Just updated the map, let me know if that is where Gauntlet and Pink-Eye wish to be, note that the area where there are two lone guards is the area that was identified by one of your companions as an area lit by torchlight when the rest of the camp was rather dark.

That works for me. NOTE: My speed s only 20. Pink-Eye should easily catch up at some point.

When the rest of the party chimes in I'll move the action along, if not I'll BOT people once more.

yep running along with Gauntlet toward the light and the two guards. I can see in the dark so I want to remove those two guards and douse the lights to sow more chaos in our attack.

Note that it is dark and hard to see if you are merely human but the torch light from the north gives off just enough light so as to not trip on substantial rubble.

No worries, been very slow to post on my end as well.

I can't remember if Warforged get Darkvision or not...and I can't find the website the GM suggested I use to make Gauntlet. I can't find it written down anywhere on my character anywhere so...ugg. I guess Gauntlet is nearly blind...

This one definitely has them at normal vision.

Due to the issues with the missing notification dot letting you know you had a new PM, I missed the initial one the GM sent me. Thankfully, that problem has now been resolved. Sorry guys!

No worries, the boards have been a mess since August, hopefully this last update will get things back to normal!

Last week+ has been pretty hectic, with holidays, being sick(getting much better), my 95 yr old grandmother needing to go to the hospital Christmas night(she too is doing better, thankfully), etc.

Oh man glad she is ok!

Let's say 2 Hero Points currently, I believe that is where everyone is right now.

+1 point per level, max is 3 pts with normal rules. The GM can give you more pts for any reason he wants, but you can't have more than 3. There are supposedly a few feats and magic items that alter that (there is a magic sword that can store Pts for you) but GM Shadow has a special system for hero pts her prefers.

I get the sense we are becoming a bit dead in the water here. Xetovia has had RL issues and not been back to past posting frequency. Erix has not posted since December 12. Ama has not posted since December 11.

My RL issues have (mostly) straightened themselves out and I have been posting with more frequency in other games and waiting for PCs in this one as I do not want to BOT PCs for multiple rounds.

Give me a shout out if you are still here and want to continue. If so, I will write out those who do not have the time to post, I have one new player who may join but I won't bother having him make a PC if the decision is to shut this one down.

Meridian is visible when she fires those bolts, otherwise she is just a shadow, the fight between the buildings obscures most of her from your line of sight.

I got 3 of 7 to respond thus far.

I'll give it until next Tuesday before I decide what to do.

Also, this scene is kinda frustrating for me. I was hoping to at least avoid some combat, but it seems that was never an option, despite some decent rolls. Just kinda seems a bit like we were railroaded into this fight, that seems like we may not be able to win...

Well...Gauntlet is mostly a combat specialist and then there's the Minotaur in the room...

Yes and no, if you all would have dropped your weapons they would have taken you prisoner and brought you to the next encounter. Then you would have been given the chance to break out and accomplish your mission regardless of that bad turn. The Emerald Claw is not interested in bargaining when they believe they have the upper hand. Remember, they are one of the most thoroughly evil organizations on Khorvaire.

Plus, so far tactics of splitting their forces have worked, all of you are up!

Go on ahead and post I/C as you are not down yet Erix, just down to 1 HP and that's all you need as long as you don;t get hit again!

With a heavy heart I have decided to close this thread.

I had a number of modules I wanted to run for this group but unfortunately I have things in RL that I need to get to and the boards have been preventing me from doing that. Sand runs through the hourglass on me much quicker, or at least I am feeling it more than I was 3 years ago.

My apologies for this I was enjoying running the game for a number of years and this is the second one I ever started running on these boards.

Thank you all for your participation in this game and perhaps when things settle down we can explore resurrecting this one but no guarantees.

Dangit! OK. Well...good things come to those who wait, right?
