"Are you ok? She just meowed."
"Meow, meow, meooow, meow, purrrrr." Destinée says stretching herself on Gwenhwyar's arm.
"If you understand just meow, then I must have learned cat speak." Gwenhwyfar replies while stroking the cat.
"Are you sure you are ok?"
Gwenhwyfar pauses for a moment to think about it and answers "I think I'm fine. It's just that I understand Destinée now."
She embraces the cat and cuddles her.
"MEOW!"
"Sorry gal." Gwenhwyfar says and puts the cat down on the floor.
"Well this just keeps getting more and more interesting."
"Yes it is. But we're still none the wiser about the source of my power. We now have a label to put on me but nothing more."
"But we have a new quest. We have to find a cleric of Sarenrae willing to reopen the shrine. Or we talk my mum into moving to Magnimar." Gwenhwyfar suggests.
At the guest house

After there are suspicious noises are heard for quite some time Abomentolor decides to check what the noise in front of his door is about. He opens the door and half of the stones slide into his room covering his feet up to his ankles.
Abomentolor walks over the pile of stones and walks over to Niamh's door. He opens it and tells "I'll stay here until that is removed again." he states pointing to the stones. Then he moves inside and closes the door.
"I doubt your mum would enjoy it here would she?"
"I'm going to fetch me some popcorn. Someone else interested?" she asks as she gets some from the kitchen and then places herself comfortably on a chair and her feet on the table to watch the comedy that's going to unfold.
"Then you prefer my company?" Niamh replies smiling and twinkels at Abomentolor.
"I'm not sure. She would enjoy being close to us for sure. But there are a lot of people in Sandpoint she would miss. But I think the thing scaring her most would be if we offer her to be head of a shrine here." Gwenwhyfar thinks aloud.
"But it also wouldn't help much. My mum wouldn't be able to consecrate the shrine again."
Abomentolor ignores Niamh and jumps on the bed lying down to continue his nap.
Daya screams as Abomentolor wakes her with jumping onto her belly.
Abomentolor casts vanish, turns invisible and flees through the window. Once outside he starts cursing "There are far to much women in there. No sane gnome would stay in that company."
"Well. That was a short visit." Niamh determines with raised eyebrows. "Are you okay?" She asks Daya.
Daya nods but holds her belly. "What was that?"
"That was just Abomentolor. Maybe you should go to Gwenhwyfar when she comes back." Niamh answers and looks at the door. "We could ask Tauriell if she wants to play something with us." She slips through the door taking Daya at her hand. "Tauriell? Do you want to... No wait. What would you prefer to play with us?"
"I'd like to play catch with some thugs. You go together through some bad part of town and once the thugs swallow the bait and try to rob you I 'catch' them once and for all." Tauriell suggests.
"All right. But I will get some money too when you get that from the ... woman you get that from!" Niamh replies with a mischievous grin.
"Oh. You meant to bring them to Officer Kasadei?" Tauriell asks. "That would only be helpful if we catch someone from their wanted list. Some thug from a thieves guild isn't worth being dragged to the garrison."
"You want to KILL them?" Daya asks shocked and looks at Tauriell as if she were an alien.
Tauriell is a bit surprised. "Let me explain it to you again."
"You are walking through town. You are a nice woman and have done no wrong. And while you are doing that someone jumps out of a dark alley pointing the pointy end of a sword at you and demands to get all your money. Or you, as an alternative. You already made that experience. You remember?"
"What would you suggest I do in such a situation?" Tauriell asks Daya.
Daya replies nothing to that but still looks a bit troubled.
Niamh takes her purse and disappears. She searches some coppers in her room to fill the purse. As she comes back she tells Daya and Tauriell "I'm ready. Let us go."
"But if I make a hobby of that I need a disguise. Any suggestions?"
"I think a hat would be good to hide my hair. Or some face mask. Gloves would be good. We need to go shopping first."
Tauriell decides to take only light equipment this time. The mithral short sword and her blade. "Let's go. There is a nice store in Capital District where we could get most of the stuff."
"I want a costume too!" Niamh says excited. "Imagine me with some cat ears, of course no real ones, white gloves and white knee-length boots, of course my knee length. And some black trousers and a black jacket. And the boots should be some featherfall ones and the gloves some extra good swimming and climbing ones. Do you have any ideas for a cool tail? And maybe whiskers?"
The shop 'Needful Things' is some kind of general store but for the better situated. You can buy most mundane items there but they have more of the finer goods and less farm tools. Also everything is really tidy and sorted and the employees do all wear a shop uniform with their name embroidered below the name of the shop on their left chest.
"For starters you should leave your hat at home if you don't want to be recognized. And what would be your secret identity? Kitty Cat?"
Tauriell approaches some sales person and tells her list of things. "Hi. I'm in need of some black leather gloves, black leather jacket, black leather trousers and some cool black hat."
"Yes madam." Mrs. Miller replies and hurries to fetch the things the elven woman asked for. After she collected the things she brings them to Tauriell.
Niamh gives Tauriell a glare. "You haven't answered my questions!"
"You could use the make up Abomentolor gave you to hide your face"
Niamh puts her hat off her head and runs back to the guest house to leave it there. She runs back and catches her breath which stops her talking.
"Yeah, yeah. If you take a tail that is fastened at you good enough it would be another handle to hold you or throw you around. Or are you aiming to kill everyone with an overdose of cuteness?"
Tauriell tries on the gloves and the jacket and takes a look at the hat and the trousers. "I guess that will do. How much is that?"
Niamh gives Tauriell another glare. "Yeah. A tail ... that lugs on the bottom .... isn't what I had in mind. ..Do you think there is a scroll of getting a real tail and whiskers for an hour ... or so?"
"That is eight gold." Mrs. Miller replies.
Tauriell counts out the coins "Thank you."
"The spell you are searching for is beast shape." Tauriell replies with a smirk.
"I have a better idea! You could just use your illusion shard." Niamh smiles at Tauriell and gives her a sugar-on-top-look.
"Like I have nothing better to do than concentrate on your butt to hold an illusion tail in place." Tauriell replies. Looking at Niamh's behind Tauriell adds "On second thought ..."
"Do you need something from this shop too or can we go now?" Tauriell asks. "You might want to put Daya in something a bit more protective than this revealing dress."
Niamh looks at Daya and then back to Tauriell. "Could you submit the money? I have only coppers here to make sure IF you're not fast enough it won't be much money that is robbed. I'll give it back to you when we're at the guest house again, yes?"
"Sure." Tauriell replies. "And for you I'll do it without charging interest."
"What a source of bounteousness. Well then Daya." Niamh says with a smile and asks for a studded leather armor. She takes one of her daggers and hands it over to Daya. "Here you are."
"And what shall Daya do with that toothpick?" Tauriell asks.
"All right. Which weapon should she take then?" Niamh asks Tauriell.
Daya just stands there and listens.
"One of the correct size?" Tauriell suggests.
"Hah, hah." Niamh replies and takes the dagger back and takes one in Daya's size out of a shelf.
Mrs. Miller brings a studded leather armour for Daya. "That costs 25 gold."
Daya takes the armor and puts it on. She steps on place to get used to the armor and then takes the dagger.
"Here the 25 and two more for the dagger I guess." Tauriell says handing the coins over.
"Can we go now?" she asks and leaves the shop. Once outside she continues "What will your secret identity be? I guess I'll go by black widow. I just need someone to embroider a spider logo on that clothes."
