It was fun, thanks for running the game! I'm curious to see if EP2 ends up being less cumbersome; I'm sure the system is great if you really like to get granular with character builds and details and stuff but it can be a little rough if you haven't studied the system.

I agree. Thanks for GMing. Altered Carbon did wonders for me. I would like to see a less complicated system. When I first read the main book, I read page by page and hadn't gotten to the rules section yet. It was awesome to see that someone was running a game, and I was glad I could jump on. I still haven't read the book yet, though. haha
