When I was trying to learn about PBP, I had just finished Harrowstone module in RL so I started lurking in Mug's Harrowstone thread before trying to get recruited. I've kept up with it along the way.....

I think I got very lucky with my choices of which threads to lurk and learn about, but before starting Mugs thread I really had no idea how this PBP thing was supposed to work. Once I figured out the 'co-writing' element it started making sense (at least, Im hoping Ive learned from it, Valdric is my first witch and this campaign was my first PBP).

Ive loved reading Kimberly..right up until the Rapunzel singing, then I really loved reading her. Believable, always 'in character', a successful experiment in my opinion. I was a little star-struck when she showed up here.........

Its been very easy to imagine that group of people around a table: you can see the rules-lawyer, hear the jokester, watch the metagaming..... much more like a real table than I ever expected. But for all that, a table of people that seem to get along: none of the sniping or obnoxiousness Ive seen in other threads as strangers try to play. I can imagine you all knowing each other and wanting to play together.

In fact, Danica mentioned Orange County NY which is where I live, so I plan on trying to make contact if I ever find free time for a real in-person game (my Carrion Crown is via skype).

I would say not worry about the spoilers You post actions and I do a round recap. and assume you are talking to each other about tactics during the course of the action as best you can.

So new spell research grease spell plus the benfits of holy water.

Very beneficial against undead!

(such spells might make that darn MT playable!)

i agree. lets just take a break and if you decide you want to crank it back up in say a month, then great, if not just make it inactive and we all understand

i think if the gme comes back I will pull out. I just picked up another game and have gotten super busy.

I am thinking of dropping the game for now I may re initiate at some point in the future this PbP GMing is a lot harder than I thought.
