As the conversation tapered off, you enjoyed the rest of the evening with Alyssa.
As the night wore on, you took your leave with her still gazing over the Sea.
Choosing not to don your alter ego for the evening, you spent the night in deep thought about the consequences of what you earned this night. Sleep came soon enough after all an early day with Beshter would keep your morning busy.
As day dawns, you wake to a breakfast plate just inside your door.

You must finalize plans with Santo and get ready for your mystery trip. Other business will simply have to wait at the moment, after all, they are not nearly as lucrative as the Santo deal will be.

During the early morning hours, you wake Moses who thanks you. “I will find out what I can about Dr. Bene and get back later in the day my friend. Remember, stay here, stay safe”.
You head back to bed and wake as the sun rises. You got little sleep but then you are used to little sleep. You enjoy the sun rise not knowing how many more you will be able to see.
Soon you hear the giggling from the other room of the women who Dominic brought home and his tired sounding voice.
Micheal jumps up no time to wipe the sleep from his eyes. Reaching over on the night standnext to him he grabs his blade and springs to his feet... creeping/tip toeing to the door trying not to let the old floor boards creek michael posts up at the door opening it up a crack trying to listen through the crack to see if he recognizes the voices of his would be assailants
they are here to finish the job... the monk didnt get what he wanted so he probably hired professionals to finish the job. I must make my escape but I hang on a second...

The voices which you do not recognize speak, "Why are we waiting for him to wake up?"
Another voice replies, "Because we are inviting him to accompany us, not forcing him to. Our employer wishes to meet this man himself".
Lorenzo nods, acknowledging Moses's request. "Be careful out there, Moses."
Lorenzo sighs to himself, hearing that his brother got little rest or at least that is what it would seem. Giving himself a few moments, he gets up and goes to Dominic's room and knocks on the door.
"Dominic, I need to speak with you."

Dominic opens the door and smiles at Lorenzo through the crack of his door, "Hey. I tried to wake Moses but he was already gone, early riser that one is! You change your mind about the girls?"

Xing Shi will make her way to Andrew without making a scene.
"I went to where you said you would be and you were not there. What happened?"
Lorenzo allows himself the smallest of chuckles at Dominic's question before responding in a hushed tone as to not "offend" Dominic's "guests".
"No, I am afraid not, my brother. It would seem that you have not gotten much rest last night. If you are to accompany me, I need you to be well rested and sober for a discussion later. Do you think you can manage that?"

Michael walks downstairs blade in hand, @$$ naked cause thats how he sleeps and having no time to cover up he springs fourth half way down the stairs able to see his unwelcomed guest.

The two men shake their heads, "Ciao Signore' Santo. Please put some clothes on, there is someone who would like to meet with you this morning. Yes, we work for the men who tried to have you murdered yesterday, no we are not going to try to kill you today. If we wanted to kill you, you would be dead".
"Fine, but be very careful." Lorenzo says with no mirth in his voice. "The games we play now are dangerous, with a large number of opponents, most of which have yet to reveal themselves."

After a few hurried minutes of getting ready Dominic hustles the girls out.
You sit in his waiting room pondering the vast amount of information that Simon presented to you the night before.
Dominic interrupts your thoughts with his return. A wonderful smelling cup of café with a pastry is placed in your lap.
"Eat, you look hungry. Now, I am under the impression you need to lay low here for a while right?"
"Thank you, Dominic." Lorenzo says eagerly taking the food and drink. "I suppose I've been a bit neglectful of my eating habits as of late."
In response to Dominic's question, Lorenzo simply responds, "Yes, and it would be prudent for you to do so as well, pending what Moses finds out for us today."

As you look for some sport it dawns on you that today has been double booked. A meeting not only with Beshter but with Christopher Dandolo as well. Though Beshter is looking for a morning tour and Christopher is a lunch meeting, the previous days tour with Beshter lasted almost into the evening!

Baldemar turns to look at Sir Martin at his utterance. "The Scotsman is crippled? Ah, yes, that scar on his leg. I didn't realize it troubled him so. As for evil, it lays in wait for us everyday and cares not for our complaints. Andrew appears committed to this cause and will no doubt do his utmost to contribute to our success."

Michael clinches the handle of the blade tightly as he spews fourth many questions. Feeling tension rise with ease one
"I will not budge until I get some answers" pointing the blade at the pair of them

Lorenzo contemplate the situation briefly before responding, "Very well, go to your meeting. Be careful and have someone else in the meeting with you."

Michele, you make your way to Santo's home, based on his condition he is probably sleeping off the effects of a late night.
His apartment is a bit run down for your tastes but such is the cost of doing business with Michael.
As you arrive near his door to knock you hear Michael speak:
"Who are you and who is this man you want me to meet and why should I meet with him he just tried to murder me ? I will not budge until I get some answers you's said that you were inviting me... that gives me the option to decline... please start talking..."

Dominic heads out to his meeting and you settle in for the return of either Dominic or Moses.
Near lunch time you are searching the kitchen for a bit of food when there is a knock on the front door.

Martin continues walking alongside you back to the stronghold, "The spirit is willing but the flesh seems weak Baldemar. It troubles me that if we are fighting creatures spawned from the pit that our ally is not entirely healthy in body".

Both of which I assure you, I am fully capable of doing".

You open the door and see Katriana standing before you in the latest Venetian fashion. Without questions she is a stunningly beautiful woman. Her demeanor has changed along with her appearance, she looks and sounds more confident.
She strides in and sits down with her legs crossed at the ankles.
"Thank you for receiving me Dr. Cappelli. Tell me, has your brother seen Francois or Sergei recently?" Her tone is sweet and pleasant a departure so different from her words mere moments ago had you not heard the words yourself you would wonder if she could have threatened you at all.
"I can not say if my brother has seen either one in my absence. We both had the displeasure of your brother's 'company' a few afternoon's ago when he interrupted what was otherwise a pleasant lunch with a potential client."

She takes in her surroundings to ensure no one is watching them.
"I saw something very disturbing tonight after disposing of the stuff and I'm not one to believe in the supernatural or things like that but this got me spooked a bit."

Sir Martin let's the conversation settle as you arrive back at your stronghold. You both enter the tower as the sun rises, exhausted from a long night of no sleep.
Martin clasps you on the shoulder, "I am glad to have you with me in this endeavor Baldemar. You are the best of us, I would ask for no one else, not even the Grandmaster at my back against even these dark forces. Get some rest, we shall visit the Scotsman at the sun's zenith".
