Aleister Sune |

Aleister returns to the others with information on their targets. Five men, three of which have just started to rest it would seem, and the identity of Sir Balin.
After his report the Halfling asks. "So how do you want to do this? I might be able to get one or two in their sleep before they realize anything is wrong."

Eri la Grave |

She thinks for a minute, "Well...it sounds like in a way it could be a tough fight...but I really don't see any way around fighting them to get the queen back. Ravan seems pretty good with her fire, so setting them ablaze might be an option too. And Gio has his talents....so we're not horribly outnumbered. We should try to approach from behind as quietly as we can. The three of us can kind of stand back and see if you can sneak up on them to reduce their number a bit...and then we can all out attack. I'll turn into my lovely killer self before we leave so I'll be a little faster if we have to jump in right away....what do you think?" She asks him, wondering if a plan like that could work.

Eri la Grave |

I don't have stealth or anything so that's why I was thinking it might be best to hang back a little and see if you can take out one or two before they have a chance to notice us.

Aleister Sune |

"Well then follow me, this will be over before you know it." Aleister says before leading the group back toward their prey.
Once again taking 10 on stealth.

Eri la Grave |

Eri nods and transforms before they start stalking toward their soon to be victims. She stays a little behind the halfing so as not to ruin his chances of sneaking up on them.

GM Scary Ceiling Voice |

Aleister - In answer to you previous question, it's about mid-day, but with the tree cover it's a bit darker than that.
Even though the Halfling made it to the sleeping guards without being spotted, it was a little touch and go for a second.
Map is up. Dark Green = Trees, Tan = Road, Light Green = low foliage (Normal Terrain), Green = Shrubs (Difficult Terrain)

Aleister Sune |

Aleister lines up his Raiper and drives it home into the first of the unsuspecting guards.
Coup de Grace: 2d6 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (3, 2) + 2 + (3) = 10 DC 20 Fort or Die if still alive.

Aleister withdrawals his blade silently from the corpse and aims to strike another.
And another one gone: 2d6 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (1, 3) + 2 + (2) = 8
Like a Shadow: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23
Just in case.
And another one gone: 2d6 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (2, 6) + 2 + (1) = 11
Like a Shadow: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17

GM Scary Ceiling Voice |

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
As the Halfling finishes off the last guard, Sir Balin spots him. Drawing his blade, he pointed it at the Halfling, "In the name of the King, I place you under arrest for Murder."
The other guard nearly fell over turning around so fast. Quickly, he moved to the side of the wagon.
Aleister: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Eri: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Ravan: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Giordano: 1d20 ⇒ 19
Guard: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12
Sir Balin: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
Surprise Round: (Since Aleister's the only one spotted)
Eri, Gio, Sir Balin, Guard, Ravan, Aleister

Eri la Grave |

Glad that she had already changed into her beastly self before approaching she darts around from behind the trees, around some bushes and comes to stop directly in front of the other guard.
"Without lunch first? I don't think so." She says with a wicked grin while waving at her meal.
My land speed is 50 when in beast form, so I travel to U6 and wave a clawed hand at my next snack. Oh, and I avoided the pompous pig by skirting around the shrubs in front of us and going up that V line to get to the other guard.

It's all the same to me.
"Best of luck with that Balin." Aleister quips as Eri barrels into the fray. The Halfling moves next to Eri and with blinding speed strikes out.
Swift Action: Surprise Strike
Surprise Strike: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 8 + 1 = 28
Confirm?: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 8 + 1 = 28
Damage: 2d6 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (1, 6) + 2 + (5) = 14

Eri la Grave |

Yeah....and I'm totally cool with that, I just waiting to see if Ravan will set his stupid butt on fire first. I don't want to get in the way of her fun.

Ravanalonna |

Ravanalonna moves forward quickly, an almost imperious anger in her stride. "Balin, you sanctimonious waste of flesh, I'll make you suffer for EVERY daring to put your filthy hands on me! BURN!!"
With a fluid gesture, the sorceress sends a gout of flame forward to envelop the hates knight.
We be burnin': 2d4 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4
Move to T9 and light him up! Reflex DC16 for 1/2 damage.

Eri la Grave |

Looking at Ravan, and then turning her head to glare at the last remaining piece of garbage before them she says in almost a growl, "You dared to put your hands on her? You're not fit to touch the hem of her garment....you filthy pig." As her anger increases, she tries to keep herself from going into an all out rage. She concentrates on keeping her breathing steady so she doesn't lose control, but the anger on her face and in her voice is unmistakable.

GM Scary Ceiling Voice |

Technically only a move or standard action for the Surprise Round, but I'll let it slide this time given the history.
Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
As the flames engulf the Knight, he grits this teeth to keep from howling in pain.
Round 1:
Eri, Gio, Sir Balin, Ravan, Aleister
Balin - 38

Eri la Grave |

I need to look at my stuff before I do anything else, cuz I don't think I added the stuff we got to my character yet. There's been so much going on I forgot. Give me a few moments to look at things and then we'll get back to the mayhem, devastation, and disemboweling he deserves.

Eri la Grave |

I think our Al already took care of the devastation part, he was too neat about it to cause much mayhem.....but that's what I'm here for I guess? Just having one person to disembowel doesn't seem like much mayhem to me though....but it's a start. *smiles sweetly*

Eri la Grave |

My stupid ass computer is being a royal pain, but I think we got it all fixed. I didn't know if I should note it somewhere or not, but when she's in beastie form, she has an extra +1 to her AC from natural armor along with all her other nifty stuff. Now I will try to do something messy.

Eri la Grave |

Glad that she had come prepared with her axe in hand she steps up to the dog's face and swings it at him. There was no need for words now, only death.
Have at you!: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
It's only a flesh wound!: 1d12 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

GM Scary Ceiling Voice |

Couple more hits like that and he's in trouble.
Eri's blow landed solidly, punchering the Knight's armor. Despite coming up from behind, Sir Balin managed to get his sword up to block Gio's attack.
Quickly assessing his situation, Sir Balin took a quick step to Eri's side and swung with his sword.
A Hit: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
A Very Palpable Hit: 1d8 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12
Round 1:
Eri, Gio, Sir Balin, Ravan, Aleister
Balin - 24

Eri la Grave |

What if he added the +2 for flanking. He moved after I did, which means he would be flanking with me if I was in front, and he was in back. Also...is he still on fire? Oh...and ouchie. I'm gonna have to rip his guts out now. That hurt!

Eri la Grave |

Okay...I'm still confused. That's more than five feet, and if he moved...how am I still in front of him if we were flanking him? I think something got mixed up somewhere. Also...about the fire....?

Eri la Grave |

Okay...I got confused cuz I got all up in his face and stuff and then I thought Gio was at his back...not diagonally across from me...my bad. I've been filling out apps since one so my brain is having trouble seeing stuff now.
