Sister does not have pilot skills
"The pilot is screaming and bleeding. His hands are still on the controls when the guncutter impacts into the icy surface of Mara with a thunderous crack.
The fuselage rolls slowly; shedding debris with every turn, until it suddenly is still and the only noise you can hear is the hiss of vaporised ice and the whistle of an icy wind through the rents in the fuselage."
Everyone make either an Agility or Toughness check at -10, whichever is higher for you.

Graki Ulthra |

Graki grits his teeth, with a low but intense growl has he crawls out from under miscellaneous debris that fell upon him as he was thrown from his seated position during the crash.
"GRRAGH"
Graki kicks one of the dead bodies of the janissaries out of his way walking holding his side as if he can ease the pain through his combat armor by holding it. Graki looks for those who are alive and would need his assistance, and checks to make sure he has his gear and weaponry.
"is everyone alright!!!"

Auraxis Aurilious |

Auraxis stands up and picks his way out of the ruined guncutter.
"The God Emperor protects", Auraxis makes the sign of the Aquila to the sky.
He turns to treat those with wounds.
Medicae Janissary (do I need multiple rolls here?) 1d100 ⇒ 51
Medicae Graki 1d100 ⇒ 63
Medicae Sister Revanche 1d100 ⇒ 58
Medicae Rha (if applicable) 1d100 ⇒ 63
Medicae Auraxis 1d100 ⇒ 70
Terrible rolls...

Graki Ulthra |

Graki steps out of the shipwreck and into the snow treading softly like an animal on high alert sifting through barely leaving a print. Taking his sword and rubing it on his forehead where there is a leaking gash of blood from the debris smacking him he stin his sword and plunges it into the snow kneeling and remaining slient in prayer....
Standing
"TASTE MY BLOOD CLAIM IT IF YOU CAN!!!"
graki re sheaths his sword grinning at his challange to this emperor forsaken world
"Rha you have any global position system thingy that can tell us where we are?!!
scan ing the area, sniffing around for traces of other life... smelling nothing but burning skybird fuel

![]() |

"Negative. No geological maps of this planet were located in initial research. Auspex and optical readings will provide little assistance."
Despite his previous words, the Tech Priest remains silent a moment after, cybernetic lenses whirring as he concentrated, activating the Auger Array systems stored in his reinforced cerebral casing. Despite not wearing an environmental suit, he seems unphased by the intense weather, the howling ice winds beating against his crimson robes with little effect.
Half Action Concentration
Awareness Test +20 100 = 100 vs 53

God Emperor |

You all feel the bite of the killing-cold weather as it shoots into the punctured hull of the guncutter. They were not joking when they said it was cold here. You are all prepared though and have what is required to survive, for a while at least in this type of weather.
It is night time and the sky is dark and clear, with light provided by the stars and burning wreckage of the battle in the void above.
You can see the Ice Station in the distance, it's about three hundred meters away.

Sister Revanche |

(Yes, he typo'ed the dice roll. The display reads '1d100' when entered correctly.)
Sister Revanche looks at Rha.
"Rha-Zif I3P27, can you scan the wreckage for anything we can salvage? We may be here for awhile, and anything that can be used in aid of our survival should be gathered and moved before it is destroyed."
"Jannisaries, give us a ten-meter perimeter, focused on the wreckage. We don't know if that damned ship has already landed forces. And get us a couple of scouts out to the station. We need a clear path over the ice shelf without the risk of all of our weight breaking through shallow ice. We didn't exactly make the landing pad. Observe and report. Do NOT engage. Fall back if you are fired upon. We'll come running."
"Auraxis, will you assist Rha with gathering supplies and putting out any fires? We may need to use the wreckage as a fallback shelter if staying in the station proves untenable."
"Graki, we need to have a conversation with our Astropath."

Graki Ulthra |

Graki nods and locates the astropath amongst the fallen ship. Graki standsby taking in the scenery which reminds him of the winders of his home planet. With his dreadlock like mane blowing but no wind is cutting through his hair. Graki is not effected by the cold or if he is he does a damn good job not showing it. Its almost as if he belongs in this winter wonder land. Standing there kinda melds him into the scenery. You know he is there but almost vanishes in plane sight
"A word with you astropath"

God Emperor |

The Janissary Sergeant were not part of the three who perished and take the orders of the Sister and begins having their men form a perimeter. One of the Sergeant takes 2 men and start making their way through the cold tundra toward the station.
Graki even this cold is to much for your skin to take. Everyone should be in full protective gear or face the pain of extreme cold weather.
The astropath is just getting all his gear together as you approach him sealing his environmental helmet into place.

Graki Ulthra |

graki places his helm on thats maglocked to his waist and trys to commune with this high tech gadgetry
"What the @$!#"
graki tries to make some sense of the data scrolling through his helmet, not totally oblivious towards technology he blink clicks through:
Weather patterns
Temperatures
Heat signatures of his comrades.
Alerts showing the damage reports to his body and his armor.
Battery life is efficient.
Id charts of his ally scrolling.
Reminder to check ammo.
the amount of weight that he is carrying.
im going through this when sister enegages the astropath....

Graki Ulthra |

Graki looks at Auraxis puzzled
"Turn off?!! I never turned it on...
graki hangs his head in guilt as he believes if he turned the switch on he could have saved Samiel but with the ceiling raining fire and the hatch nearly closed when he spotted him. Samiel would have been lost either way. It was the not recognizing him earlier that cuts deep

![]() |

The Tech-Priest moved slowly towards his comardes, a thin layer of frost weighing upon his broad shoulders while they outlined the edges of what metallic parts of him that could be seen. He turned to Auraxis and Graki, seeming to ignore the Sister at the moment.
"Observation: Vital signs will steadily regress due to your inefficient anatomy and obsolete environmental suits. It would be beneficial that you take refuge inside the Ice Station before the temperature takes advantage of your weaknesses. Extracting guttural Hive term... 'Get inside before you freeze to death.' "

God Emperor |

The Astropath stands up and faces the sister as if she didn't care who she was.
The astropath is an old woman.
"Insight into what. We have our orders we need to make it to the station and with this weather we should move soon. This ship is not providing us much shelter with the hull breach and we will surely die quickly if we don't move out soon."

God Emperor |

The Astropath nods in Auraxis direction uncannily. Her empty sockets can be seen through the lens of her helmet but her powers obviously let her know where people are around her.
"I do not plan on using my powers unless absolutely necessary based on what we have seen so far, especially with Samiel gone. We can use caution but we do need to get out of this cold. Our suits will only last so long out here."

Graki Ulthra |

Graki will go and check on the perimeter defenses. If they want the psyker to use her abilities being in such proximity will interfere with her connection. Graki doesnt talk to any of the guards he just sits there looking as vicious as possible he looks like he is on the verge of an all out assult. But he is actually quit calm

![]() |

"Unable to Comply. Paranoia is inefficient. Scouting will require time that you cannot afford. Databanks hold no evidence to aptitudes in such fields. Test results will return inconclusive. Weakness of the mind will result in weakness of the body. We move."
He was agreeing with the Astropath, and from the simple alteration in his distorted vox creep, it seemed like he wasn't really asking.

Auraxis Aurilious |

Do we recover anything useful from this wreckage (like Auspex equipment) while we are deciding our next moves?
Auraxis turns to the Sister, "It seems that our esteemed colleagues feel we should move on the outpost Sister. While I agree with your sentiments this cold will kill us if we do not at least start moving forward, albeit in a strategic pattern. You seem quite comfortable in commanding the men so I for one believe that is a role you should continue. Does anyone have any Auspex which can scan the site before we proceed blindly?"

Sister Revanche |

Sister Auraxis bites back a small bit of anger and addresses the Astropath first.
"I wasn't talking about your powers, witch. I meant your knowledge. With Samiel gone, you are our most knowledgeable Acolyte when it comes to the vagaries of the warp. That knowledge is useless if you choose to keep it to yourself."
She turns to regard Auraxis with far less bite in her voice.
"My first thoughts are to you and the other men. Your armor's power supply will only last for a few hours. If we can't find a single set of spare power supplies, you and Graki may be dead before we even penetrate the station. Especially if we meet stiff resistance. We have to assume any enemies are aware of our arrival as it was not the least bit subtle."
She nods her head at the station.
"I agree that we should move quickly, and the more time we spend arguing about it, the less time we have to penetrate the facility. If you believe that you will find usable resupply in the facility, then let's move, but you will not have time or an opportunity to return here if we do not."

Sister Revanche |

Sister Revanche nods at Auraxis's findings. The ice station had become more than just a target. Now it was their only hope of survival until recovery. This was a one-way trip, and she would face it with her chin up.
"Jannisaries, form up. Two-meter spread. Staggered formation. Watch your footing. I'll take point. Regroup with the scout element and move on the station. Remember what we're here for. Slow is steady. Steady is fast. Let's move out!"
As she moved in the direction of the station, she called for a status report from the scout element.

Graki Ulthra |

(Then I will march stright up and knock)
Graki will use the cover of darkness to trek through the snow towards the ice station. His eyes darting left to right trying to find a new route towards the location to try and out flank any would be baddies. Pause ever few meters to catch a scent of the air, and listen out for any ambush that may be waiting. Forever cautious
"..."

Sister Revanche |

"Let's keep sharp, then. Assume we are compromised."
Sister Revanche drew her weapons and moved more quickly towards the ice station, setting the pace at a trot, following the footprints of the scout unit in the snow. She scanned the horizon to both sides of their line of march to look for any clue to their circumstance.
