Ready to give up yet? You are running out of allies."

Katana, PA, oh wait he has Furious Focus, too, I'm so bad at words: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (18) + 14 = 321d8 + 11 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 11 + 6 = 25
Katana iterative: 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 9 - 2 = 151d8 + 11 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 11 + 6 = 22
Confirm d'at 18-20: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 281d8 + 11 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 11 + 6 = 23

Thank you smite, for raising my AC one above that crit hit, lol. Healing and swinging.
"Took you long enough." Sebastian shouts, but continues on unaffected by the cut.
Lay on Hands 3d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 1) = 6
Attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15 (Inspire, Smite)

Krunch and Sharna!

![]() |

Sharna gives a small nod to herself at seeing the battlefield finally unfold the way she would like it to, more or less. This would have been far preferable had her last spell taken hold, but... all things in their time.
Again she raises her hands. Both index fingers point towards the huge man in the armor. It is very nice of him, she thinks, to make such a conveniently sized target.
"The desert storm is my inheritance. The desert thunder echoes in my bones. And in my veins sings lightning," she whispers to herself.
A blue-white, blinding streak of electricity erupts from her hands and tears straight for the leader of their enemies.
Lightning bolt. By the map I should have a clear shot on the big bad. Reflex save DC 18 for half, if he makes it.
Zzzzzap.: 6d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 2, 6, 3, 1) = 21
And then we keep cackling as a move.

Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 941 + 21 = 62

Krunch! Note that there's more fog that will get updated tonight in the squares you and the mook were in after grapple #2 (the one that killed him.

Krunch advances and attacks.
Punch: 1d20 + 11 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 11 + 4 = 21
Damage: 1d6 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 8 + 2 = 11
Bite: 1d20 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 4 = 11
Damage: 1d6 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 2 = 9
Grapple: 1d20 + 15 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 15 + 4 = 34
"Krunch wants to wrestle the giant man!"

GM Burglar |

Apologies for delay. Added Smoke clouds and moves people as per their requests (read: Seb said "not in smoke.")

The very-bleeding big looka-like-a man swings his blade yet again at the divine warrior who has been harassing him since the beginning! Katana: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (8) + 14 = 221d8 + 11 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 11 + 6 = 24
Katana 2: 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 9 - 2 = 111d8 + 11 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 11 + 6 = 20
He has no luck himself! There's clearly pugwampis about! (Not really.)

Han, followed by Bads mooks, then Club (Sharna, Sebastian, Krunch) and back to Big Bad!

![]() |

Sharna flexes her fingers and cracks her neck. Da-na-nanana.
Then she glares really hard at the big man in armor.
Move action to Cackle. Evil Eye, targeting saves on bigbad, Will save 18. If he makes it, duration is still 1 round.

Seb and Krunch! Finally, at that back-and-forth state! The only needed change is that Han's mook is down now, too.

Seeing that the man no longer wants to talk, Sebastian focuses all his attention on putting him down.

I'd speed things up to the end, but we've got one Osirion faction mission status outstanding and don't want to stifle creative solutions. PFS#s and Day job rolls, if needed, are rollable now. (though for three of you, I can probably figure out the numbers myself if I e-detective it up like I normally do for the low table.)
Edit: Which I ended up doing anyways. Just need Sharna to fail/complete her mission and sheets will get all distributed, and event reported and whatnot!

![]() |

Sharna hurries over to examine the motionless bodies. Fortunately, she is able to use her knowledge of healin' to ascertain their injuries are due to poison! Because Knowledge!
And just as fortunately, she happens to have a scroll of Lesser Restoration in her pack. She will use it on Amara Li, as Amara is the only one who knows how to get the hell off the island...
Scroll Restore!: 1d4 ⇒ 3
And then she will use her potion of lesser restoration on the old man, because she's a helper.
Potion: 1d4 ⇒ 3
"I cannot currently restore them to full strength, but at least I can bring them back to consciousness," Sharna says as she sets to work. A minute later, both Amara Li and their new friend should be conscious, at least.
In the ensuing explanations and assistance, Sharna will politely ask the elder if she might be permitted to consult any libraries of his people, as she would like to learn more of the poisons of their land, that she might able to better heal the injured in the future.
Diplomacy, if needed: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19

GM Burglar |

Needed a DC 19 Diplomancy, so GG.
Sharna gets the two individuals moving, if one could call their clunky movements such a thing. Using either katanas, sticks, or utilizing tiefling aid. On the travel back, Tsuneo dimly asks "whether the aid they left to procure had arrived, or had their pact with their ancient guardians fallen though." On the way back to the surface through a secret passage in the back of the cave (which winds around the northern part of the island), Tsueno smiles at seeing a number of distant creatures firing off bolts of lightning, cones of fire, and whatnot.
During the travel back to the house's remains, Tsueno assures you that is the aid for which he called earlier and discusses the topic of "of why their libraries are needed" to ascertain the true reason and, if given the real reason (due to Sharna's incapability of hiding the half-truth), still agrees to the information exchange and will pass along the contact information to the Ruby Prince on behalf of the Sapphire Sage.
After the minutes of traveling by foot back to the house, what turn out to be 4 stag-like creatures covered in golden, draconic scales, gracefully fly over to the party with unseen wings. Kn(A), or ask Tsuneo if you're not a smarty-pants They land, with one clearly in a more leader-like position and looks to Tsuneo. A few moments pass, and each of you are telepathically linked and given a congratulations for rescuing the oathbreaker Mikogu Shimazi. They utilize their Lesser Restoration SLAs to restore the two to a better-working capacity and fly off to patrol in case of stragglers.
Tsuneo explains that Shimazi was a former student of his who assumed the Way would blindly aid him in his aggressively-expansive capitalist ventures. Tsuneo had presumed was dead for years now but must have fallen to his captors alive, and profusely apologizes for endangering the meeting (even if it was by circumstance.) Needless to say, the Society has a true ally in the Way of the Kirin now. Amara, with the bodies of her two dead servants, asks Han to pilot them to Haseong, Hwanggot through Naikang Bay. The ~1500 mile travel, while taking its time compared to Amara's usual teleports, is uneventful beyond what events you provide yourselves. Once arriving in the capital of Hwanggot, she procures a scroll to perform her usual method of transportation to Goka (from which the Tapestry can be used for return travel to Absalom.) She takes time personally to visit each of you before you leave to thank you for the effort provided on the mission.
"Please, take a seat; you've earned it." She begins to play the instrument and begins to speak. "Several years ago I arrived in Absalom as a nearly unknown figure who spoke of a nearly unknown land, and together we endeavored to bring the wonders of Tian Xia to the Pathfinder Society and in doing so draw the Society’s attention to our land. We brought the Decemvirate knowledge of the Hao Jin Tapestry, and it was we who guarded it against further intrusion when our enemies exploited gaps in the demiplane’s weave. With our efforts it is now one of the greatest treasures and tools of the Society. Were that not enough, we have now secured an alliance with an ancient and honorable organization. There is much honor in what we have done, and so much of it belongs to you for your years of service."
As she plays, the land around her begins to move, as if building itself. She continues, adding each of your personal accomplishments to the Lantern Lodge's list. "If you know of the mission, I purchased the supposedly haunted mansion of Hinojai to garner the attention of the Way of the Kirin so long ago. My gambit payed off after all, as here is where we are today. If it were not for you, we would not be where we are." After the meal and roughly an hour-and-a-half of the playing, a large building has constructed itself which largely resembles the meeting hall of the Absalom lodge (though with a Tien architectural style.) Without setting foot inside herself, she bows and motions for you to enter. "I would like to congratulate you on being the first Pathfinders to step foot into the first room of the new regional headquarters for the Pathfinder Society. I have a few last tasks to conclude before the headquarters is operational. While our accomplishments thus far are great, even greater work lies ahead for me, and I cannot split my attention between the whole of Tian Xia and interests in the Inner Sea. I shall always support you when you are in Tian Xia, but your oaths and obligations to me are now officially fulfilled. Do not think that you are being abandoned. If you wish to seek a new patron, you will receive a letter of introduction penned by my own hand. If you wish to continue to serve me, do so by working alongside your fellow Pathfinders and sending me news of your travels. For now, rejoice, for we are victorious!"
End Scenario! though closing credits/stinger dialogue/scenes can be had, if desired.

Sharna is glad to have been useful to her allies and to the Society. And glad to have gotten a whole new variety of flora to experiment upon and study! She replaces some ginger before they leave Goka.
"It has been a pleasure traveling with all of you. Perhaps our missions shall bring us together again, someday," she says with a bow to Krunch, Sebastian, and Han.
She suggests their Mook apply to Amara Li for a job-- she is down two servants, after all....
*credits music roll*

"I'm free? I'm free!" Han however starts thinking about his new situation. "Perhaps this Pathfinder work is not so bad. I should stay then, even if that witch is not making me do so."
"Indeed." Is his response to Sharna.
