That's ok Da GM, my dice rolls sometimes contribute to my character's death ... :-)

Tom turns white thinking that it was him that was hit or dead.

Seeing the others taking cover, Tom realizes he is not dead yet and takes cover.

The pistol is lying on the ground on the dusty open dirt surrounding the station. It is lying next to the man which blood is starting to pool around him as well. The sniper rifle clutters down after being caught and nearly hits Tom in the head. A quick estimate by Tom figures its a HK PSG1 with nearly a full clip in it. Shots continue to smash into the building as well as the outlying area around the group in a petty effort to suppress their movement. The attackers soon break their attack and head off in a another direction. Undead start to pick up the scent of blood being spilled and hobble forward.

"Come on!" Spencer says to the others, motioning from the zed to the path up into the building. "We gotta get out of here!"
With that, the young boxer darts over and begins to climb up the makeshift pathway. If neither of the others has moved toward the guns, he picks one up if it's along his way.
Climb: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Tom quickly picks up the HK PSG-1 Sniper Rifle, quickly slings it, and follows the group trying to not get shot or eaten.
Wisdom: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Climb: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Sorry for my late and quick post. I have a huge enterprise firewall consolidation and upgrade, and other minor RL drama to add to it so I may be delayed in my posting until around Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. So don't kill me yet ... LOL. And Tom fires his dice ... ;-)

The undead close around the kills tearing and devouring the victims. Inside the station there are numerous files and papers and other rooms. As quickly as the dead came they soon wander away from the kill zone leaving a gruesome spectacle for the group members of mutilated bodies and exposed insides. As the day wears on light begins to fade and hunger starts to take its toll on members. Tom is restless as the pictures of the destroyed bodies take their toll on his mental state.
Tom take a Wisdom check to sleep for each point you succeed by is an extra hour the DC is 13. Also if you guys want to search for simple things there is about 4 hours of daylight left so you guys can search for a practical item in the station or multiple just tell me how many hours you devout to doing what and ill tell you if you succeed. Also Tom may do this also. You can get the items out of the core rulebook.

Spencer decides to go looking for something to help with fighting off the things outside. Punching them probably isn't a bloody good plan... He searches for one of the tasers sometimes used by police forces to paralyze particularly troublesome individuals, figuring that it'll probably work on the creatures wandering the streets pretty similarly.
Willing to spend whatever time is needed on this; Spencer knows the importance of defending himself.
Once the search is over, Spencer stashes whatever he may have found in his bag and pulls out some of the protein meal bars. "Dinner?" he asks, holding out a bar to each of the others. "Not much, but it's something." The boxer himself finishes the bar he pulled out before all the excitement.
Manny Espinosa
Walking through the station during his search, Manny begins to wonder at the last days here. Scattered files, overturned desks and other signs of disarray weigh on him in regretting his decision to not join his own station.
I should have been there.
He stops at a detective's desk with a shattered picture frame on it's side, righting it. A young man and his family smile back at him. Kids, a wife, a dog. The perfect American dream.
Did they make it? Probably not.
He places the picture face down on the desk, unwilling to look at it any longer. The smiles seemed almost accusatory. The guilt was too much. Too much, because they were right.
Spencer Collin
Spencer pockets the duct tape, and gives a little smile at finding the food and drink. Unhealthy... but it'll do. He brings the donuts and coffee back to where the group is and sets them down. "Well, at least we've got something."

Once Tom climbs in the window, as already stated, he is horrified and starts to make sure all of the bodies in plain site are dead by smashing in their heads with his crowbar. In addition, Tom searches with Manny and Spencer looking for food, bottled water or Gatorade because the city's water is probably already contaminated with cyclosporiasis or whatever,a belt, utility belt, gun holster that fits his 92F, a PR-24 holster ring, something he can use to allow his crowbar to use the PR-24 holster ring without falling out, a backpack or similar item, working and still charged police radios, flashlight, handcuffs with key and holder, cleaner civilian clothes in lockers, police station keys, Riot Gear, more duct tape, and 9x19MM and 7.62x51MM ammunition for his 92F and PSG.
Like most men, they grew up watching cop shows and some still do into their adult life. This is where Tom is getting his items to look for list from.
During the search, wired by his paranoia and wanting to stay alive, he asks Manny, "Although probably emptied, doesn't a police station have an armory and a place where they keep commandeered weapons and etc?"

"Yeah, evidence locker for one, Armory for the other. Possibly the locker room as well. It's the first few places I'm looking."
Tom Arpat
Even if Tom asks for a lot, he knows he will probably not find it all. Well, I roll even with Spence's automatic success.
Tom starts adding his newly found accessories to his belt and pockets. However, he still keeps his eyes open for a police utility belt, baton holster ring, and something to jury rig his crowbar to be used with the baton holster ring.
Wisdom Armory Check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Tom looks in the direction of Spencer and speak lowly, "Ah, I don't know ... By the way, what's your name? If you said it earlier, sorry I missed it? This apocalypse is messing with my mind. My name is Tom. Tom is still little unsure about shaking hands so he just waves after stating his name.
Spencer Collin
"Spencer, Spencer Collin." The young man nods, understanding Tom's hesitation to shake. You hear a bit of an Irish brogue in his voice as he says the name, rather than the typical Georgia accent. "You need something for that crowbar?" he asks, pulling a roll of duct tape from his pocket. "I found this. Could probably work if you wrapped it on itself and jury-rigged it to a belt loop or something."
Tom Arpat
Tom replies in a low voice with a mixed southern and no accent response, "Nice to meet you Spencer, the duct tape will go a long way! Thank you! Once I can find a holster ring that they use for the batons, borrowing your tape would be much appreciated." ... Tom holds out his hand to shake Spencer's. Then holds his next question for later.
Da GM
Well still tom you shouldn't assume ill give the full location of the armory I could just be giving you pieces and parts with each successful check
Spencer evaluates that the armory based on the geography of the building would want the most stable place in the building : the cellar.
He also figures that the group is on the top level of the station but the elevator is broken and the way down the stairs is locked and unknown as to what is on the other side. Tom is lost completely in thought.
Are we ready to advance to the next day? Spencer showing this act of kindness to Tom. Tom's Paranoia penalties regarding Spencer are lessened. Since Spencer has already passed it by a lot Manny can take a separate check using a knowledge skill relevant for this kind of scenario. The DC for that is 13.
Tom Arpat
Let's advance onward Da GM. Did we find anything else useful?
Tom shakes head, "Yes sir, we are! So how did you end up here across the pond during the apocalypse?"
Spencer Collin
"Across the--oh, guess you heard that, eh?" Spencer chuckles. "Been here for, ah, must be a decade and a half now, and I still have that lilt when I say my own name." He shakes his head. "I've lived here almost all my life. My da was a mechanic, and mam worked at the AMC (Atlanta Medical Center, not American Movie Classics). I was here home from training--well, still training, but not in the Rockies--when all this happened." He waves around, gesturing to the world in general. "What about you? You always been running down streets getting tackled by Irish-American blokes?" Spencer grins.
Tom Arpat
Before the Sam incident
"I am surprised that you have not picked up the Southern Draw' like I have. I grew up in California and we Californians are told we don't have an accent within the US. Before this mess started, I was an architect working for one of the large firms in Atlanta. As for being tackled, that wasn't my plan at all. I am just glad you were not a crazy or a raider" ... Tom lets out an uneasy low laugh and then looks at Manny ... "Hello Officer Espinosa, my name is Tom Arpat. You probably know where the armory is and where they keep the stuff they confiscate. We probably should look for it tomorrow after some shut eye."
The Sam incident
Tom stands up quickly, slings his rifle, grabs his crow bar to place in on his belt, and pulls out his 92F with silencer watching his muzzle discipline - in a low voice:"What what was that!" ... Tom looks around.
Sorry guys, being torn up from real life. It is starting to quiet down - I hope!
Tom Arpat
Tom looks concern thinking it was crazies, "Did she just commit suicide with the sword?"
Spencer Collin
Spencer wakes up as the light hits his face, yawning and rolling to do several push-ups before rising to his feet. He stretches for a few minutes and begins a routine of exercises. About fifteen minutes pass before he even seems to realize where the group is.
"Ah... 'Morning. What do we do today?"
Tom Arpat
When does recruitment end because we probably don't want to wait too long?
