I modified my background vignette the teensiest bit to make my family and living situations clearer. The relevant changes are to the paragraph beginning "'That's right, Vanimë." Fate, please tell me if there's anything else you need to know.

Dotting, I've got a couple days to try to get a submission together!

The Bozz is here for consideration. More goblins!

I swear, I'm going to get into a game with this little guy at some point! Somehow! Also, wow, we have a lot of goblins and kobolds... I smell an awesome game!

I still have to work on his background and write down his personality, but... I mean, he's a kobold with the draconic bloodline, what do you expect? He will demand everything of value from everyone, show off whenever possible, and probably run from trouble when it gets hard.

Moon Papa's Dwarven submission here to serve as a counterpoint to all these little gobos, haha.

Work in progress, I'll post again when i get it together.

All? But there are only two! Including yours, there are as many dwarf submissions.

Though I must say, it is good to see another who has left his chains behind.

Hmm, I suppose you're right about that...lol

Sorry, I have to withdraw. Have fun!

I'm back, earlier than I expected. Thank you for making those tables zimmerwald, and to answer your question, use Core Rulebook skills please. I'm able to look up Unchained classes for reference on the PF SRD easily, but not the skills. Hopefully this isn't a problem, just say something if it is.

no prob really, though, unchained skill are on the PFSRD as well, just listed under each skill individually, they also give access to "background skills" in addition to normal skills/level (IE, Know. history, sleight of hand, proffesions, etc)

...I feel real stupid now. Well, now that I CAN look up that for reference, feel free to use unchained skill rules.

haha, no worries, It took me a bit to realize that as well XD that said, the only class that REALLY benefits from it is rogue. other class only get a couple extra skill points out of it.

Okay, there's a disconnect going on here, probably because I forgot to define my terms. What Maia seems to be referring to is the skill unlock system, which opens up more uses for skills depending on how many ranks a character has in a skill. As rorek says, this system exists particularly for the benefit of the Rogue. In fact, the Unchained Rogue gets skill unlocks as part of her class features if she advances far enough in the class (spoiler: I won't be), while characters with other classes must have GM approval. Rorek is also correct to point out that the skill unlocks for each skill are given in their individual PFSRD entries. However, the skill unlock system, by itself, does not grant extra skill points.

What Gars and I were referring to is a system completely separate from skill unlocks, the background skills system.* This system does grant every character two extra skill points per level they can only spend on a limited list of skills. The list includes skills like Craft, Perform, Knowledge, and Profession; largely skills meant to be used in downtime, not in combat. You can read about background skills here.

What I think has happened here is that you have given your permission to use skill unlocks in play. And that's great, if not something that's going to come up immediately. But we can't be left "free," as individual players, to decide whether to use the background skills system or not. Because it grants extra resources, it should really be applied in a uniform way across all characters. After all, it would not be fair if I happened to get extra skill points just because I noticed your post before the deadline, while other players did not.

Because of the looming deadline, the simplest thing to do is probably to eschew the background skills system. Or if you want us to use it, to allow the chosen players to modify their characters for some short period after the deadline.

* For further confusion, Pathfinder Unchained presents even more optional skill systems beyond these, which you can read about here and here. To be clear, the skill unlock system, the background skill system, the consolidated skill system, and the grouped-skills system are separate, independent things. The background skill system, the consolidated skill system, and the grouped-skills system may not be implemented concurrently, because they change the skill list and/or the amount of skill points available to characters in incompatible ways. The skill unlock system may be implemented separately from any of these systems, or concurrently with any one of them, or not at all even if one of the other three systems is implemented.

P.S. You're welcome for the tables.

I finally got my background up. Just in time I guess.

Backstory:

Places like Riddleport are not for good people.
Jaecr spent the first 6 year of his life among his tribe. Untill the day that the humans came, she know only hard work and a loving tribe. His Tribe had been acused of attacking some caravan; work truly done by goblins. They killed most, but Jaecr and 6 others were sold like slaves to the cyphermages of Riddleport. Jaecr found herself in the care of Vili Roiat, a cyphermage in need of an assistant. Like many of the Cypher Lodge, or any place else in Riddleport, Vili was not kind. While most of Jaecr's work was in retrieving books and be a messenger girl, she was also used to "test" spells, potions, and magical artifacts. That left physical scars.
But in the ten years working under Vili, Jaecr also had access to vili's library and lab. Vili's work continued till the day Jaecr made a "mistake" that ended Vili's life. Now free Leo took what she could carry and went into the open city. But while free of Vili, she was still not free of Riddleport.

She had a hard time hiding from the Lodge and finding information of his lost bothers and sisters. Every path blocked and Lodge (or some other group?) getting closer to her, forced her to leave the city for a while. She left and headed south to allow things to cool down.

(Part of why her tribe was accused of the attack on a caravan was the people who lived remembered that the attackers were green.)

looks:

Jaecr stands 2'11 and 24 lbs. Her green scales can maker her stand out and reminds people of goblins.

Below her head, she is covered in scars from the "test" that were used on her.

So...after much thinking, here are the chosen players.
