Actually, that type of mask was quite common for physicians during the time of the Black Plague and such. The long beak was used for holding different herbs and plants that smelled good, as they believed the bad smell from victims was the primary way that the plague spread. Effectively, it was a respirator of sorts. Not an exceptionally effective one, but all the same...

Two, I started a RL Curse game a few weeks ago and it's really exciting because I'm pretty sure this is my favorite adventure path. I have a CN halfling alchemist, a dwarf stonelord paladin, a N gnome master summoner, a LN human slayer and a N oread urban druid.
Very neutral. Reminds me of a certain party. But less lawful. And vertically challenged.
Sorry for the lack of posts - it's been a rough week for me. I am ready for moving forward, though.

I know it's probably water under a bridge, but sorry for dropping out at the start of the campaign Leinathan. You're still the best GM I've had on PbP, and possibly compared to a lot of real life GMs, it's sucks that my time management wasn't up to par.

I haven't heard from her, but holidays have been a thing. I myself only just really got back on today after the past 3 weeks of insanity. She also mentioned some health issues the last I heard from her (almost a month ago), which hopefully aren't anything serious. :(
I'd say DMPC them both through this bit? We can always drop them off on some other "task" when we get back to town, if they haven't popped back up within a couple of days.
I am here. I can only say that my RL job is really S+~~ at the end of the year.

I'm really sorry that I've taken such a massive break from this game. I took a 2-3 week break from PbP total, and I've just started managing to get back into it.
That being said, is anyone opposed to me auto-resolving this combat? Because of the two PCs missing, it's hampering our forward progress quite a bit (also because of my absence, of course) and I think that this group is more roleplay-oriented anyway.

My thoughts would be different is this were a plot-important fight, but it's not. It's meant to provide XP, but we've dispensed with XP in favor of fiat leveling. Absent that function, this fight is just an obstacle, and it's serving as an obstacle. Axe it.

Has anyone thought about the fact that this game's two-year anniversary is this month? I have. That's...crazy to me.
We'll probably still be at this four years from now. I see nothing wrong with this prospect.
