Do I? Doest that actually work... from Aarkess? If so use the extend rod and cast Bull's Strength on Kilthan...

and... if there is time before we jump into the next room, cast an extended Spiritual Weapon spell...

Are you re-casting enlarge person and bless to go into the next room? 1 min/level or shorter buffs will be gone before approaching the next room unless re-cast and remember enlarged will be squeezing in the pathways

Kilthan turns to the Shaman, his tone almost mechanically cold as he tries to hold back his anger, "Since we've lost our witch, are there any spells you could help us with -- to strengthen us as we fight for you?"

Better to move into position and enlarge in place, to avoid squeezes. The downside is that I'm losing both enlarge and lead blades... unless someone lets me use the level 1 PoP (if they're not using it)

"Other than some modest healing, there is no spell that can help you in this fight. If I am to help bring back your friend, I will need to prepare the ritual. I will also free those two who are bound and injured and help with their wounds while you face the king."

With that he asignals the two lizardfolk with him to grab the bound prisoners and take Aarakess's body with him back to his chamber to prepare the ritual for later.

You head down the path as you move around a slight bend in the path it branches to the south and open up into King Shukak's chamber. As you approach the throne room of King Shukak you see this large room has a raised throne-like area at the north end built out of wood and large animal bones; the ground in front of the throne is stained with old blood. A small pool of water to the west of the throne splashes with small fish.

Near the pool of water is a pair of lizardmen with bone daggers to the throats to two soldiers tied up and unconscious from injuries. Hanging above the pool is a crudely made bird cage that holds a monkey inside.

Reclining on the throne is a strong looking lizardfolk with a mottled pattern of black scales and forward sweeping horns. Quick as a flash of lightning he grabs a beautifully made trident as he leaps to his feet and snarls loudly, "Welcome assassins of Magnimar to my throne room. Now I will have proof of Magnimar's evil to show to the other tribes!"

Note, the shrubbery in front of you will prevent charging

I think he has to "uncloak" to aid another. :)

FYI, Justin your hasted speed only goes to 40' since you have heavy armor, per the PRD on haste All of the hasted creature's modes of movement (including land movement, burrow, climb, fly, and swim) increase by 30 feet, to a maximum of twice the subject's normal speed using that form of movement. However it is a 35' move to flank with Tobar after he does aid another which does reveal him. Next round will be the last round of haste. (2 rounds to get here, 3 combat rounds)

The lizarman king continues his attack on Kilthan attempting to take him out this turn landing two heavy blows.

Question, just to be sure it wasn't a typo -- was the damage bonus on the second attack supposed to be 4 higher than the first?

Yes. He has the fighter two handed archetype and used backswing

Note to self. Avoid dying right before the BBEG fight where Misfortune and Evil Eye hexes are most useful.

No problem -- was just checking.... Also, I didn't mention it during teh attack, but if we're underground, the critical hit from the Klar should have done 2 more damage because of Kilthan's Tunnel Fighter trait

Aye. And that Haste, too. The bonus to AC and the extra attack would have certainly been our friend.

Yeh, by round 3 I would have dropped his AC and attacks by 2. And would have probably tried to Misfortune him. He is a beast, but every bit of negative would have helped.

Round 3
Kilthan stumbles slightly under the massive blows from the lizard king, and winces with pain again. It's like I have no defenses against his attacks.... I can't defeat him. I just hope I can take a big enough piece of him that Justin, Tobar and Dryn can do it after I fall. See you in a few, Aara... He tightens his grip on his weapons and shouts, "Angradd!" as he lashes out again, hoping against hope that he might, somehow, land a lucky blow and survive.
