Mors and Thadd already ran The Confirmation. I ran Library of the Lion on another PC, but I don't mind a rerun with Thadd, if possible.
I don't know much about the others, but they sound fine.

I'm finishing up another senario though today or tommorrow and I may instead use my other character depending upon what we play, as I need certain characters to stay at certain levels during certain times to play certain modules with them.

Has anyone played Slave Ships of Absalom?
DM Beckett |
I'm working on Chronicles now.
Retty, you do not need to drop out.
Boon Roll
Leb: 1d20 ⇒ 12
Mahd: 1d20 ⇒ 1 Wins something. I'll need to check up on that.
Mandower: 1d20 ⇒ 18
Mors: 1d20 ⇒ 7
Retty: 1d20 ⇒ 19
Thaddeus: 1d20 ⇒ 16
DM: 1d20 ⇒ 10

Ok, HERE is a link to the Chronicle Sheets. I need a bit more info and then I'll report the game.
Please let me know if there are any issues.
DM Beckett |
So, does anyone want to go for the Crypt of the EverFlame?

players are going to want to ask you to dm the other 2 in the trilogy when it is finished, it is that good of a module. PS, don't get yourselves killed in that one.
meanwhile, I'm going to bring this one into another game, with a different DM.
Leb Unin |
I've played Crypt of the Everflame--with Leb in fact. I've been wanting to start another character, though, so if everybody else wants to play it, I'll make another character.
DM Beckett |
So, we can do Crypt if Eric goes with his Barbarian or Dragons Demand part 1 and I think include everyone. Crypt is 1-2 replayable while Dragon is 1-3, but not replayable. Alternatively there is also Godsmouth, which I have not run or played. Its 1-2, so replayable.
So, assuming we have 7 still, can I get everyone to post those three, first which they can play, and then in the order they would like.
If anyone can not play one of them, please remove that option from your post.
Thoril The Slayer |
This is eric I can play all three with this character and dragon with both

I'm in. No prefs.

It's up to you with a crew this size. With the loss of Mandower, we're down 1 meat-shield/heavy-hitter (though maybe Mahd could play that role alongside Mors?). And we have Thadd and Retty both taking on the scout/Trap-breaker role.
But, like I said, your call. We have a group of 7 with little-to-no real healing. Play what you want. :D
DM Beckett |
Ok, this game is reported, (which means I gave the info to the VC to report), and Chronicle Sheets are out.
I'm going to close this one down in a few days.
It sounds like Dragon's Demand is the way to go.
Mandower, I wasn't clear on if you where out completely or just switching characters. Please let me know. There is still room. If you decide you are out completely, no hard feelings, and I wish you good luck and good gaming. :)
Dragon's Demand is open to 1st - 3rd level characters, and there is also a possibility of doing part 2, but I am not sure on just how much time it will take. (I do suggest that if you can, you use one character for all 3 parts, as that will get you a 4th special Chronicle Sheet at the end.)
Something I would like, however, from everyone, is to hear your opinion on how the game went, or more specifically how I ran it, (rather than if you liked the scenario itself). I like to have this info in order to improve, but it is not mandatory. I'd like to hear what things you liked or disliked, and how I can maybe improve. It's not going to hurt my feelings, or get you kicked out or anything, but might help me to improve things over all. If you would rather not say it in front of everyone, then it's okay to PM me, though I'd rather it be here otherwise, so that others can comment as well.
I'm going to start to prep DD, and then once I get that done, set up the maps, and then set up a new Game Thread, I'll send everyone there, and then shut this one down.
If anyone is switching characters, or leveled up, please let me know so I can make adjustments to my notes.
DM Beckett |
Ok, I have a Recruitment thread open for Dragon's Demand, HERE.
Please feel free to jump over there for now and talk.
Mandower Steel Strong |
I'm going to be switching out characters if one of my games finishes up within a day or 2. I had to move Mandower so I'd have a character in time for another DM who I have played 3 games under.
As far as the scenario went and how the story was told, it was told well and DMed well.
DM Beckett |
That's perfectly fine. The new game will not be for a few days, as I still need to prep, so if you can, just let me see what you plan on brining (even if you need to update them). Likewise, feel free to jump over to the other thread I link, too.
DM Beckett |
Also, just wanted to point out that when I reported the game, it was #8 reported. When I posted the new game, it was #130.
Because we are only allowed to run 3 games at a time, that means we probably have about 20-30 minimume GM's running games. That just makes me really happy for PFS PbP gaming.
Mandower Steel Strong |
thanks, but I don't see my chronicle sheet, unless you didn't send those yet.
Mors Buolgun |
DM Beckett linked the Chronicle Sheets above in THIS POST.
Mine seemed correct. :)
Mandower Steel Strong |
okay thanks, also I don't see it in my sessions for some reason. Could be a delay due to pfs gameday circumstances of it showing up.
DM Beckett |
It I because for the Game Day Events, DM's do not directly report the games. What we do is send it to the VOs who will then themselves report it under their Event Numbers. This means a few things in particular. Because I am not directly reporting it myself, I will also not be able to later edit it. Which is why I asked so many times to make sure all the info was correct. It also means that the people that do actually enter it have a lot of games to report, so it tends to take a little time. Expect it probably Sat or Sun (US CMT), but being that it's Thanksgiving in the States, it might be delayed to the weekend after that, or even longer depending on how many games they need to report. Right now, there are a total of 8 I know of, but a lot might come rolling in, in that time, too.
So, that being said, the Chronicle Sheet is generally the thing you need for proof. If a different DM needs to, they can also speak to me for confirmation. :)

I'm still planning to send you my thoughts ... just haven't been able to given all the holiday craziness. Overall, I thought you did a good job. I just want to put some thought into anything specific, but I can't think of anything that went poorly or anything. :)
