hm... not sure if I will have time to play, but... I never turn down the chance to test my luck... and was hoping for inspiration to make a bard anyway... so here goes nothing!
[dice=Stats 1]4d6; 4d6; 4d6; 4d6; 4d6; 4d6
So 15; 13; 14; 8; 15 and 12 respectively.... hate taking penalties on dice rolls, but I suppose taking a penalty on one score isn't too bad to get decent bonuses on the other scores. First time using dice to determine stats purchace (ended up getting a 20 point buy I think, if I am doing math correctly in my head) so do I get to assign the scores to the stats I think necessary or do I have to go line by line (ex: the first 15 has to be STR, the 13 has to be DEX, etc.)?
Assign as you wish. Also, that's a 22 pt buy.
(Sorry for the Terse reply.)

No problem on terseness, we all have things to do after all. Thank you for answering, I will have my character submission later on today... expecting it to be a female Ifrit bard of some flavor. I think that Ifrits should be legal, they are a 6 RP. Should have the post soon.

I might be able to work with that. (I imagine having Horatio in three games is quite enough, but... The temptation is certainly strong. >.>)

Here's what Choon's got. A vanila bard focusing on knowledge skills and buffing/support. Will be using the Aasimar favored class to boost his inspire courage and will pick up the Flagbearer feat for even more buffing goodness.
Here I am, you whipper-snappers! Leave it to me to show you how it's done. In the name of Heaven, I have SHOES older than most of you folk! Say, that reminds me of the Ballad of the Cobbler's Shine!
Introducing Rhasuel an-Tephu, a former scribe and librarian of the Academe before his 3/4-life crisis hit. He was alone, old, and lonely. The books were his only company.
One day, that just wasn't enough. So he started walking the streets and trying his hand at various street games of chance. His cloistered life at the massive Academe Library prepared him for this just as much as it prepared him for the Shiver addiction that he soon found himself nursing.
He became a wandering sage, plying his extensive knowledge from years of exposure to the best of academic literature in exchange for whatever he could get, which would then become Shiver.
One day, he took just a little too much. The overdose brought days of suffering that seemed without end. Seconds dragged into hours as his body combated and failed to purge the poison. Days later, he emerged from the ocean of pain to find that he was still among the living, if barely.
Two years of recovery gave him his body back. Where he had once been tottering and frail, he now boasted muscles that would make young men jealous. The sickness had shown him the way, and burned away the addiction that held him back. Now he seeks the man that addicted him in the first place, Gaedren. If the Law refused to do anything, Rhasuel would do it for them.

Calcedon was the only son of the Forsythe family in Korvosa. His father, who was involved in the military of Korvosa fell in love with a bard from Cheliax, and despite his better judgment, as well as those around him, he married her. Their only child grew up amidst a very turbulent home life in the east shore district, with his parents fighting and making up nearly every day. He learned to play the violin at an early age, and he used it to escape from his surroundings and vent his feelings and frustrations. Locking himself in his room, he played constantly, and it was hard to get him outside, but one of the servant girls could usually do it. Her name was Kailani, of Varisian heritage, and was just a year older than him. She had a marvelous singing voice, and they often were creating beautiful music together.
All was not terrible at his house though. He did his best to be a good son for his parents, as they longed to make House Forsythe one of the great houses again. If it were not for his great grandfather's problems with gambling, they might be still. His father was well known in the Order of the Nail, and when his parents were not fighting, he was doted on by his mother who would teach him all of the Chelish Operas that she knew. They would get the servants together and perform for father and a very disinterested grandfather, and perhaps a few family friends. Although these times were precious to little Cal, violin remained his first love.
By the time he was 10, he was incredibly good at playing his violin and was performing in parlors around the city, much to the delight of his parents. It was said that he outplayed many of the masters and he was considered a treasure at the Temple of Shelyn, where he received more instruction in how to play and learned to play ensembles and small orchestras as well. He was intended to play several major concerts to which the entire city would be invited to hear, but that was until his parents died. For some reason, they were in Old Korvosa and they were mugged and killed in an alleyway. Calcedon stayed home and poured his grief into his violin, and he made it clear he would not perform in public until he was done mourning.
His uncle moved up from Cheliax to watch over the boy until he could take over the estate. He was cruel, and greedy. He dismissed the servants, including Kailani and brought in new ones, who would do what he said regardless of how awful it was. His uncle was a cleric of Zon-Kuthon, and would torture himself and others in the house, and would do horrendous things to Calcedon, things that do do not bear repetition. His ancestral home became an alien world, full of darkness and madness.
His uncle made him play violin all the time, and made him do concerts, exploiting him for money. Eventually Calcedon quit playing his violin, for it no longer brought him joy or relief. His uncle beat him repeatedly, but he would not change his mind about playing. Disgusted, his uncle cut off two of his fingers then enrolled him in the Hellknight academy nearby. The exhaustion of the warriors training followed by the near nightly torture warped Calcedon's mind, and he also became cruel. He wouldn't hold back when training with other boys, and would often wander the streets instead of going home, spreading misery wherever he went.
He graduated from the academy, and spent the next week partying furiously in Old Korvosa with a few Hellknight aspirants. Then one morning he woke up and found someone strangely familiar who had suffered his cruelty the night before, his childhood friend Kailani. Filled with remorse for the only one still alive who had ever shown him kindness, he picked her up and ran to the temple of Sheyln. He stayed there for a year in hiding, doing self imposed penance, and learning all he could. He picked up the violin again and was a welcome addition to those that stayed there. He did have to relearn the violin, as his missing fingers kept him from playing like he used to, but he could play left handed, and was able to regain some of his lost skill.
After a year he sought to bring about the beauty of music that had healed his wounded heart to his wounded city. He spent some time with the city watch, and visited his old friends from the order of the nail, making amends and reestablishing his new purpose. It wasn't long before he went back to his father's home and brought the guard with him. He exposed the atrocities his uncle was performing and had him arrested, and he was later executed for his crimes, although Calcedon would visit him often in prison before his sentence was out and play the violin for his uncle to give him some solace before he went to answer to the Dark Prince. He has filled his house with aspiring artists, as well as his old friend Kailani, who had had a baby in the last year, and was found to be his with some divination help from the temple. He never touched her since, but gave her the best treatment and has showered her with gifts.
He still goes out into the streets but this time, he goes to spread goodwill and joy. He is fond of handing out simple wooden flutes to any beggars he meets, or chalk to poor children to encourage the arts and for them to find and make beauty wherever they are.
Calcedon is overly kind as a default, but is quick to arms to protect his friends or the innocent from harm. He loves to play his violin than do much of anything else, but he also very personable and dismisses or devalues no person. He is generally very likable and is quite attractive but he is currently keeping himself celibate because of the guilt of his past actions which he believes he has yet to atone for. He's a humble, soft spoken man who has seen far more than his own share of troubles for a person not yet twenty.
He is about 6'3, blonde and good looking with dark brown eyes. He has his ring and middle fingers missing on his left hand and long scars on his arms if they are seen, as well as a few others that might not be readily seen. He wears a showy leather armor that is particular to his house and carries a sword and shield for protection and is hardly ever seen without a violin case.
Due to his background, Calcedon is well aquainted with various nobility, lawmen and has an understanding of those in the Order of the Nail. Due to his desertion from the Hellknight order, they do not hold him in very high esteem as a rule, but with some of the lower ranked of them he might still have some sympathy. The Nobility see him as an entertainer from a fallen house, some treat him poorly, but others hold him in relatively high esteem, even if he can't play as well left handed. He has the closest relationships with the City Watch, and even knows a judge or two well due to the conviction of his uncle, which created a bit of a stir in the justice system.
His strongest relationships currently are with the troubadors and artists of the city who reside in his estate and his childhood friend Kailani. I haven't really fleshed out how exactly she feels toward him, and he treats her very well, he has not tried anything romantically with her despite perhaps both their feelings because of his guilt. His child is also well cared for, but he maintains his distance at this time. He is unsure if he should be forgiven. I want to keep the whole thing up in the air and let it unfold naturally during the campaign.
The History of House Fordyce (what is in the guide)
*Cousins war happened in 4502-3
*House Zenderholm replaced Fordyce 30 years after arrival in Korvosa as a great house.
*House Zenderholm participated in the Cousins' war
*House Fordyce became a great house in at the earliest in 4551 after the breaching festival granted fame and fortune to the family.
*House Fordyce retained their title as a great house for a century.
My inventions of the history of House Fordyce
*House Fordyce was originally a great house but lost their holdings because of the cousins war. They regained their status after the breaching festival.
*They were able to repurchase their holdings in the East bank region from house Jeggare as well as use of the two docks nearest their new abode.
*They lost the Great House title around 4652 when Calcedon's father lost interest in politics, and pledged himself and his sons to the Hellknights instead.
*The Fordyce Estates are currently used and maintained by artists and troubadours who Calcedon has let in. He has several servants in charge who keep the unruly mob from destroying anything and encourage them to practice their craft. The upkeep of these vagrants is equal to all of the income of House Fordyce, leaving Calcedon very little to live on. (This basically leaves him with no in game boon to finances despite being technically the head of a house.)
This might seem like a long and involved story for just a PBP, but I have actually been working on this character for a couple of years since I made him for another Crimson Throne game that a friend of mine promised to do, but had to back out of it for RL reasons. I've updated for this, and I am willing to work with you on it if you find it's a bit presumptuous for a PC.

I'm switching up my application when I realized that Lucius had pretty much the exact storyline as another character of mine.
Last change, scouts honor... so here is Elise Warden, a human female Paladin with the divine defender archetype; I'm basically gunning for a real front-line tank here.
Mythweavers is down, so I'll have the sheet and details up within the next day or so, but the absolute basics are here.
DM-Salsa
Hoookay, looks like I've got my work cut out for me. I'll accept new applications until Wednesday (July 2nd) I'll give everyone until the 5th to polish off their applications (Don't worry about making it too nice.)
I hope to have the game rolling by the 12th.
Also, thanks to those of you who have made lists. I really appreciate it. :D

So another Human Bloodrager?
Or are you going for another race?
I'm actually considering a swashbuckler now, since I don't play full martials very often. Why the questioning?
Salsa, when you say people playing ACG classes will have to update them when the book comes out, would we be able to choose archetypes from the book as well? Or is that too much to ask for? :P

Annabella, changeling ranger, for your consideration!
Traits: Drug Addict (Personal Addiction), courageous, and suspicious.
As the dreams intensified, she started to become desperate – she was afraid of going insane, and had fervently hoped to join the Sable Company. In this low-point, she had discovered the drug shiver through an innocuous waif, which seemed to erase her dreams completely. Unfortunately, she became quickly addicted, and when she couldn’t pay any longer, some roughs came and punished her.
Today, she has shaken off her affliction, and continues to dream of riding a hippogriff amongst the defenders of the city. She has bounced back, and is very mindful of staying on a path of righteousness, having become a devout Abdarian. However, the odd dream of two still haunts her – in addition to two teenage roughs towering slightly over her, with the shadowy figure of Gaedren Lamm leering just over them.
She sports straight, reddish hair, preferably short-cut, and rarely below her ears. A very distinguishing feature is her heterochromia – the right eye is a dark brown, while the left is almost a teal-green color.

Is it okay, if we are selected, to reallocate our first level skill points? I put those in the Knowledges that made sense and in Disable Device, but I'm ready to change that to avoid a full party with Knowledge (Nature) or something.
PS: Also @ Calcedon: Yay for Shelynites! Second coolest deity of the Pathfinder pantheon. :)

As far as the DM goes, I like him as a DM, but he seems to be too busy. Anyway it will either be this alias or one copy of it, so I'll have a chance to roleplay this character and his quirks as wells as this AP.
If selected he will be a hexcrafter archtype. He is currently a normal magus with 20 point buy, but...
stats will read...using the rolls of 11, 13, 16, 13, 13, 15.
13 str
18 dex (16+2 elf)
13 con (15-2 elf)
15 int (13+2 elf)

The crunch is done at this point. I'll be updating the background and other fluff tomorrow evening, at which point it'll be complete. Below is a short write-up of what I'll be doing with this character.
Rescued by some Iomedean missionaries, great potential was seen in her early on. The church returned her to health, and trained her to be a leader among men and a devout follower of Iomedae. Having spent the past three years with the Iomedaen church, she was cultivated a strong sense of justice, grace and compassion for the plight of her fellow citizens in Korvosa. Now of an age, she will attempt to make her own mark on the world... starting with bringing Lamm to justice.

If you do not see your character here, please speak up and let me know.
Now that I have that out of the way, I want to cover something that I should have done in the first post, what needs to be in the profile.
At minimum, you need to have your character's stats, their background, and their personality/appearance. It doesn't have to be detailed or long. It just has to give me a good feel for your character.
Also, those who get picked, I'd like you to have put your HP, AC, and saves in the class/race/sex block. The format I use, and I'd like you to use as well, is:
HP: (current)/(total) AC Total/Touch/Flatfooted: F(FORT), R(REF), W(WILL) (Modifiers and conditions), Per: (Perception), Init: (Initiative)
So it would look something like this:
HP: 16/16 AC 17/13/14: F+3, R+5, W+0 (+1 versus Charm/Compulsion), Per:+5, Init: +3
Add arrows/ammo to the end of it if you have any.
Thanks and I look forward to the stuff you guys have coming, and for the rest of you, there's still time to sign up!

This is Rayla from your "The Shadow Queen" game.
I would like to put a foot in for Lluvia, rogue going for shadow dancer. I intended to use her in a Second Darkness campaign, which was unfortunately cancelled since the DM lost interest. I am going to read through the player's guide and adapt her to your campaign. The bridge for the story to Second Darkness is obsolete and may be ignored.
A fair warning, though: While both characters are chaotic good Rayla and Lluvia could hardly have more different personalities. Lluvia is introverted, has a preference for innuendos and subtlety and is rather a quiet observer. She prefers complex speech, whereas Rayla is always straightforward and prefers simple statements. I wanted to bring more depth into her affiliation with the clergy of Desna when I adjust her background for the campaign and can already tell us much that she belongs to the cult of the Black Butterfly (an Empyreal Lord from the Chronicle of the Righteous).
Attributes:
4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 5, 6) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 2, 5) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 6, 4) = 18
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 4, 5) = 18
4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 4, 1) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 6, 2) = 10
Alright, that's (13, 12, 15, 14, 13, 9)
Including racial modifiers I will make it: (STR 13, DEX 17, CON 10 INT 16, WIS 9, CHA 13)

You left this guy off the list, wasn't sure if you meant to put him on incomplete or complete as I consider him complete. I may have to adjust a skill or 2 due to int change, but that is it.
and if picked, I'll make a copy of him or readjust the stats that I said I would have in the last post in the way they were adjusted. For now, just put my name down as Rakdon, even if I don't use that name.

Alright, I got the character adjusted, fixed the broken link with the actual character story and wrote an adapter piece for Curse of the Crimson Crown.
Curiously she would have qualified for two of the background traits already, had the events taken place in Korsova instead of Absalom - her husband was murdered and she had been framed, not for murder but for being part of a conspiracy to steel a ten thousand year old sword of an elven war hero. I considered simply adjusting the location of her background but ultimately decided to leave it where it was and write an addition. So, now it is "drug addict".
So, if I get this right we may just get started in the discussion thread?
KyleS
Okay, time to start work on a different character...
4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 6, 1) = 14-1=13
4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 1, 5) = 15-1=14
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 1, 2) = 13-1=12
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 3, 4) = 14-2=12
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 4, 4) = 14-1=13
4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 5, 1) = 14-1=13
An 18 point buy. Hmm... I'll work with it unless you let me roll it again GM.
DM-Salsa
Okay, this is Kyle. You can remove Triste from the list. Artimus has a simple background I can't deny, but it's more of a revenge story as well. If you want me to used the original stat rolls from Triste instead, I can do that as well if you'd like.
Please do. You can create as many entries as you wish, but please use the same rolls.
Finish the backstory for her. Let me know what you think about it.
First, the Sun Clan is one of the more xenophobic Shoanti Clans. I like the flavor about Wildfire being from that clan, but it's more likely that if they were going after Lamm, they'd do something a lot more aggressive than sending in one warrior, no matter how capable. If you'd like a suggestion, I'd have her come from the group that is with Thousand Bones and have her look for a cousin, brother, sister, niece, nephew, or something like that.
But that's my two cents. It's still a pretty interesting premise.

Stats: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 4, 4) = 17

Stats: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 4, 4) = 16
Stats: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 3, 6) = 17
Stats: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 1, 5) = 14
Wow good rolling!
Here is the Witch That I am placing up for the chance to run this AP
Skivane grew up on the streets of Korvosa so he knew them as well as he could for his age. His parents had ditched him to the cities "wilds" for whatever reason they had, whether it be drugs, murdered or they just didn't want him as a child or because he had the horns and the look of a demon spawn from the pits.
At a young age Skivane was confronted by a man named Gaedran Lamm. Gaedran Lamm brought him into a sheltered home and offered him food. That all soon changed as each night for years Lamm tortured Skivane mentally and physically. Each night grew worse and worse. Skivane's face became so scarred that he was unrecognizable from when he had first entered the home with the other children. Lamm would use Skivane for all sorts of unspeakable acts throughout the city. Acts that Skivane will never forget and attempts to block them from his memory have created a somewhat unstable mind set within the man, though it is only in the presence of anything that brings up Gaedran Lamm.
One Night after being sent on a errand for the man Skivane entered a deal that seems as if it were either set up or well out of control when he entered it. The next thing that Skivane recalls is that a healer of the mind had told him that he was found in a trash heap, left for dead and that he was also employeed by Lamm to "clean up this situation" He explained to me that I was in his personal "Insane Asylum". He told Lammthat I was taken care of but in reality I was brought here for his "experiments".
One night as Skivane's captor slept, believing him to be in a comatose state he slipped out of his bonds and left the makeshift Asylum to earn his revenge against the man who ruined his life. Day by day Skivane plans with Lamm being his only focus for revenge as present day it has been 5 years since he has last seen him. Or whoever better fits the AP if that is too short or long
Let me know if there is any more that you want to see. All of his stats are in the profile.

4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 6, 5) = 15
