Prepping 6 scenarios -- although I have the prelim versions of the final two specials and the season 7, they aren't completely done. Especially the maps!
I am going to be very busy in the next week.
But, I will defer to the group's desires.

Awesome job, Damo! Like always you knocked it out of the park. Even with the quick pace, I was totally into the story and the weird, eerie plot. I liked it a lot, and I thought it was a nice change of pace to have it occur in absalom.
It looks like we met the secondary success condition for Grand Lodge. Woo-hoo! I was worried I might miss that one.

1.3 weeks to spare, too... what can I say? I'm a maniac. So are all of you. Wouldn't be possible without a dedicated team of post-freaks. Play by Post... erm... superstars, if you will.

BTW, on monster tactics: Have the written tactics be taken so literally? If the tactics say the monster will grab the nearest enemy, can it not do what makes sense and attack and use the grab ability instead of initiating grapple? (well, if the stat block was missing the grab ability, then it doesn't matter)
I had to back and check how Tig-0 was written in Fires of Karamoss, but there it was quite clear: "Tig-0 makes full attacks in melee, trying to grab and forcibly dismantle one opponent at a time."

So, in the case of this critter, Damien, here's what I would have done.
There is an error on the stat block, one that invalidates everything about the tactics.
As I am sure you realize, the tentacles should have Grab on them. I am not sure why it would be an additional +6 to grapple (but the Grab monster ability adds +4 to grapple attempts).
So, his initial round of combat could have been a full out attack on Gunari, with tentacles (and spear).
Example:
Since neither of this hit Gunari's AC 27, then you could still move on to the spear (since the tactics aren't invalidated by this)
That's how I would have interpreted it.
There were subsequent tactics that were very grapple-like. I also figured that since he had no chance of hitting Gunari with a tentacle anyway, grapple actually worked well enough to go with the tactics in the scenario. It was situational, but the whole encounter as written was a complete mess.
She was serving the Sea Witch (he was her master from the start). It isn't really made clear to the PCs. There's a whole background of betrayal, etc, but it's not that revolutionary or interesting - and again, never exposed to the PCs.
