Mantooth will wait until Tirion casts Haste and Enlarge. When the gnome finishes casting his spells, then the paladin runs across the field to face the Wyrmlord direct on!


Male Gnome Sorcerer/9 - (HP: 49/49 - AC20;FF17;T18 - F+5;R+6;W+7 - Init+9 - Per+11)

I will cast it immediately before any of us move out of range. I think that the best option is for the guards to step back and let the giants and hobgoblins advance. If they have a bunch of bowmen, then this obviously changes things. The Haste only lasts 8 rounds, so we will need every one.

Up to you guys, I know that Bofus wants to move forward. If you want to move to engage the enemy, then I will cast Haste at the beginning of round 1. If you all want to let the enemy move forward, then I will cast it after the enemy moves so that we can all charge forward to get attacks in.

I will cast Enlarge Person on Mantooth. <-- unless I could have cast this ahead of time. Since it lasts 8 minutes, I would have cast Enlarge on Mantooth, Thordak and Red ahead of time so that all of them get AoO whenever anyone attacks without reach if possible.

If I already cast the three Enlarge Person spells, then I will begin to zap people with the wands.

I hadn't looked at the map before stating my action, an didn't realize the enemy had moved so far. I would like to change my action to NOT climb the building, but hide alongside the south side of it, pleaese.

I believe it is a DC17 Reflex to halve the damage on the Cone of Cold. It is a scroll, but the minimum intelligence to cast/scribe a 5th level spell is 15 which would be a +2 ability modifier, and the spell is a level 5 spell. Thus, 10+2(ability)+5(level) = 17

Round 3

• Bofus steps up, stabs the ogre in the legs, and the whole creature comes crashing to the ground. It will not walk again.
• Red moves to (K,L,6,7) and slices at the nearest ogre. The brute falls to the ground dead.
• Poppy fires off at Wyrmlord Kharn. However, with its full red dragon scaled plate mail, it is unlikely the general even felt a thing.
• Mantooth attacks the giant repeatedly in haste, and starts taking it down. Although the giant looks badly wounded, the huge creature does not seem to understand pain.
• Tirion moves forward (N7) and completes casting a scroll of cone of cold.

• Bofus moves to E7 and narrowly avoids being attacked by the monstrous fiends as he slips by. He then stabs at the giant and badly wounds the great humanoid!
• Red takes a five foot step closer and furiously attacks the Wyrmlord General. Although most of the attack appears deflected by the Red Dragon Plate mail worn by Kharn, one strike does get through and wound him badly.
• Poppy casts lesser confusion on the Wyrmlord.
Will Save vs. DC 16: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
However, the spell appears to have little effect on the driven Wyrmlord.
• Mantooth strikes at the mighty hill giant with three slashes, but only one is able to land a damaging blow. The giant howls in pain, but it remains fighting.
• Tirion steps back and releases a scorching blast at the hobgoblin bladebearer in front of him. Suddenly the bladebearer catches fire and falls to the ground in a burning heap!
• Thordak fire off three shots at the Wyrmlord, but only one is able to make contact. Despite its protective armor, the Wyrmlord appears to be weaking.
