Sylvia de'Karne |

Whoops, sorry! Didn't notice we had updates.
So it's a fight, eh? Well, if it's a fight they want, it's a fight they'll get! Though we'll likely get the blame for this, no matter the outcome...
I'll take Rehvi's spot, thanks! Just let me step right there... excuse me... oh, so sorry 'bout that, didn't see you there...
Shouting into the salty air, Sylvia swings at the man in front of her, "Fethos ve de lowd, you lout! If I get lashes, I'ma gonna make it worth m'while!"
Spell combat to cast shield, 5' step into Rehvi's spot, and attack at -2.
Unarmed strike on... Fipps, I guess: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 Ooooh, ouch
Critical confirm?: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 Doubt a 9 hits his flat-footed AC...
Massive unarmed strike damage!: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 nonlethal damage
And I started off soooo well, too. Sigh. AC is currently 17, 13 touch, 14 flat.

Jack Hearts |

AC is 14. Didnt think I woud get trough!

Jack Hearts |

I dont think so but i have to ask. Do I get sneak damage because I'm first initiative wise. If so I hit my opponent in the kidney for extra damage. Sneak Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Jack Hearts |

"Everyone who is upset for being abducted and or treated wrongly. This is the time to get even. Let's show these scum."Jack says aloud to get the rest of the crew involved.

Reginald Kretch |

We already had initiative rolled? I missed that :)
Reginald sees that the group isn't going to be swayed by reason, and has no fear of getting lashed. "Well, it seems our 'friends' here have been put up to the task if they have no fear of punishment, so, we might as well get our lumps in, since this is clearly set to make sure we get beaten."
"Have at you Maheem! Reginald makes a sudden move, in a feint.
bluff: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20 DC of this check is equal to 10 + Maheem's BAB + your Maheem's Wisdom modifier unless they're trained in sense motive in which case the DC is 10 + sense motive. Denies them their AC against my next attack.

[ooc]If you see my posts with grammar mistakes in them I apologize up front. My native language isn't english and I post from my phone which doesn't have an english grammar checker on it

Is everybody's AC without their armor, I just assumed that everybody left their AC as if they had their gear. Reginald my mistake Jaundice is in front of you, that was my fault. All DAM is nonlethal.
Jack is able to tumble between the group and strike Maheem in the kidneys (causing 4 pts of DAM)
Sylvia punches Fipps across the face causes Fipps nose to bleed.
Reginald faints at Jaundice and is able to cause him to recoil and stumble.
Maheem: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
DAM: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Fipps: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
DAM: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Aretta: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
DAM: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Jaundice: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
DAM: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Slippery: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
DAM: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Maheem attempts to punch Edmund, but Jack is able to startle him from behind.
Fipps grits his teeth at Sylvia and punches her in the gut (3pts of DAM)
Aretta laughs at Janis, and punches Edmund in the face (causing 4pts of DAM)
Jaundice and Slippery team up on Reginald and both are able to connect with several punches and kicks (5pts of DAM)

Sylvia de'Karne |

My AC's 17 (from the shield spell I cast in the first round), so a 15 shouldn't hit, right?
Sylvia is more determined to see this end after the beating that Reginald takes, swinging yet again at Fipps.
Unarmed strike: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 I... can get used to this...
Critical confirm?: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 ...or not.
Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 nonlethal damage. This'll take all day

Edmund Tack |

Dodging one was easy but the second one from Aretta was a surprise.
Edmund swings at Aretta in return.
punch: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Revhi |

Tsk tsk. Revhi steps back a good distance, then touches her birthmark and with a rush of wind fills the room with energy. The strands of magic only touch the party, healing the bruises on them.
Channel Energy: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Stepping back and using selective channel to make sure only the party is healed.

Janis Talon |

My AC is without armor. 10 base, no Dex, +4 Total Defense = 14.
When Aretta turns away to attack Edmund instead, Janis gives a slight smile of satisfaction. Not so much at Edmund's misfortune of course, but her own fortune. She thinks to herself, Good... Good, Aretta, good. So you can listen. You don't need to be my friend right away. I wouldn't expect you to. Not so soon. But what is valuable is that you do listen. You, my little girl, are fertile ground, and you just got yourself elected. If you are among Harrigan's favored group of little henchmen, then I will need a mole inside that circle. I'll be coming for you, Aretta Bansion.
Backing away from the fight, Janis hops on top of some crates on the edge of the room, crouching there and watching the altercation. "I have trouble believing that any of you haven't been mistreated by our superiors. Ladies and gentlemen, to coin a phrase, we're all on the same boat here."
Second round action: Move action to crates, Standard action to Total Defense, Free action to continue Diplomacy.

Sylvia de'Karne |

I think they still would have sucker punched you back there. Are these guys we're fighting wearing armor? I don't think I caught that anywhere. This fight is already lop-sided enough!

Jack Hearts |

Seeing Reg getting double teamed, Jack moves to help Reg, looking out for anyone taking a swing at him. Acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 He then tries to flank one attacker with Reg. Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 Damage : 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Sneak Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1
Sneak Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2

DM Cuc |

My last post got eaten when the boards decided to crash, so I will use the rolls from that.
The pirates try to mount an offensive, however between Jack tumbling around and Janis trying to talk the pirate down, they are unable to connect with any of their attacks.
It is your guys turn, I have map a simple map to help keep everybody on track about where they are. Janis and Revhi, I just moved you to the back, I didn't make the whole map to scale or anything, I just wanted a general idea for everybody.

Sylvia de'Karne |

Sylvia, starting to get just a tad frustrated with the bearded Fipps, swings again at the large pirate.
Unarmed Strike!: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 Aw, no critical!
Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 nonlethal damage

Janis Talon |

Diplomacy continues for Round 3.
"How many of you are Harrigan's friends, really? I'm not asking you to admit it to me, but think about it and consider admitting it to yourself, at least. You're just being used, expendable fodder to throw into fights that they won't bother with. Is that the position you really want to find yourselves in?"
I clocked that at 17 seconds, so with six-second rounds, consider speaking that out (and continuing Total Defense) to be my action for rounds 3-5 unless something critical happens.

Edmund Tack |

Edmund takes a second strike at the lady, Aretta, who snuck in a punch on him earlier. This time he gains the advantage of flank.
punch: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 1 + 2 = 17
damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Jack Hearts |

My mistake , to excited, I m rolling my full round attacks instead my 1 after moving . Will miss both the attacks I have now to make up for the earlier mistake.

DM Cuc |

You guys notice that Fipps, Aretta, and Maheem look pretty beat up and appear to have trouble balancing. However, Aretta is able to pull through and connect with a solid jab to Edmund (3 DAM). While Jaundice is swinging at Reginald, Slippry is able to slide in and delivery a hard kidney punch to Reginald.
Maheem: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
DAM: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Jaundice: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
DAM: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Slippery: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
DAM: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Fipps: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
DAM: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Aretta: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
DAM: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
You guys are up, and noted Janis that way I won't be waiting for your reply because I wasn't paying attention lol.

Edmund Tack |

Edmund continues to get hit by Aretta while dodging Maheem. Edmund changes his feet and takes another swing at her while she is in flank with Jack at her back.
punch: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 2 = 5
damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Total Fail.

Sylvia de'Karne |

Heh, even says it right there in the feat's text. Ignore me.
Sylvia continues to swing at Fipp, hoping the man and his magnificent beard will eventually just fall so that she may move to the other's aid, "Just fall already!"
Unarmed Strike, again!: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Sweet, sweet damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 nonlethal damage, please fall, please fall, please fall, please fall
If, by some odd chance, Fipps there does fall, I'd like to shift into his spot. If not, I'm fine where I'm at. Thanks!

Jack Hearts |

Seeing an opening to hit 2 pirates where it hurts, Jack hit Jaundice with 1 hand on the side of his head, near his temple.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Sneak Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5
His aim completely off, Jack tries to stick to his plan and switches his attention to Aretta for his second attack to help out Edmund.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Sneak Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4
This time he connects and sucker punches her from the side right on her nose. He then takes a step to the right towards Maheem.

DM Cuc |

Sylvia's onslaught of fists is followed by Fipps taking a hard hook to the jaw and causing him to drop unconscious.
Jack is able to catch Aretta by surprise and delivery the final blow to Aretta before she falls to the ground, knocked out.
After seeing their two comrads fall, Jaundice turns and punches Jack (2DAM) and Maheem kicks Sylvia as she sets over the fallen Fipps.
Maheem: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
DAM: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Jaundice: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
DAM: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Slippery: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
DAM: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
You guys are up.

Edmund Tack |

Edmund steps left to Sylvia's old position giving him and the group an opportunity to take out Maheem.
punch: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 1 + 2 = 18
damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
I wish I had spent more time working my fighting skills.

Sylvia de'Karne |

Sylvia swears as she takes the kick in the stomach, glaring at Maheem, but then blinks as Edmund steps away from his old spot, dashing her plans of flanking the larger man.
Seeing a spot behind Jaundice that gives the same opportunity, as well as an easy out to the stairs if needed, she moves defensively past the line of men to get behind Jaundice. When she's finally in position, she taps him on the shoulder before swinging at his large half-orc jaw.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 3 + 2 = 21
Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Did Fipps (or Aretta, for that matter) there have any weapons on them? Maybe a cutlass? Not for this fight, mind you, because I don't think anybody wants this to turn lethal, but Sylvia would feel toooooons better with a cutlass on her hip, and if she can grab one now...

Jack Hearts |

After getting hit by Jaundice Jack using his momentum to hit Maheem in the gut.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 Threat: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Sneak Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
If this takes out Maheem I switch my second attack to Jaundice
Seeing Maheem cringe brings a smile to his face, he then with his other fist tries to give Maheem an uppercut to finish the deal.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3
Sneak Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4
He glances Maheem's jaw but it isn't a solid hit.
We need to go soon or it’s the whip tonight at dinner

Reginald Kretch |

Reginald spares a glance behind him to see the two ladies hanging back. "Ladies, if you please, I'd hate to see either of your backs lined with a whip. Once we open a hole, we should all try to reach the deck before we're late." He looks up at any crowd watching, "You do realize that if you linger here, you all risk being late to muster as well? I really do want to spare you all from a lashing, you should probably get moving. I promise, I will let you all know who wins the fight." Trying to bluff his way to having the rest of the crew think that being on time is far better than watching this fight. Also hoping that will drum up some goodwill with some of the other crewmembers since Reginald is "looking out for them." ;)
bluff: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27

Sylvia de'Karne |

Reading back, GM already said that they don't appear to be armed, so I'll just toss a perception check in to make sure that they're not armed, I guess, since I stated before I was casually looking for something with a pointy end to hang off my hip.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
...sigh.

DM Cuc |

@Reginald, your attack hit and I marked it on my sheet, but did not post it.
After Edmund, Reginald, and Sylvia are able to hit Maheem and Jaundice, Jack sneaks in and is able to deliver the knockout blow to both men.
You figure you only have a little while longer until you will get in trouble. (2rounds)
Obviously, very nervous, Slippery takes a wild swing at Sylvia, which connects in the stomach (2DAM).
Slippery: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
DAM: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Sylvia de'Karne |

Cursing, Sylvia just berates the man!
"Idiot, your friends are fallen around you, and still you continue with this nonsense! That hurt! In a moment, these fellows here will have you layin' with yer friends and I'll be up on deck gettin' ready for another grueling work day... well, at least you'll get ta sleep in a bit, but I wouldn't be lookin' forward ta the lashes ya might be gettin'. Idiot," she growls once more at the man before Jack can knock him unconscious once and for all.
If he's still standing after everyone else is done walloping on him, I guess Sylvia will kick him in the shins or something for the gall, but I don't really expect him to last too long.

Edmund Tack |

Edmund takes an around the way move 25' to flank Slippery and swings away.
punch: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 1 + 2 = 19
damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
