Travigan Frost |

As Trinia throws her arms around him, Travigan's eyes widen in a fashion similar to when Tayce Soldado embraced him after they'd helped her little girl. "Ack! Aye, aye. There there, lass. Bored an' alive is a good stretch better than excited 'n dead. Ye can lemme go now, girl. There!" Travigan shakes his head ruefully as she at releases her grip and scowls at his chuckling companions. "Right then, we've got a long road back ta' Korvosa proper now, don't we?" Rolling his shoulders he nods at Trinia as they depart and shrugs at her question regarding the mysterious Blackjack. "Who knows? Are ye in touch wi' any other royal assassins in need o' being smuggled?" His face gets suddenly serious then as he reasserts, "Stay out o' trouble! I mean it!"

Later, as the group approaches the crowd departing the city, the blacksmith groans heavily, "Shelyn's blessed smallclothes, now it's a blighted plague? Heaven help us, we hav'na even got back yet!"

The travelers not only ignore Tina, they draw back from her approach as if she were a monster of some sort. Muttering prayers to Abadar or whoever they feel can help them, the pilgrims stay isolated from anyone not wearing a mask, and even then only have limited contact.
The inn therefore is not a particularly welcoming place though it is the only indoor place to spend the night on the road.
Do you choose to find a room at the inn, or take your chances outdoors/

DM DoctorEvil |

The inn is crowded with the folks leaving Korvosa for the hinterlands, but there is one dormitory style room available, where you can all stay, if a bit uncomfortably.
The meal at the inn is passable but the hushed silence in the common room makes most take their meals in the privacy rather than company. After a long night passes, you are ready to set out for the city again.
Anything else to be done either tonight or on the way back to Korvosa, or are you ready to be there? Once you get to the city, what is your plan?

Sgt Grau Soldado |

Soldado looks weary and strained, but smiles and greets you warmly. "Hail friends, been away, eh? A few days in the country? Things have gone to hell in a handbasket while you've been away. This sickness, blood veil, they are calling it, has broken out all over the city." He waves a wagon full of a families belongings through to the bridge and then turns back to you.
"Have a message for you, so I am glad to bump into you. That cleric Vaultkeeper Dhatri wants to meet with you at the Grand Vault of Abadar. Seemed like a decent fellow. Said you worked together on Brienne's case earlier. YOu think this disease is what she had?"

Travigan Frost |

Travigan nods grimly, "That's my fear at least, Grau. We warned those money grubbers too!" The burly man wrings his hands in frustration, thinking the Abadarians were about to ask them for help. "How much you think we can charge 'em for our aid, eh?" His tone is grumpy and sarcastic, matching his deep frown.
