My main objection with knowledge checks and not taking 10, especially of the one that was just posted, is that it is so much cooler to reveal tidbits of things that enrich the story. So many times when I run an AP there is such a rich history and background for so many things that have no way of being revealed.

Hit Points: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Favored class bonus: 3rd level spell known: Righteous Vigor
Skill Ranks: Intimidate (1), Know: Planes (1), Know: Religion (1), Perception (1), Stealth (2)
Feat: Combat Reflexes
1st level spell: Heightened Awareness
4th level spell: Stoneskin
Rowena Lordail
Hit Points: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Skill Ranks: +1 to Acrobatics, Perception, Stealth; +2 to Sense Motive
Feat: Improved Two-Weapon Fighting
Other: gaseous form quiggong ability
I think with Kelkzar picking up Combat Reflexes, this party just came online as seriously, seriously lethal against corporeal humanoids. Therefore, from now on, all we'll ever fight are flying smoke creatures.
For her feat, it was either Improved TWF or Spinning Throw, which lets her use Improved Ki Throw at range, taking down opponents further away from her like bowling pins. I think I'll go for the reliable utility of the extra attack per round.

[dice=Quintus L11 HP]1d4 + 4
Skill ranks: +1 to Knowledge (Religion), Spellcraft, Healing
Feat: open to suggestions.
It isn't sexy, but Extra Channel?
Or look at Bless Equipment for something different.

Since Quintus is starting to get some reasonable offensive magic, I was considering Spell Penetration as well.

+1 Level in Wizard
Add language: Giant.
+ Feat: Craft Staff (at 13th, I am thinking to take Staff-Like Wand).
+ 1 3rd, +1 6th per day
+2 6th level spells to spellbook: Greater Heroism, Summon Monster VI
+1d3 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 hit points
+1 round of Foretell
+11 Skill Points: Perception +1 (from headband), Spellcraft +1, Knowledge (arcana) +1, Linguistics +1, Knowledge (religion) +1, Knowledge (planes) +1, Knowledge (nobility) +1, Knowledge (geography) +1, Knowedge (history) +1, Knowledge (dungeoneering) +1, Knowledge (engineering) +1
I'm still debating spells a bit. Any suggestions for good sixth level wizard spells? I don't often get to play at these levels.
Rowena Lordail
I didn't think you could learn opposed school spells as one of your two freebies.
Disintegrate is a classic, as is chain lightning. Greater dispel magic is always practical and undeath ward looks like a good situational spell to use with a bonded item.

Level 11:
+1 HD: 1d5 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
+1 BAB, +1 iterative attack;
Aura of Justice (!);
+1 lvl 3 spell per day;
Divine Bond +3;
4 skill points: Diplomacy, Knowledge (Nobility), Perception, Sense Motive.
1 Feat: Improved Vital Strike.

Depends... Am I aiming for antipaladin?

Looking for thoughts...
I was contemplating this prestige class for Rowena. She would need to take the Deific Obedience feat as a pre-req. Has anybody ever experimented with any of these Deific Obedience prestige classes?
Also, would Rowena be allowed to take Deific Obedience at this level and pick up a level in this class now?
Trevor the Yellow
Can't help. Sorry.
GM Blood
Since you get a feat this level you can take the feat as the pre-req to take the class.
I haven't really looked much at the class, but following the Obedience seems hard to maintain. I am not really clear what class abilities you lose if you cannot do it.
You also need to find a deity that makes sense for your character. Since you follow the empyreal way one of the Empyreal Lords makes the most sense, or even Sarenrae with Quintus being a follower and her being an ex Empyreal.
Check out the Deity Obediences at this site under the deity's name if you need to see what they are for specific deities.

Actually, I think I'll pass. I had been looking for someway to get Disable Device into the party. Originally, I thought a Trapper ranger, but while the ranger class would be cool for her, I don't really see her as a trapper. The Evangelist would let her get Disable Device, but not the ability to deal with magical traps. She would be the best person, however, to pick up that skill. Her ability scores are good for it. If folks think it necessary, I could look into it for next level.
Plus, the boons for Korada are rather boring. +4 to saving throws versus lawful or chaotic spells? How often does that really come up?
Kelkzar Redjaw
I think I looked at this at one time for Kelkzar. Some of the higher level ones are pretty awesome for Ragathiel, but I think I felt like I was giving up too much in other areas (probably because I was looking at Mystery Cultist to get access at lower levels). He'd probably pretty regularly perform the obedience on this campaign.
His obedience would seem to work a little funny since they are all supposed to take an hour to perform. I wonder if he is expected to perform a ritual after his kills the first proven wrongdoer of the day? Probably is something I should consider picking up down the road.
Obedience
Slay a proven wrongdoer in Ragathiel’s name. It is not enough for the sacrifice to have an evil heart or evil intentions; the sacrifice must have committed evil or unlawful deeds. Gain a +4 sacred bonus on saving throws against spells and effects cast by evil creatures.
Boons
1: Virtuous Combat (Sp) bless weapon 3/day, litany of righteousnessUC 2/day, or magic vestment 1/day
2: Retribution (Su) You gain a sacred bonus equal to half your HD on damage rolls made with slashing weapons against the last creature to have physically wounded you within the last 24 hours.
3: Pure Soul (Sp) You can cast holy aura on yourself once per day. In addition to the effects of the spell, you gain DR 10/good and cold iron and you treat any weapon in hand as a +5 holy weapon for the duration of the effect.

You could do extra trait feat for 2 traits and take the trap finding one from Mummy's Mask and one other
Oooh... I have to think on this.
The Heavy Hitter regional trait doesn't specify a region, other than the implication that it's Tian Xia related because it comes from Dragon Empires primer. Nothing about getting +1 to damage from unarmed strikes really has to be specific to there though.
Picking up that and the Trap Finder trait... I might go with that, after all. She'll have a hard time with it all until she can pick up a thieves' toolkit, but the party will have somebody able to pick locks and deal with magical traps. I guess she was studying Jirin more closely than we first thought.
GM Blood
I'm ok with saying you or someone had some lockpicks in a pouch as a spare for Jirin when she was in the party and never took them out. (either forgot or for sentimental reasons).
I also don't have a problem with the other trait, fluff is easily changed and a +1 to damage for you will not be earth shattering! Might be awhile to catch up on skill points for disable device though.

Please note I'll be mostly away from a computer starting tomorrow. Bot me as needed.

Who grabs the wand?
Kelkzar Redjaw
Definitely an option. I'd been thinking more of a short term pre-buffing option since it lasts 3 mins. Since its touch, you'd have to get up to them. Quintus is sometimes up, sometimes back, but Trevor is pretty much guaranteed to be in the fray.
Rauno Redpath
Things are starting to get back to normal for me. Work will likely still be crazy for a few more days, but smooth out after that.
I have updated his profile and his spells memorized. For sixth level spells, I went with Disintegrate and Greater Dispel Magic (Thanks Ro!). I did go with memorizing three knocks in case we hit things Rowena doesn't feel comfortable picking or exceeds her take 20.
Thanks for your patience!

This weekend would have been my first Saturday home game after Age of Worms has completed. However, one of my friends sold his house/bough a new one so will be moving next week, and his mother is also having a retirement party tomorrow so much drinking will be involved all around. (His mom is like a second mother to us all)
Currently we are looking at some sort of piratey game and looking at using the Kirthfinder rules.
Trevor the Yellow
Apologies to everyone. I have been slammed at work and at home with very little time to post. This is very frustrating to me and I want to do better. Lets just plan on next week with no posts again and then we'll pick up on the 15th. *Cross Fingers*
Thanks for the heads up!
