I can't understand why this game isn't being flooded with submissions! I opened up a similar game set in Magnimar and had to beat people away with +3 sticks, and if's not like I'm one of the Superstar GMs that everybody on the boards wants to play with or anything.
All I can think is that either the timing is not good (Skulls and Shackles games are popping up everywhere) or people really can't handle 15 point buy. I've lost track of the applicant list, but hopefully you have a robust-enough list from which to choose.

Thanks Malcius. I'm a little surprised also. I don't think I'll have a problem though I've got some good characters so far. Could use a little diversity though. Either way we will have a fun time!

Is there something other than a wizard you'd like me to submit so you have more variety?

Same here. If something else would work better I am not adverse to changing what I play.

I liked it Azten, for reasons that may become apparent later on.
Why do I get the feeling I've made a background that ties in with whatever plans you've made?
I'm going to have a tough time choosing four. It would be easier to pick five players, but I think that is too many for PbP game play.
Four PCs is what the CR system was based around, so I won't hold this decision against you.

I'd be interested in playing a self-loathing Dark Tapestry elf Oracle named Luminos. His mysterious dark/sinister abilities, as well as his curse, were seemingly thrust upon him by Norgorber himself during the last regional plague. Seeing the positive effects that Azir's non-religious laws have had on the area since the Oath Wars, Luminos uses his sinister abilities to aid the good citizens of Azir in defiance of Norgorber's "gift." Joining the Night Watchmen was an easy decision for him.
Let me know if this sounds ok, and I'll work up the character sheet.
Sorry it took so long, but here is the character info for my Dark Tapestry Oracle. If the party was light on heals, I could replace all of his Inflict spells with Cure equivalents (it just wouldn't harmonize as well with his background/class).

I would like to thank all of you folks for taking interest in my little adventure and taking the time to work up character concepts. Although there weren't a ton of applicants, they were all high quality.
I actually had several versions of the final four and went back and forth a few times, but what made me settle on these PCs was the combination of the various back stories and their potential for plot points with the adventure and with the other PCs.
Tales of the Night Watchmen Members:
Azten: Garret Nihks the Halfling Bard
Thealex: Nathaniel Briton the Urban Ranger
Nazard: Malchius the wizard
Grand Moff Vixen: Xarina the Half-Orc Urban Barbarian
I will look over everyone's character sheet and check for errors over the next few days. I hope to get the campaign thread and introductory post up sometime tomorrow. I'll post the link here as soon as that is up.
Thanks again!

Strangely, no! Perhaps because there is no need to deter a Taldan of any caste from impersonating a self-proclaimed barbarian lord of the desert. In any event, it seems prolonged exposure to sun and sand has interfered with your faculties: I am not impersonating you, you are impersonating me. Fear not, however, as I take no offense; it happens all the time.

Casts charm Internet personality.
You know, friend, you really don't look well. Don't you think a quick change of visage would do you a world of good? Waves hand soothingly yet mysteriously.
I had other choices, so I'll have a look tomorrow for a different avatar. That being said, we could just run with the idea that our characters have an uncanny resemblance. We could really mess with some suspects' heads that way.

DM Sinvel |

Standard, meaning average?
Sorry to be nitpicky.
Actually, I'm easy. Average starting gold or you can roll, each according to class.
Equipment wise, anything released for Pathfinder by Paizo is acceptable. Strange items or items that just don't make sense for your character might be vetoed by me.
Also, since you are members of the Night Watchmen you earn 10 GP per week, which will be added as you play.

Malchius - Actually, I had the same thought myself; why deprive the group of the benefit of two exceptionally good looking avatars? Seriously, though, I will search the avatars today and see what else fits; the character concept has morphed a bit since I picked this one (mostly to fit the Nightwatch motif), and I'm not wedded.
Cheers!
P.S. I will have to remember the Charm Internet Personality spell; it's a good one!

DM Sinvel |

Before I start I am making one final tweak. Her INT is 11 and WIS is down to 12. I will post very soon in the gameplay thread.
No problem. I haven't had gone over everyone's character sheet yet, just wanted to get the thread started. It may be a little while before we'll need any numbers in play.

If you ever need a fifth, remember me.

Luckily my Temple of Elemental Evil pbp has just been resurrected by one of the players. Nevertheless I appreciate that Sinvel and trust you will manage to knock one or two off soon. Just kidding!
Cheers
