Aliseya Belododia |

Aliseya comes up from behind Zelda, catching a glimpse of the child before it vanishes. Placing her hand upon Zelda's shoulder, she sighs. Looking at her friend, she makes a suggestion.
"Maybe I can get some clues another way."
Ali retrieves her spirit planchette from her large satchel, showing it to Zelda and the others.
With a nod, she replaces the item and adds, "But let's continue searching the grounds first."
In case I'm absent a few days: Ali will aid others in their Perception checks for a +2 (taking 10 for a result of 12). When the grounds are searched, she'll pull out her planchette and board and set them up, performing a meditative ritual before she and the others can ask questions of the child's spirit (or other spirits which may come through). See the rules for brass spirit planchette.

Zelda turns to Caracotl
"Yes a spirit or something else but not a live child. It is still lost and wants to move on. We need to approach it gently and hopefully we can get some answers. I just don't think kind scared children spirits are the only thing in this area. We need to keep our eyes open and be very careful."
Zelda walks up to the house and opens the door.

Round 1
"Zel!"
The gypsy's eyes darken as they peer into the childrens' souls. It seems the great void dwells deep within them. She calls to them in a most hideous speech, syllables which the paladin most especially feels their nightmarish depth within one's very soul... a harsh, dissonant speech that one instinctively feels simply should not be.
Use Undead Servitude ability on the two children.
And yet... a second presence simultaneously inhabits her soul. This presence seems to struggle with the first for dominance, and it is one which feels far more benevolent and compassionate to you.

With the standard Detect Evil that he had running, it takes three rounds to determine where the auras are coming from. The first round he'd only detect the presence of evil, not its strength or precise location. Since the presence of evil was kind of obvious by now, he's probably not paying too much attention to it.

Aleksander, I can't find any ruling on this on the boards, so let's treat LoH like a touch spell - you retain the LoH if you don't hit.
Round 4
Aleksander hits the wraith next to Zelda with positive energy.
Caracotl moves and then raises his holy symbol and calls down a wave of divine power - the hostile wraiths all shriek in agony.
Aliseya repeatedly commands the undead children to attack their master and for the master to detroy himself. One child obeys and moves to engage the master wraith. The master also falls under Aliseya's domination and stops his attack (my reading of the rules is that intelligent undead can't be commanded to kill themselves - let me know if I'm wrong on this.).
Govannon brutally wounds the master wraith with his enchanted blade.
Round 5
Zelda moves to the nearest hostile child and wounds it with her glowing rapier.
The wraith on Zelda strikes her with its claws and drains her life force (+1 negative level and make a DC 15 fort save or lose one con)

Round 5
Aliseya grins menacingly back at the master wraith as her powers partially triumph over the dark one and its minions. Her eyes both glow red now, all too reminiscent to Zelda and Gov of their friend's haggish crone of a mother...
Once more, she calls forth on the dark powers to dominate and bind their will to her own. Entirely ignoring Govannon, her bony outstretched hand seems more like a bony claw than her usual smooth and youthful hand, pointing accusingly at the master as she utters more dark syllables.
Use undead servitude once more, calling the children to continue their assault upon their own master, and for the master to attack the children if it will not harm itself. DC 16 Will.

Caracotl again brings down the divine wrath of Desna and burns the wraith children with positive energy.
Aliseya again commands the undead and this time brings two more of the children under her sway.
Govannon wounds one of the wraith children with his scimitar.

Zelda attacks and misses her wraith.
The two new dominated children move to attack their master (Both Govannon and Aliseya may take an AoO on their wraith.)

Govannon steps over to a new target as his existing target falls under Aliseya’s thrall. ”Śābāśa Aliseya - āpani āmādēra saba sanrakṣaṇa caluna!”
He swings, twice he hopes, in an attempt to end the creature rather than just wounding another. There are so many, and he worries what will happen when Aliseya’s thrall starts to wear off. It can’t last forever!

Aleksander Albus |

In the back of Aleksander's mind, he's really starting to worry about what's going on with Aliseya. His evil-sense is going nuts, but he's got more pressing concerns. Following Gov's lead, Aleks steps up on the other side of the ghost he's fighting. and swings at it with a hand charged with positive energy
Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 7 + 2 = 27
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
"I can't keep this up all day. We need to finish this quickly." Aleks says, trying to think how he'll fight ghosts when his energy runs out.

Aliseya Belododia |

Round 5
Skipping the AoO vs wraith, as Ali's got no magical weapons, so her physical attacks would be futile.
...
Round 6
Aliseya glares at Govannon as he speaks to her in the dark language of nightmares. She mutters something back to him before chanting a sinister-sounding prayer. Her claw-like hand, now aglow with violet power, grasps at the ghostly child not affected by her powers.
Her bony claw reaches into the child's chest. The child's ephemeral form is wracked with pain, and begins to waver out of existence...
Cast CLW on the unenchanted ghost child in melee with her:
CLW Attack vs Touch AC: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
CLW Damage: 1d8 + 5 - 3 ⇒ (7) + 5 - 3 = 9
Crit Confirm vs Touch AC: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Mods: -3 neg levels
Her dark prayer is actually a prayer to Pharasma to smite undead... the sinister quality of her prayer is entirely due to her speaking it in Aklo.

Caracotl |

Round 6
Caracotl urgently says"I can only bring Desna's presence forth a few more times."
Channel to damage undead excluding Gov and the master wraith to avoid breaking domination
Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 2) = 7 DC 13 will save once again to halve damage

Oaken Spirit, Рsychopomp |

Initiative: Zelda, Wraiths, Aleksander, Caracotl, Aliseya, Govannon
Round 6
Aleksander hits one of the ghostly children with positive energy.
Caracotl again calls forth a wave of divine power - eliciting further cries of pain from the wraiths.
Aliseya also attacks and wounds one of the wraiths with positive energy.
Govannon's combination of scimitar and magic finally destroys one of the remaining child wraithes.
Round 7
Zelda moves to a flanking position on the last hostile wraith and wounds it with her rapier.
The master and children continue to attack each other ineffectively.
The one remaining hostile wraith lunges at Aleksander and hits him, but the paladin is strangely non-phased by the negative energy attack.
Everyone may take their round 7 action. Zelda may take her round 8 action.
