She then checks every kid for scratches or bruises or worse. She heal every kid in need of healing.
"Who wants to help me cooking some stew for all of us?"

"Alright. Then come with me. We need to fetch all the stuff from the cart." She leads the kids outside and tell sthem what to take inside into the kitchen. As all of them have their hand full and are carrying stuff she asks Carl "Would you please go to the garrison and get officer Kasadei to send a patrol to collect this criminal?"

"I could do that." Niamh says and disappears to bring Kasadei Gwenwhyfar's wish.
She walks to one guard and let him bring her to officer Kasadei. "Good oh, which time of the day do we have?"
"I'm here to tell you from Gwenhwyfar Yongisdottir that you should send a patrol to fetch some criminals at the old temple of Szeneare. No Szenerae? I don't know for sure what her name is."

"Good. Then please carry this one into the room to the other and guard them until they are collected by the guard."
Gwenhwyfar walks into the room where the other thug lies on the ground. She checks on him and as he is not dead she takes away all his weapons and heals him.

As he comes back to consciousness she says "Shhhh. Just stay there on the ground."
She nod to Carl and Ernard and goes to the kitchen to cook a stew togeter with the children. She explains them how to wash and cut the vegetables and to put them into the large pot.

"Maybe we try something else. We didn't bring Abomentolor and he'd be really upset if we start a big fire without him being here. Could you create a distraction so that I could spy on them inside in the resulting commotion?" Tauriell asks Darthdy.

"You know, it would be much easier for both of us if you would tell me all that information in some structured manner instead of me tearing every single answer out of you." Kasadei replies.
She then calls a patrol officer "Officer. Escort this halfling here to the abandoned shrine of Sarenrae in Underbridge. There are two creepers to arrest."
To Niamh she adds "If that's all I wish you a nice day."

Gwenhwyfar is delighted. "Good afternoon. And thank you for coming. Please follow me." She leads to the bedroom where Carl and Ernard guard the thugs. "Here are the two who use these kids as work slaves. Would you take them with you please?"

Tauriell |

"Ok. I'm going to ride that to the Gull." Tauriell climbs down to the road and places herself on the pony. "That one is a bit small for me to ride." She gets off the pony again and walks towards the Gull.

As the entrance comes near, Tauriell says "Count to ten and then send the wolfs in." she ducks behind the pony, downs the potion of invisibility and then runs towards the entrance and up the stairs.

The entrance to the Gull is some 20 feet above sea level and the way to the stairs lead through some shallow water. Therefore Tauriell leaves wet footprints where ever she walks. But outside is no one to notice that. At the top of the stairs is a large entrance into a corridor set back are a few thugs guarding the entrance.
As the wolves are faster than Tauriell they reach the top almost simultaneously.
Initiative Thug 1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Initiative Thug 2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Initiative Thug 3: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
The thugs draw their short swords and wait for the attackers to come.

Tauriell would love to stab a few of these thugs but she braces herself and moves past them to explore the Gull.

She moves through the corridor and looks into all open doors and entrances carefully avoiding to run into someone.

The Gull's interior is similar to the Crow. It is some rooms and then a flight of stairs leading upwards. On this level the rooms are filled with tables and chairs or straw beds. All in all there might be about 15 thugs around on this level.
The three thugs slash at the first wolf coming up.

But only one of them gets a hit in before they are attacked themselves. One thug evades the bite. The other two get to feel the wolves' teeth and are thrown down.
The one still standing shouts "We're under attack!"

Tauriell gets concerned as she watches the entrance as it will get rather hard to get out unnoticed again if everything is clogged up with fighting thugs.
She quickly moves up the stairs to check on the next level.

The next level has mostly locked doors. Some of them recently added. The large passages boarded over and normal sized doors set in. What they contain is of course hidden behind the doors but with the smell of meat and a thug carrying a crate with food around it might be a level used for storage. The design of the level is the same as below. One long corridor leading from the one stairs to the next with two rooms on either side.
One thug stands up and slashes at his wolf again.

The other tries, but fails and stabs his wolf from the ground

The third level of the Gull has workshops installed in the rooms. The corridor is patrolled by eight thugs who shout commandos into the rooms now and then. In the rooms are children toiling. They are washing and ironing the laundry. In another one they are sewing new clothes. One room is filled with straw and has a bucket in the corner as a toilet.

The thugs are not happy that the fight that looked pretty easy now has turned serious again.
