Castiel of Fangwood |

Castiel sits bolt upright in bed. Something is wrong but he cannot tell what. Moving quietly so as not to disturb Myron, who slumbers in the next bed, the paladin grabs his sword scabbard and armoured coat from where they hand on a hatstand by his bed, and hurries downstairs.
He is by the back door, checking the locks, when there is movement outside the door.
DM, Wod:
“Dead men came out of the ground? Like zombies or ghouls? What happened? Are you hurt? What of the boy?”

Nigel tosses and turns, then wakes and sits up suddenly
"The horror! The mind-crawling horror!" He shreiks, awaking his roomate
I can't remember who was sleeping with Nigel
He gets up and looks around wildly
You look out your window; see Castiel and Wod jogging off toward the north. You.....think to call after them; they don't seem to hear you.
You shimmy out the window down a branch and are off after them......
Wod; Castiel; you hear somebody jogging up behind you. It's Nigel......

back in 5 or 10 minutes.
Roger that. I'll be gone for a few hours by the time you get back so I posted enough attacks to finish it I think. If Nigel and Castiel can do the same maybe you can roll it all up. Wod is cloaked and won't say anything. He's afraid of taking off the cloak at night in front of strangers because of a lifetime of aversion therapy, and especially so with George gone.

Use summoner ‘summon monster’ ability to summon celestial riding dog.
“Sic ‘em boy!”
The dog gives a ‘Ruff!’ and charges in, barking loudly, jaw snapping: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 plus trip.

prowlers:
THESE zombies...though.....they seem to have coarse implements.....improvised shanks; pieces of chain with balls chained to them. THESE zombies wear black and white striped baggy clothing.

right on.....
EVERYBODY ELSE IN THE HOUSE....
you're all awakened, somewhat rudely. There's a commotion downstairs; the last thing you notice is Castiel(?) putting on his armored shirt and busting up out the front door; Nigel follows out of his window.
If you're around, you can wake up and join in the revelry; if you're not around I guess your character is kinda a deep sleeper; there's plenty happening though......MWAHAHAHAHA!!!
