If he stays with the party, you won't need to give him a share of gold. I'll assume he gets enough to continue to slowly upgrade his gear. However, if you want to get or give him a specific item above and beyond his standard gear he'll slowly pickup, feel free to do so.

Sorry, it's been a busy couple of weeks prepping for my mother and grandmother's move from Iowa (not to mention the impending arrival of our baby). As a reminder, I'm out entirely next week doing that move, starting this Saturday.
Anyone with experience playing clerics is welcome to run Lorlenn, based on his char sheet, but I'll try to check in from the phone; it'll just be late at night.

All, Mike (aka Lorlenn) will be unable to continue playing with us. Later this week, I'll open a recruitment thread to solicit another player ... primarily a healer role ... to replace him. Note he also comprised your diplomacy and potentially a primary caster role as well. Consider that as you develop your character.
If any of you know of anyone you want to personally recommend, let me know before the weekend and I'll forgo the recruitment thread in lieu of personal knowledge.
If there are any other specific character requests you wish for the recruitment, please let me know that as well.

I need to reread the end part of gameplay. Last I remember the group was going to find the Second Story girls or whatever they're called, looking for that lost Sczarni girl. I'm sure there are more details I need to absorb before I could offer any meaningful advice. I'll give it a gander over the next day or two when I have some time.

Ha! It's been over two weeks since you recruited me and I haven't even been introduced yet. You advertised one post a day minimum. There have been 36 posts since the 23rd. A lot of them from you or your DMPC.
Seems to me there should be more like 3 players * 15 days= 45 posts from the players plus all the posts from you. Maybe next time you recruit you should be more honest/realistic about the pacing of the game.
To be fair, I was out of town all last week... Our pacing out the door was fine and "as advertised". But the whole reason we were recruiting was to re-infuse the game. We started with 5, lost 2 to RL concerns.

No worries... part of my problem here has been lack of leadership (not the DM stuff) but having a "final" commit button. Im too new to this format (and playing D&D outside of when i was in highschool) that im not completely sure when to push forward and when not to. With the rooms weve had nothing but sludge to try adn avoid so i wasnt even sure what we would want to do on my own, so i basically passed (esp since i was going to be out of town).
For what its worth, im having fun, i know im a bit slow at sometimes but usually once things are a little more clear and focus i can jump in more.
Yeah, there are some interesting terrain obstacles in this path. more to come! some Tike taking a risk pays off! If not, you can always roll another character, Ha!
Mike was definitely emerging as party leader so its a double blow with his sudden depart, but we'll get there!
