This is just a quick interest check to see if there would be at least four people interested in playing the short module Nevermore from Kobold Press. The basic idea of the module is that you are awakened ravens from the Great Unkindness, a community of intelligent ravens living in an enormous tree. You have to use your wits and cunning to save your home from a mysterious threat the eldest raven has sensed closing in on the tree.
This is not a recruitment thread yet--I haven't really prepared the game or anything, I just want to see if there is enough interest for me to bother doing so. The module comes with four pre-generated characters--a bard, a sorcerer, a druid, and a rogue--and due to the shortness of the module (it's shorter than a PFS scenario) and the unusual nature of the PC's, I would probably insist on using the pre-gens.
So, would anyone be interested in being a raven for a bit?

Yes to this. I don't love the notion of using the pregens, but I'm very interested in the premise, so I'd be up for it. Probably Rogue or Bard.
I understand the sentiment. In fact, I debated back and forth on this, but I decided to go with the pregens for two reasons:
1) It's a really short module. There are maybe five encounters. It seems kind of silly to build a character for such a short game.
2) More importantly, part of the fun of the module is making do with a rather small amount of abilities. The pregens have been carefully crafted to require some cleverness in using what you have to solve the challenges at hand, without making it impossible. If I opened up character creation, it would be way too likely that someone's spell choices or such would mess this up. I don't really want to have to examine everyone's submissions for such possible problems for a brief game.

I prefer when people post at least once a day, but I'm flexible, particularly for short games like this. I'd imagine the adventure wouldn't take much more than a month to finish, unless people had a lot of fun just role-playing or were really slow about posting.
It sounds like there's probably at least four people who would play, so I'll start putting things together and make a real recruitment thread either later this week or next week.
