Well...this will have to do.
"Thank you for your help friends. I'm unclear what deity this statue represents but I could not allow it to remain covered and prostrate for all eternity. "
"Now...what's going on with this map?" Rhydderch looks thoughtful for a moment. "Speaking of maps...do we know our way out of this tapestry?"

![]() |

A bit surprised Priscilla turns to Toren and hands him the map. “By our taskmasters at the Society.. you mean Aram Zey, right?” She holds on to the map for a second and stares at him as he reaches for it…
”Speaking of our task at hand, I am a little surprized and relieved we have only come across Aspis agents and no other beings that might dwell in this demiplane…”
Priscilla takes a last look around the room.
Perception 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
”I realize the last fight gave you a bit of a scare there Blue Eyes, but our work here is not done yet, I believe there we past another chamber to the northwest.”

Looking at the statue, Priscilla thinks about where it may have been removed from.
"No Problemo Blue Eyes, what happens in the Hao Jin Tapestry stays in the Hao Jin Tapestry. Well, Oh Mighty Valiant One, if you are done redecorating, you can lead the way to that northwest chamber."

DM Feral |

I almost forgot something.
After Chanix checks the desk one last time, he finds a hidden compartment. Within, there is a journal describing a Tian ninja - Yashi Momota's recent tagging along on Aspis Consortium missions. The journal's author believes he represents only the first stage in a growing alliance between the Consortium and the Golden League of Goka, and has details on other evidence that he/she believes supports this theory.

The last unexplored chamber appears to be another shrine area.
This shrine looks as though it was constructed yesterday, its intricate stonework unblemished by time, vandals, or weather. A statue of a beautiful four-armed woman bearing a scroll in each hand rests beneath a tall spire. Images of daring acts of heroism, long journeys, and unrequited love fill the walls.
Perception checks please.

Chanix pairs a dagger with his rapier in preparation of the worst.

DM Feral |

Rhydderch detects the presence of evil.
Even aided by Pricilla's luck, Toren's attempts to wrest the scroll from the statue's arms are unsuccessful. It appears the scroll is part of the statue.
Suddenly the cold spikes sharply!
Rhydderch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

Cold Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Priscilla: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Cold Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Everyone takes cold damage and the biting chill saps some of little Priscilla's strength (1 strength damage).
A moment later, the danger is passed and although the sense of sadness still permeates the room, it is no longer cold (or at least not colder than the rest of the temple).
In a corner you find the body of an aspis thug that did not survive his encounter with this room's haunt.
A further search reveals nothing else of interest.

"Hrrbbrrrr!! It got damned cold in here, dinnit just? I don't think I can find anything else in here besides that poor feller in the corner worth searchin' for...anyone else care to leave this place?"

"I have an uneasy feeling but I cannot pinpoint the cause. Priscilla, would you mind taking this wand of mine and using it as needs be?"

DM Feral |

Rhydderch's spell proves unnecessary as you all spot another aspis agent barring the exit from the temple - a fearsome half-orc woman with a pair of deadly curved blades in her hands. Behind her cowers a feminine rat-person with a violin clutched in her tiny paws.
"So the Pathfinder Society has finally come to ruin my operation? Well not on my watch!", she shouts in a guttural voice.

C: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

I don't know the assassin's stats; does he have something that negates the ranged penalty for throwing long distance?
Chanix let's his dagger fly at the half-orc as the battle opens up.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
1d4 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 1 + (5) = 10

DM Feral |

Not at all. I just forgot. Range penalties would give him -4 to hit. Unfortunately that would still hit Toren's flatfooted AC (just barely).
The dagger hits the orcish woman in the shoulder hard but she only snarls her defiance.

When Rhydderch steps into the room he finds his legs tangled with a length of magically concealed rope. The rope tangles around his legs and hampers his movement.
Rhydderch is Entangled as of B5. He's not anchored to anything so he still move at half speed but that mean you can't quite attack this turn.
You still have the rest of your movement and a standard. It requires a full-round action and either a strength check or escape artist check to remove the Entanglement. Alternatively, you can just attack to destroy it.

Another knife appears and goes hurtling through the air towards the assassin above.

The assassin chuckles softly as Chanix's dagger flies wide.
With his offhand the figure performs a series of brief gestures. A moment later he moves with supernatural quickness and quickly tosses two more sharp metal points, this time aimed at Chanix.

The half-orc stays in delay.
"Come on then Pathfinder. Let's see what you're made of. Or are you afraid?" she sneers.
Up now: Toren/Priscilla

![]() |

Feral, did you throw 3 stars at me? Is that possible at this level or is one of those meant to be a save?
Priscilla, this is the second round. You get a new set of actions.

![]() |

I am a bit confused by the action sequence here, is Toren still down despite the heal? And is Priscilla still down a strength point. And where is the opponent on the side of the map?

Pricilla surprised to see Torren not waking shouts ”Wake up you oaf! It’s time you use that blasted shield of yours!” Priscilla turns to Chanix. ”Do you think you get rid of the sniper?Priscilla grants Chanix a Bit of Luck. (4 of 6)
Priscilla then readies her sling. Move action?

DM Feral |

The violinist continues playing at a frenzied pace.
The half-orc growls in frustration. Tired of waiting for someone to come challenger her, she closes on the group and lashes out with one of her curved knives at Rhydderch.
