Yes, but don't they drop -2 on the CT when you meet or exceed their Damage Threshold?

Six wrote:

Correct. First you use the total stun damage to check against Damage Threshold. If it does exeed that point, the target drops two on the Condition Track. After that, half the stun damage is applied to Hit Points.

Jerrn snarls as the blaster bolt wings his arm. "I am seriously close to losin' MAH TEMPER HERE." Jerrn reaches out with the Force, just lightly at first, and uses the Move Light Object aspect of the skill to begin knocking small things off the computer desk onto the Twilek. Not enough to harm him, but hopefully enough to rattle him.

Aid Another (Persuasion): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Under the combined shouting and the Force shower of loose desk supplies (but mostly the repeater), the Twi'lek breaks.
"All right! All right! I give! I surrender!" The Twi'lek screams as he tosses his gun away.

"Great. Now answer the blasted questions. What is this place? Who are you people? What are you doing here? And how the hell do we get outta here before it blows up? Time's running out, just like my patience, Twilek."

With the threat gone, Desh takes a moment to take a second look out, specifically looking for people or vehicles, then he kneels down and - with his trigger hand - begins to check the wookie for additional weapons or items of use.

Perception (take 10 since we're not in combat 10 + 7 = 17.

While the Twi'lek responds, Six confiscates his sheathe of vibrodaggers and speeder bike key, handing them to Desh. (I don't want this guy armed.) He then grabs a pair of power packs and one of the holsters from the fallen Zabrak, strapping it to his left leg. "Then we should get moving. I suggest we gear up, and do our best to drag these guys out, time allowing." Tossing the bike key to Dax Oan, he turns his attention back to the gibbering Twi'lek. "Grab your human buddy - and don't fall behind. Jerrn, you look like a strapping fella - would you grab the Zabrak? I think Desh here can handle the Wookiee."

Gear-wise, I'd like to grab the holster/wave blaster, 2x power packs, and the utility belt. Everyone should definitely grab a pair of power packs, comlink and a bike key; I think we can divvy up the rest later. By now, everyone should have a bike key, comlink, and 2 power packs from this encounter. I'm keeping a tally of credits, security cards, and other unclaimed gear for reference at the bottom of my bio, so do your shopping now, before we get moving.

That's fine with me, Six. I figure as long as someone grabs the creds, Desh wouldn't mind. He's more worried about immediate survival, anyway.

Camris:
Question about the repeater/power generator. You referenced it weighed about 50lbs. Was that just the repeater? or was that both?

The Twilek in hand, Desh crouches down and efficiently breaks down his current equipment, quickly deciding what is necessary and what isn't.

Bad prep can kill as fast as blaster fire.

The (too small) armor stays on him. Don't have time to switch to the wookie's right now… maybe when we're safer. He strips the ugly repeater and its power generator off the wookie first. Then, taking the vibroblades from Six with a nod, he lashes them around the bulk of the power generator for easy reach before lugging the heavy thing over his head and onto his back - shrugging it into a comfortable position. The medpack goes into one of his many baggy pockets beside the one he already has, and two more power packs join the first two scavenged from the bodies earlier. Then his red eyes linger on the giant vibro-axe on the wookie's back. For a few seconds he's undecided. He gives a chuckle as he shakes his head, Always a sucker for good blades. And the axe goes across his back as well.

He stands, testing the weight of all the gear. It is an impressive array of stuff clinging to his tall form. Then he looks down at the wookie - realizing the huge creature must weigh over 130 kg in his armor - and he looks at the floors, testing their slickness. Camris, are the floors somewhat smooth or slick? If so, Desh could get away with dragging the big guy. If the floors aren't conducive to dragging him, then Desh can only carry the repeater/generator OR the wookie. If that's the case, then Desh will (very sadly) put down the repeater to get the wookie out… despite his better judgement. If this is the case, he will have his pulse wave pistol in hand, lugging the wookie over his shoulder with his spare hand.

As he works, he continues addressing the Twilek. "So you got hired to wreck this place not knowing what this place was, 'cause clearly this ain't a simple storage facility. And you bit off more than you could chew. So who hired you?"

Looking over at the two humans, he hikes his chin at the door behind himself, "One of you two wanna check out that shaft in there? It looks to go deep, and there are these pods everywhere. Can your force-stuff tell you what's in them? Not to mention I didn't see anything these clowns should be running from."

Game Closed

Collecting the credits and security cards, Six tucks them into a pouch on the utility belt for safe-keeping. He takes a look at the shaft Desh mentions, and lets out a low whistle. "Looks like we are pretty deep - maybe if you guys pray hard enough, your Force will send us a turbolift?"

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25

"Thanks." Dax says as Six tosses him the keys. Claiming one of the hip holsters and a pulse wave pistol Dax makes ready to lift the human he and Desh knocked out. "You can carry you friend over there, lead on please." he says to the twilek.

Looking up at Desh's question he closes his eyes and reaches out with the force, sending his thoughts down the corridor.

UTF; SS 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

I didn't mention the human or his stuff because there's really nothing left salvagable there.
The exact stats of the repeater I'll detail tonight. Its roughly the weight of two pulse-wave repeaters plus 2kg.

Mechanics DC12 or Desh:

The floor is smooth, out in the shaft area the decks are pierced steel and pretty flat. You can get a flat piece of pod or access panel to put an unconcious figure to drag.

Knowledge(Technology)DC15:

Now that you get a closer look, you see that despite the very high technology level here in the chamber, the pods themselves are stamped steel; constructed to be mass produced as quickly and cheaply as possible.

Dax:

The roar of the Force flowing through you interferes with your perceptions. You can't tell anything.

Six:

You spot what is probably a turbolift in the central shaft.

okay, for the time being, i'll use twice the weight of the pulse wave pistol added to the weight of the power generator… which is 17 kg total. But since that's under what you cited earlier, i'll go with the 50 lbs number for both - which is 22.5 kg total.

An idea occurs to Desh and he walks over to the nearest empty pod. He raises the mish-mash repeater and begins blasting one of the panels along a specific line. With a final kick a large sheet of metal falls away, which he drags over to the wookie, then rolls the wookie onto it. "Should make it easier to get this guy outta here. Hey, Six, if you think you can put this repeater to better use, you're welcome to it… kinda heavy, though."

You'll be more accurate/deadly with it, feel free to claim it if you want to.

The Twi'lek shakes, clearly afraid.
"No. No, no, no, nononono. I don't wanna go out there man. There's someone; some-THING down here! Been pickin' us off one by one..."

Jerrn rifles through the gang's belongings, and sighs when he doesn't find his familiar lightsaber. Instead he takes the tool kit and pulls out the power prybar. He also takes all the short range comlinks and sets them to the same frequency. He keeps one and offers the rest to the group, motley as they are.

"Well, this ain't mah preferred weapon, but it's better than that blasted blaster."

Well, you're DEFINITELY going out there now, Twilek… and you're going first.

"What kind of thing, Skate?" Desh says as he moves back to the door, the wookie sled in tow.

"Farmboy, this repeater may be more to your liking, if Six doesn't claim it." He grins a wide grin, "It's quite a bit more gun that that blaster. The good thing is, though, that you rarely have to actually be able to hit… well, the broad side of a barn. Just get anywhere near the target and the repeater does the work." He points to the hole-ridden corpse of the human he blew apart earlier as evidence.

Jerrn, the repeater may be best for you. Yah, you'd take a -5 for untrained, and a -5 for autofire (-2 if bracing), but it' an area attack, so 1/2 damage even on a miss. Let me know if you want it. I just want everyone able to contribute.

Jerrn eyes the weapon suspiciously. "Ah suppose, but Ah'm more the get in there and hit 'em type myself. Never was no good with bullseyin' womp rats. Always used to jes' land mah speeder on them. Made a pleasant enough poppin' sound and if you mash 'em flat, they're easier to grill."

Game Closed

Six tosses Jerrn the toolkit from the utility belt, and heads for the room's other door. "Let me check the northeast hatch, before we head out - I think I saw a turbolift in that shaft." He jerks a thumb at the open door as he moves to open the opposite portal.

What is that outrim dustfarmer saying? It almost sounds like Basic - well, every other word...

"Sleds." Dax suddenly mutters and drops the human uncerimoniosly bak on the floor. "Give me the power prybar please." he says to Jerrn. Taking it he heads to the nearest pod and works loose a metal sheet wich he places both humans on before fastening a length of wire to it. "Want to place the wookie with them? We can drag them between us, drop them in a hurry if thers trouble." he says to Desh.

Double pulse-wave repeater-- 4000cr, 4d8 damage, Autofire only, 20kg, Type: Energy, Military availability.

The back hatchway leads into another walkway ring, lined with pods as well. There must be millions!

OK, what's the plan to head to the turbolift?

Stats noted on Desh's profile page. Thx. Is that weight give just for the repeater itself? Or is it the combined weight of the repeater and the generator pack?

Desh lifts his own impromptu sled on which the wookie already lies. "Way ahead of ya, Dax, but thanks." He looks to Six and Jerrn, "Will one of you help Dax pull that sled?"

Finally he begins moving towards the door, repeater at the ready, wookie dragging behind, "Let's roll out. Twilek, you're coming with me up front."

Desh will lead out with the Twilek next to him. If he's not willing, Desh will persuade him to. :)

As you step outside the hatch onto the catwalk, your unwilling Twi'lek ahead of you, you suddenly hear the snap-hiss of a lighsaber igniting then clashing with another. Above you two levels you see two cloaked figures moving rapidly, coming together then springing apart. One bears a brilliant sapphire blue blade, the other a glaring red.

It’s real hard to tell from your vantage point, but you don’t recognize either one from what little you can see.

The figures clash, two experts whos skill is readily apparent even to those not versed in lightsaber combat. You see them fight until they get into a saberlock in the middle of one of the central catwalks one level above you. They turn around and around, seeking that one moment of advantage, until…

The one bearing the blue lightsaber spots you. His eyes widen in shock, and he says; ”You! But you’re…” His opponent surprises everyone at that moment by igniting a second red lightsaber, right through the first mans chest. As he stiffens in agony, the Sith finishes him with a two weapon flourish. As the man drops in several pieces to the deck, the Sith looks up and laughs out loud in triumph.

Despite the shadows of his hood, you can see his face pulled back into a permanent grin by some kind of weapon that did burn damage. His teeth were permanently exposed by the flesh around his mouth and nose being cut away.

He spots you then. His yellowed eyes gleaming with triumph, he addresses you with disdain.
”Ah more vermin still alive?” He watches your eyes with amusement. With a wave of his hand one of his sabers deactivates and the first mans saber floats up from where it fell. Igniting it with a snap-hiss, you all admire the sapphire blue blade.
”A beautiful toy is it not? Fit for a Jedi fool to die with at least.” He turns his eyes toward you, gloating. ”Do you desire it?”

Damn Sith!

Through force of will alone Desh keeps moving along the cat-walk, though he keeps his red eyes on the Sith, knowing it's more than a little likely that the worthless scum will generally attack even if unprovoked. He moves sideways, keeping his repeater leveled at the black-cowled force-user, ready to squeeze the trigger at the slightest aggressive motion.
