The woman nods. "Yes. The heat they radiate powers our forges. Come, I know a safe route through the city."

Following her directions, you soon find yourself carefully navigating a wide alleyway. A light mist crawls across the ground, and over the sounds of the light rain that's begun, you can hear the crackle of a fire and muffled sobbing. Up ahead, his back turned, a Hungering Legionnaire stares out into the street, his axe in one hand and a javelin in another.

"You there!" the big orc roars. "This is the only warning you're gunna get. Throw down your arms and make yourself scarce now while you still can under your own power. I've had just about enough of your Legion."

The legionnaire looks you up and down cockily. "Hey! There's a couple more over here!" Behind him, you see a half-dozen soldiers - and a trio of devils - step into view.

As you grow to mammoth proportions, the soldiers back up - unsure of what they just got themselves into. The devils, on the other hand, lick their lips and lunge forward with unholy swiftness.

How long has it been since the run-in with the remorhaz? I assume it's been less than 8 hours so the fire resistance from that fight would still be up.

Skaar growls in pain as the demon's fangs find their way into the meat of his shoulder. Before the beast can attack again, he smashes it with a huge fist.

If the brutal strike hits, the demon takes a -2 penalty to attacks for a turn.

When it attacks again, Skaar will spend an attack of opportunity to activate shoulder roll for an additional +2 bonus to AC. If the attack misses, Skaar gets a free attack.

Your enormous fist smashes the first devil flat into the snow, and you hear a cheer. As you step forward to meet the other devils, you see a makeshift barricade barring entrance to the main hall. The defenders there, emboldened by your appearance, begin launching arrows and javelins at the enemy legionnaires. Undeterred, the two remaining devils attack you once again.

Sorry it's taken me so long to update, but I just realized that I've let myself get extremely burnt-out. As such, I've decided to take a posting hiatus so I can get my mojo back.
