With Drahlneep mostly mended now through Sarahthenal's aid, Jeji continues to the next bloody door. It slides away to reveal another room. Metal desks sit to the north and south of this long room, yet the most distinctive features are a pair of odd, bedlike tables flanked by curving panels of blinking, pulsing lights. Moving armatures of metal extend out over the beds, each outfitted with glowing panes of glass and strangely glowing tools. The chamber reeks of blood, with great crimson stains splashed across the device, beds, and floor. There is no human here, but another robot. This one speaks saying something in a strange metallic voice.

Drahlneep mutterrs a thanks as he follows the group into the bloodbath room. "It wants us to lie in the bed. I am not so sure that is a good idea."

Jeji stares at the mechanical creature as it sputters in it's metallic language. She's startled by Drahlneep's words and glances his way before looking back at the robot with her head tilted. "I...I do not understand you. Do you...do you understand us?" Jeji asks in common as she slowly reaches into her pack and pulls out a small, glass vial.

Drahlneep snarls and lifts his weapon and shield.
Glancing at Jeji, he says, "I do not believe it understood you. It may be dangerous."

Reep can see that the robot is a duplicate of the other self-repairing service robots that you have been encountering. Instead of a rack of nets however, this one has two jars on its back and one hand ends in a group of needles. He thinks that the needles are used to deliver a potion directly into the body rather than drinking it. Reep moves closer to inspect a bed and the robot approaches.

The robot stands by as Reep lies down on the not so bloodstained bed. There is a beeping noise and some flashing lights from the cabinet then a beam of red light is emitted from one of the metal instruments hanging above the bed. Reep feels great heat as the red beam comes right at him.

Drahlneep knew he would laugh later, but for now he allowed his frustration at Reep to become anger and rage. He charges recklessly at the monster stabbing at it while keeping his shield ready to intercept the needles which may contain poison, rather than healing potions.

The kobolds spring into action. Drahlneep charges at the robot ramming his spear through its shell and hearing something fizzle. Jeji is right behind the raging kobold, but far less furious or effective with her spear. There is another deafening BANG! and another hole appears in the thing emitting some sparks and smoke. Sarahthenal circles around and his whip cracks, but misses the robot.
The swarm of tiny mending robots appears around the wound trying to fix the damage. The robot spins on Drahlneep and plunges its needle tipped claw into the kobold. Blue fluid sprays from the needles as they are pulled from the wound. The area around the wound tingles oddly. Drahlneep-11 pierce, fort DC 11 or -2 STR

Drahlneep howls in pain and rage as the needles slip through his scales. He shakes off the effects of the blue poison and raises his spear for another strike.

Sa'rah'then'al hisses and adjusts a bit to flank with the others before leaping forwards and biting at the metal monstrosity.
Bite: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 2 = 25
Damage: 1d4 - 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) - 1 + (6) = 9
His teeth sink into the bot and he shakes his maw, acid dripping from the wound.

Reep shouts encouragement as he reloads. His bullet is spared though as the kobolds, now whipped into a fury hurl themselves at the robot. Drahlneep punctures and tears off a piece of its armor and Sarahthenal bites onto the metal and wire bits underneath which burn and spark as the acid eats through something important. The treacherous robot mutters something before freezing in place and falling silent.

Sa'rah'then'al spits as the robot freezes and falls silent before wiping his maw and looking at the others. "There seems to be a lot of angry metal here. Not very welcoming is this cave." he said as he began to look around the room.

Drahlneep allows his anger to fade. He turns to Jeji saying, "I forgot about your magic in the excitement. I can't help but jump into the fray. If you need it back, let me know." He turns to the others. "If it was meant to tend to wounds, it has gone crazy. I would assume anything we find here to be as insane as everything we have seen so far is."

"Keep it. It will keep you safe if you remember to use it, but it will only function today. I'll have to make more tomorrow" she says to Drahlneep.
Jeji rummages through the white box and examines the odd vials. While new to her, they are the most familiar things she has encountered in this metal tomb so far.

She takes time to wander around the room and ponder the various tools and tables and what they may have been used for. It suddenly dawns on her that she might be able to learn more if she could read or speak the language that these denizens were using. She would make a point to try to learn the language. Maybe Drahlneep could teach it to her. She would ask him about it later. Her mind refocuses on the room and she begins searching the desks.

Once satisfied that she could learn no more from the room, she heads back out the doors that they came in and heads south.
Yes, we normally end up swarming critters so bombing is more of a last resort.

Jeji plays around with the device and upon pressing the button, there is a brief hiss and some of the fluid inside squirts onto the counter top. She thinks that it is a device to deliver alchemical substances directly into a body only without the needles the crazy robot was using. Inspecting the fluid, she identifies it as anti-plague. There look to be 9 doses remaining.

The southern door opens with a tuoch. A row of beds sits along the southern wall of this well-lit room. Glowing screens and metal desks sit on the opposite walls, and splatters of blood adorn the floor and several of the beds. To the east, a large metal device that is the size of a large bed hums softly.
Through the frosted panels of the humming machine, you can make out a human silhouette. Hovering beside the device is another type of robot. Its arms and hands end in spindly, multi-jointed fingers, and four circular wings hold the creature aloft. It seems preoccupied and reacts slowly to your intrusion.

"What now?" Drahlneep growls seeing another metal monster. Quickly growing to anticipate nothing but trouble from the things, he nearly charges it. Only because of the recent reminder of the magic Jeji loaned him, and the throbbing of his most recent wounds, does he hold back. He smiles proudly and drinks the magical elixir before raising his spear and shield and shouting a war cry.
Move action to ready extract, move to drink, free to enter rage.
ST Rage adds +4 Str/Dex, +2 Will, AC currently 21, T: 19 including shield extract.

Drahlneep prepares for battle while Reep pauses. Sarahthenal advances close enough to apply his cable whip once again. It hits the flying machine, but flicks off again unable to hold it. A vial flies over his head nicking the robot and exploding in a fiery burst.
The blast seems to knock the thing off balance a moment as it fires some sort of device and a burst of throbbing sonic energy misses Sarahthenal.

Drahlneep springs forward in an instant and stabs at the machine, hoping to drop it with one solid strike.

Drahlneep charges quickly and nimbly, his tail whipping behind him. He finds this robot's armor much harder than the other ones. The force of his blow however, is strong enough to punch through even as Reep's bullet bounces off and Jeji's spear doesn't even scratch it. Sarahthenal is having some difficulty figuring out how to trip a thing that isn't standing on the ground and his whip just flicks over it without any effect.
The barreled weapon under the flying robot targets Drahlneep this time, but the low rumbling burst misses again.

Knowing his rage cannot last much longer, Drahlneep puts as much effort into his attack as he can muster, but he can't line up the same heavy attack as before.

Drahlneep and Jeji keep poking at the thing, but Jeji isn't strong enough to get past its hard plating and Drahlneep's thrust is off center. Sarahthenal joins them, leaping up to bite at the thing, but his teeth just grate off the armor. The robot swings at the thing biting it, but Sarahthenal is too quick as he drops and ducks. Reep reloads.

Shouting incoherently, Drahlneep continues his assault.

Finding his mighty fangs totally ineffective against the tough armor of the flying robot, Sarahthenal steps back and unleashes his whip once again.
whip it: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
and succeeds in getting the cable entangled in a rotor causing the machine to fall to the ground! The thing rumbles on the ground before targeting the whip wielder with its gun. This time the low frequency blast hits the kobold like a punch in the snout. Sarahthenal-4 non-lethal

Drahlneep feels himself becoming slow and clumsy. He tries to muster his anger, but the exertion is simply too much. His spear feels like it is made of lead as he tries to lift it once more to strike his foe.

Currently fatigued for 8 rounds, so AC -1 from the Dex penalty.
