she doesn't like it, but she has been wronged before because of her race being known to others.
"My job has it's dangers, with weather and fire and cold being a common spell elements, I had my clothes are made from the fur of fire rats, as it is both warm and insolates against fire."
Bluff: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
Tarvinda Darvelle
Great bluff, won't bother rolling your bluff roll is toooo good.
Tarvinda's eyebrows rise, "Oooh!, that's something I must look out for, it seems a great idea to protect us from such dangers. Well, can't stand here admiring your clothes, Sia," as she moves forward and lets her hand caress the fur pelt Etna wears, "Best help Xeros with the bodies." She scurries off to help Xeros and the others.
Strength check 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 to carry the bodies.
DM Mathpro
Way to give up there Tarvinda and great cover there Etna. I just love it when my groups role play.
Xeros and Necoli are able to pick up one of the bodies by the arms and drag it out of the crypt somewhat slowly, its boots coming off as they drag it. Tarvinda, on the other hand, is able to lug out her body rather effortlessly by herself.
With the bodies out of here and the fire from the meal extinguished there is little light in this room but those with darkvision are able to make out there are 2 doors leading out of here. You also know that the door to the south(I think its south its the one at F-2) is not locked. Where do you go?
Tarvinda Darvelle
Tarvinda pipes up, "If you're going outside of the well lit cavern, then I'll need my torch I guess, can you see if the way ahead is well lit?" She stays back from the door as she awaits an answer and rummages around in her pack for a torch.
Xeros
Xeros has an idea but respects your secret.
"Everythings clear, let me scout ahead since that light will give us away. Is any one else able to see in the dark as well and wants to scout with me?" He gives a smirk to Etna and if he has no takers he will move in by himself.
Stealth:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
Perception(traps):1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Andwell Tactfoot
Andwell whispers to no one in particular. Ohh. How brave of her to go into the dark blind. I will be brave as well and guard the center of the group from attack by standing in the middle.
Andwell places one hand on his trusty sling "Knee-Breaker" and the other on his sword "Shin-Splinter". Ready to use either at a moments notice.
Tarvinda Darvelle
I'm surprised that no one thought of doing a knowledge check to see if Fire Rats exist, and poke a hole in the bluff.
I'll try to get the map ready.
I believe you implicitly ... why would such a sweet girl lie? ...
Tarvinda seeing Sia light a torch, goes to her side, "I could come with you if you want, I need a torch too."
DM Mathpro
Xeros you stelthfully enter the room. In the center of the room is a large pool of clear water, fed by a fountain on the wall above it. The fountain has a stone statue of a weeping maiden holding the slain body of Kassen, but his head has been broken off and is no where to be seen. On the other side of the room there are two short hallways both ending in doors. As you enter the room a loud voice boom's out.
"Magic is the key!" and then the voice fades and the room fills once again with dreadful silence.
At the sound of the voice everyone rushes in, torches in hand and you find an empty room and a rather surprised Xeros in the room(I'm assuming).
Etna Venus Van Ash
with her right index on her chin with a thinking look says
"I think it's a hint to a puzzle in this room."
she ponders
Magic is the key, it must mean magic is involved, but we'll need some magical light to see something or a spell to find something magicial.
Does anyone know the light spell or detect magic?"
DM Mathpro
You detect a faint amount of magic coming from the fountain. As you move closer to investigate you find hundreds of keys at the bottom of the fountain, and the aura of magic is coming from amongst them but you can't specifically tell from where. The fountain looks to be about 10 feet deep so it would require a swim check to examine the keys if you want to.
Xeros
"Damned if I know, I didn't see anything saying it." As Neculai casts the detect magic, Xeros will match it and a Detect Poison on the water just in case.
As he looks into the water he tries to make out if the statues head is inside the fountain.
Perception:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
If the water is not poisonous Xeros will offer, "There is something magically down there, I will offer myself to swim down there since I can handle the cold better then the rest of you."
Tarvinda Darvelle
Tarvinda looks at the clear cool water, "Good idea Sia, always good to know where there's a supply of good clean water. I'll stay here if you want to join Xeros in the swim. Someone has to protect Andwell, or at least watch he doesn't get into any trouble." see chuckles.
Xeros
After refilling his waterskin, he gives Etna a smirk "Come on don't make me swim alone?" The tiefling strips down to just his breeches exposing a upper body that is covered with various scars, the recovered wounds tell a sad painful tale. Some scars actually form into both unholy and holy symbols. With a wink to his friends the tiefling cannonballs into the water, then comes up for a breath and searches the keys at the bottom.
Swim:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Perception:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Etna Venus Van Ash
Etna strips down to her bust bodice and some panties.
and now you can really see her figure.
All her skin is smooth, she has lust inducing curves,
and yet shows some muscular build and strength.
And her Golden blonde braided hair just add to her looks.
If I was using the 1st ed Unearthed Arcana, I would have you all making will saves.
Tarvinda Darvelle
Tarvinda watches with resignation as Neculai watches Sia, thinking His eyes and passion are leading him into Sia's grasp, soon he won't have a will of his own. Why do men do that? And look at her taking her armor and skirt off like that, she has no shame. She's just teasing him, egging him on. At least Xeros doesn't seem to be so overwhelmed. She turns away, keeping a watchful eye on Andwell as he pads around the chamber getting into each nook and cranny. Discipline, discipline they don't know the meaning of it!!! She sighs and tries to keep herself as ready as possible, pacing back and fro, guard like.
Etna Venus Van Ash
If anyone wants to roll a knowledge(Religion, planes, nature arcana) check to know that she can't be completely human.
Dam, I forgot my outer bodice is for trimming the bust and adding to the waist. And now it looks like I am teasing them, great a misunderstanding and judging by the paladin's face have no shame.
Well I do feel ashamed, but I am also practical.
She is effectively wearing a 2 piece bathing suit, Bodice, and underwear
Neculai Dumitru
Very well, I guess. Neculai takes his armor and most of his clothes off.
About as well-muscled as Xeros, Neculai's body is appreciably softer-looking, nearly perfect, and has a glow about it. He lowers himself to the edge, where he sits, and edges himself into the water. He casts detect magic as well, and with a quick wink to the ladies, goes under, looking for the right key.
Etna Venus Van Ash
"Since Neculai has hopped in. I won't be needed in the search for what's down there."
"I can get an idea of everyone thought, so I lay out the practicality of my actions;
Clothes/armour on while swimming is like lead weights in water,
the weather is cold, and walking in soaked clothes is bad for your health,
soaked clothes require a fire to dry them, it takes time, and you'd have to cover yourself in a blanket, while the clothes dry."
she puts her clothes and armour back on.
Xeros
As another figure hops in the pool he swims back up, "Really Neculai, well you ladies disapoint me missing out on a nice path but I wouldn't hop in after me. Since I haven't truly bathed in a month or so." He gives a smirk once again and gives the ladies and andwell a mock salute.
