Hello recruits, this is the discussion thread for Come Hell & High Water, for OOC conversations regarding the game.
To start things off if you have a picture you'd like to be used for your Token in Roll20 other than what your Forum Avatar is, please post a link to the image.

AS I have yet to find a picture I like... or that is male (evidently if you are a cat ninja one must be a girl ...) I am just fine with the profile picture being chosen as well. I swear I though I had a drawing of Rrruh, but I cant find it anywhere at the moment >^.^<
On a side note, I am sure Rrruh's excitableness about our current situation will die down and quickly too.

Alright, now two more things:
1. What are your guys's Roll20 usernames so I can link up control of your tokens to each of you?
2. Are there any specific requests for the GMPC your characters will be meeting shortly?

And lastly, for now ;), what all would you like in our summary stat block that always displays?
Initiative, Attack Modifier, AC, Perception and saves will suffice.
Are our weapons the only things that were removed from us? Do we still have our packs and other carried equipment (especially in my case my familiar?).
Your familiar would still be with you in your pack, albeit a little water-logged.

Alright, if everyone could click "Join Game" while they are on the Roll20 page so they can see the map, that will let me finalize the tokens. Roll20 is finicky in that way.

No response from Calah, given their strength score, they can't complete the task by taking 10, so posting Plugg's response appropriately.

Okay, it's day 2 in-game, I've relayed the opening events in the gameplay thread, and moved everyone's tokens into what I'm guessing would be the preferred marching order. Feel free at this moment to adjust things accordingly on Roll20, and let me know if any of you have trouble moving your character token.

Your turn hadn't come up yet in initiative, so I'm counting it that you hadn't yet started casting, so you still have the spell.

Posting the daytime and nighttime activity options for future reference
Extra Daytime Options
Work Diligently: Gain a +4 bonus on any one check for a job’s daily task
Influence: Make normal checks for a job’s daily task and attempt to influence a single NPC
Sneak: Make normal checks for a job’s daily task and briefly explore one area of the ship (the PC can make a single Perception check or other skill check with no chance of detection)
Shop: Take a –2 penalty on all checks for a job’s daily task and visit the quartermaster’s store
Shirk: Take a –2 penalty on all checks for a job’s daily task and take time exploring one area of the ship. The PC can take 10 on a single Perception check or other skill check, but must make a check to avoid being discovered.
Nighttime Actions
- Sleep: Go to bed early and sleep through the night (automatically recover from fatigue)
- Gamble: Play or gamble on a game of chance or pirate entertainment.
- Entertain: Make one Perform check to entertain the crew
- Influence: Attempt to influence a single crew member
- Sneak: Take time exploring one area of the ship. The PC can take 20 on a single Perception check or other skill check, but must make a check to avoid being discovered.
- Steal: Attempt to open a locked door or locker. The PC must make a check to avoid being discovered.
- Gather Information: Make a diplomacy check to glean information on a specific topic. Possible topics include Mr. Plugg, Master Scourge, Where your weapons might be kept, Ambrose Kroop, Captain Harrigan, the current location and heading of the ship, or the auburn-haired woman.
