The wall opens up to the south revealing a secret door and the other Dryn'taka standing there. Another Justin comes out of it and moves up to the real Justin swinging his longsword. (Provoking an AoO, remember the -2 to attack)
From behind, a Rohara and Skorhald come through the door from the hallway and attack their likeness with longswords. (Skorhald 'D' provokes an AoO from Skorhald and Rohara, remember the -2 to attack against your likeness)
Justin is missed by both of his doubles...
Skorhald's double closes and lands a hit with his longsword.

As the clones continue to pour into the room Rohara strikes out at the double of Skorhold with her magical morningstar as it passes her by to get to it's 'real' counterpart. The weapon connects into the side of the creature with a sickening thud
She then calls upon her goddess, "Grant us your boon in this time of need and hinder our foes that we may prevail!" As The cleric casts the spell she does so with some caution. The magical spell goes off without incident.
She looks to Skorhold and Aarakess, "If you both want out of these confined quarters let me know. I am able to move us magically, should it be required."
Justin does not like fighting copies of himself. He has to look at the holy symbol he does not want to fight against.
Justin lunges as the likeness closes and misses. "These new ones are harder!"
Justin steps to the east (right) then goes to town against the doubles of him starting with the eastmost (rightmost) one. He is determined to stop the blasphemous use of Iomedae holy gear.
Justin lays to waste his doubles hitting them in the neck and groin furious that they would blaspheme the Inheritor so!
Then he heals his wounds somewhat.
Seeing the new enemies appear behind her and Rohara, Aarakess calls once more on her patron causing glittering specs of dust to fall from the ceiling.

-->Centered at the lower left corner of the square below/left of the "D" dopplegangers. This should get both "D"s and miss Rohara. Effectively it will fill the whole room and since it lasts 7 rounds, I assume it might blind any others that decide to enter from that door.
Skorhald, one of the attacks hit. Sorry, I should have made a post about it but I did Mark it down for damage. We in a rush trying to get today's post in before heading out to the funeral.
"A sword! You expected someone to believe you were me while wielding a sword!"
The dwarf continues chanting as he draws his chain in for close quarter combat and courses arcane energy into the ball at the end. He then swings at his own doppleganger with apparent disgust. His disgust and the adjustment of his weapon may have sent his attack wide, however.

Justin lands 2 devastating blows on the version of himself with a longsword that just came in . He then lands a third hit that while not as powerful as the first two, is enough to take out the duplicate of himself that pretended to be confined to a chair. He then lunges over and bites the Anala duplicate.
Rohara and Skorhald thump the duplicate Skorhald as he passes then she casts prayer while Skorhald adjusts his Dorn Derger and misses. Aarakess casts glitterdust . The duplicate Rohara is affected by the dust, her eyes apparently not working.
Kilthan snarls and attacks again, this time not giving up his power for accuracy, drawing from the magic and hoping that imitator's confidence is shaken by Aara's hex.

However, back in the other room, the two doppelgangers attack their likenesses.
The Rohara duplicate swings twice at the real Rohara, but cannot connect.

The fake Dryn'taka throws a bomb at Justin after the display of martial prowess he just displayed. Throw is not a good one, but it is hard to miss such a big target. The bomb explodes putting Justin on fire, with Jagdbach, kithan, and Skorhald all getting splashes with some of the combustible material.

He rushes forward, stepping around the real Dryn to get at the one at the door and slams his Klar into her with all his weight, hoping to knock her prone.

Kilthan moves up slamming the fake Dryn against the wall behind her, and to the ground. Jagdbach follows right behind him and moves past Kilthan taking a bite out of her arm.
Round 4
Aarakess stares at the fake Skarhald making the creature realize that its short dwarvish form is slow is much slower and harder to defend that it thought.

Rohara looks at Skorhold and sees that he is not doing so well, "Let the Desna heal your wounds." A bluish light flows from Rohara into Skorland's wounds knitting some of the wounds closed.
Justin burns as he slides to hit both the fake bard and alchemist.
"I fell in a pit, got hit by a doppleganger, and set on fire by a Dryn bomb. Rohara, what does it take to get healing?"
Fyi, Dryn # C is still bound in the chair, in case that changed your mind
"Kind of busy with our own... friends out here. Mayhaps next time you will wait for healing before rushing into a room of enemies?" The woman calls back to the palalizard. "Be there... soon."
Kilthan calls over his shoulder, "You know, if you can't heal yourself, Justin, we might think you've been replaced by a shifter too."
Justin steps over and connects with a pair of blows, the second one destroying the duplicate of Skorhald, its form changing to that of the grey skinned humanoid.
Not sure if I have gone this round or not. Aarakess will EE Hex the blind Rohara duplicate for -2 AC.
EE Hex - -2 AC for 9 rounds, Will DC19 reduces to 1 round.
Move: Cackle
The dwarf has stopped chanting, but you still feel the lingering effects of his words. Seeing many of the foes around him fall, he steps quickly towards the false Rohara and swings with his shortened ball and chain.

The prone version of Dryn'taka stands then retreats down the hall through the doorway. Beyond her you see a dizzying array of light and reflections. Poilshed metal mirrors stretch from floor to ceiling that make it seem like a maze of endless corridors and reflected images.

Kilthan rushes down the hall after the copy, his magically-enhanced speed allowing him to catch up. He snarls, "If you won't stay down, then, by Angradd, I'll put you down.", and lashes out with his waraxe.

Jadgbach races in behind Kilthan, snarling as his way is blocked by the two-footer, and stays ready to lunge forward as soon as he can.
Yup, I will hex the blinded "D", then move back into the room with the others.
"Bleed and die, turn to run,
We will not quit 'til battle's done!
Deceit revealed, the price you pay,
Victory will be ours this day!"
Skorhald chants loudly as he swings again with his ball-and-chain, keeping the morale of the party at its peak for pursuit of the fleeing doppleganger.

Round 5 Justin
Justin frees the copy of Dryntaka from the chair after making her name the horse he gave her that lasted less than a day.
Rohara also makes the choice to move away from one of the last combatants. she moves just inside the the next room and can see now the large Palalizard and his many wounds.
"May Densa bless you with her healing, Justin." she says as she calls to her Goddess. Her hand again is shrouded in a purplish energy that flows about Justin and begins to close his many wounds.
The blind duplicate of Rohara continue to swing blindly, this time at Skorhald. One swing looks deadly, if only had it been in the right place.

Elsewhere, the Dryn'taka duplicate smiles at Kilthan and she says, "Not this time, Kilthan. Come find me in my master's room, then it will all make sense."
Dryn'taka moves away down the mirrored hallway and disappears.
Skorhald swing and finishes off the last doppelganger before it can do any more damage. Dryn'taka bound to the chair easily answers Justin's question and is relieved you have rescued her!
Combat Over
Kilthan holds up a hand and says, "Jagdbach, calm." and returns the waraxe to his belt, slipping the bow from his shoulder. He pauses for a moment, then looks into the room, takes a full pull and fires at the nearest mirrored surface, partially out of frustration, and partially to see what happens.
He then sighs, turning to rub the badger's head, and then heads back to the room, standing at the entrance to the door.
"The one that could throw bombs got away -- there's a mirrored room over there, and it's just disorienting enough to stop a body from running...."
He reaches back to his quiver for an arrow and scans the room for anything hostile, then stops as his gaze falls on the Dryn recently untied from the chair and says evenly, "The other one had bombs, and said something about her master... as if she were the real Dryn but under mental control."
He raises the bow, "How 'bout you, then? Make with the alchemy, 'cause I'm damned sick of copycats, and it seems like just asking questions ain't enough."
"Well fought! I am used to having a bit more distance between myself and my foes, but perhaps I best be finding better armor soon as well."
Skorhald proceeds to use his wand to recover from his wounds.
Kilthan keeps the bow raised as the others start struggling to free Dryn from the real shackles, lowering it only slowly.
"They've got my head spinning with all this. Part of me wants to scream that's how to plant another fake Dryn that we'd all trust...."
He sighs and slides the arrow back into its quiver and the bow back over his shoulder. "Jagdbach could use some healing.... and, while we're healing people, a bunch of this blood seems to be mine."
He then turns to Dryn and says, "Sorry for the threat. We really need some magic that lets us see though these disguises before we all go mad."
Dryn rubs her wrists after being untied. "I know it might seem like I may be a fake, but I'm the real Dryn this time, really! They captured me the first night we were here and I was hooked up to this huge machine. It was horrible, it ripped though my thoughts and memories, I really really didn't like. It was through there I think . There was a man on a throne with a covered face, I couldnt' tell who he was. He seemed like he was in charge. I dont' have my alchemy bag or I'd make up whatever you wanted me to. Please beleive me, Kilthan!" Dryn's eyes water up, the mistrust of her friends wearing on her.
"We stay together and finish together. We all need healing--Rohara, any channeling left?"
Kilthan sighs, "I believe you, but then, that's what you'd want even if you weren't you.... I'm so bad at this."
He looks to Aara, Skorhald and Rohara, "Seriously? There's no magic that helps with this?"
He sighs again and takes the light mace off his belt, "I don't have a crossbow for you, but you should at least be able to defend yourself...and we'll make sure you keep safe." He turns his head to his furry friend and says, in Dwarven, "Jadgbach, guard Dryn."
"Honest, she probably knows everything I do, so anything I could tell you wouldn't matter. I wish I could do more to convince you, but I can't. Thank you for at least putthing this much faith in me, Kilthan. But if we go after her again and she does have my skills, it's the alchemy bag to go for."
Kilthan shrugs and says with a smile, "What can I say? I'm just a dumb dwarf-raised elf.... But I'm thinking you should probably put on a suit of that studded.... Can you use one of those shields?"
Skorhald starts waving his wand at all who are injured, jump in line as needed.
And Justin takes another charge.
