Was yesterday a bad day, I don't remember. Today is sucky because I slept next to nothing and when my ride came by to pick me up I was so damn tired I didn't make it to work.

Of course Aliens is on TV, so it is not that bad.

Plus getting home early last night from work I ended up walking to the grocery store. On my way there I found cash laying in the street. I made money trying to spend money. That rocked.

Oh BP I am so sorry to hear that. :/

Sorry to hear that, BP. This has been a rough year or so for you, as I recall. I hope some uninteresting times are ahead of you, as it sounds like you could use it.

Condolences BP. =(

I'm sorry to hear that bp. My deepest condolences. This had been quite a dark day.

Yea. Yesterday Karen found out that one of her friends was diagnosed with a brain tumor. After hearing that, her friend went for a walk out in the desert and has not been heard from in a few days. They are searching for her.

Karen used to live in California near the 29 Palms Marine base. Her friend still lives in the area. Karen has not heard anything new about her friend, so I guess her friend decided that it was not worth fighting. I too hope that she is found and that her tumor is treatable, but I can also understand where she is coming from.

Oh, Karen and myself live in Savannah, GA. Karen is STILL cursing the humity here. She said that the Desert was SOOOOOOOO much drier than this swamp that we live in. ~grins~

You've become a cup-bearer?

Liberty's Edge

Thanks all. Even though I hadn't know him, it was obvious from the service that he was a terrific friend, brother and son and will be missed by all.

Sorry to hear about your dad, BP.

Our bosses must be on the same wavelength -mine now wants me to clean out the kitchen at the end of the day. I mean no offense to anyone dealing with this crippling affliction, but he and my supervisor both really need to take their ocd and stick it where the sun don't shine.

Scarab Sages

Mmmm....boiled crawfish.

Scarab Sages

Visit is pleasant so far. My wife had her french fry po-boy yesterday. Today I had my boiled crawfish. It was nice for most of the morning, but now it's raining like crazy.

Ugh, where mine is trying to work/stress me to death it sounds like yours is trying to drive you out. Almost to the 'creating hostile work environment' level.

Scarab Sages

Heard the potential Triple Crown winner dropped out of the Belmont. The horse had a swollen tendon in one leg, so rather than risk him, they retired him and can now stud him out for lots of money. Not bad for a horse they paid like $35K at auction.
