Ormus Zeppeli |

"Sabrina seems to know more than she should. Even if this is a trap, we should investigate. Maybe some of us need to sneak in before the meeting starts and scout it out? Just to check on possible dangers from Sabrina or someone watching the place."
"Ormus also feels we should do what we can to help the order of the Torrent. the enemy of Ormus' enemy, makes Ormus stronger for his enemy."
I would suggest we try and gain some money again as one of the actions, every little that the rebellion can pay for itself helps.

Philipe of Triela |

I'm going to want to take 2000gp of that cash to craft me a headband of int +2 with. rough calculations have it that I won't have the highest net worth with that, so should be acceptable, though I think Turik has first dibs on wealth as he's the lowest.
Philipe takes two days of free time to craft some special gear for himself using some of the proceeds generated by the weapons sales. -2000gp => headband of int +2
" I suggest the best course of action is to find out as much as we can about the Order of the Torrent and to find out why they are now enemies of the Lord-Mayor. Striking up an alliance might not be the best course of action, but aiding the enemies of our enemies can at worst split the attention of house Thrune and at best they can be valuable agents."
As for Organisation actions, the only agreed upon action so far is to recruit, as we've taken losses and can rank up higher now.
Recruit supporters: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28 Success! This costs 50gp
number of supporters: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (4, 2) + 4 = 10
I'd say next actions should be upgrade teams and/or gather information, earning gold is not so important with the coffers brimming with gold currently

I think Turik has first dibs on wealth as he's the lowest.
Nah, Turik's (soft) wealth-limit is 1000gp - that will primarily be filled with consumables. Once Turik has a couple more levels he can look into some item options. (Also that means we can make Tessara more sneaky with the cloak of elvenkind; we have a pretty decent group-sneak then.)
In terms of rebel actions: getting money is not so important, and we should use a level 3 team for that to get good multiplier actions on it. I vote to get as many additional teams as possible for our current rebel level; and upgrade all teams to maximum as soon as possible. The additional action-options that we expose make a massive difference down the line.
Turik pats the cloak he's been using down and folds it neatly before handing it in to the rebel "armory". His new vision, his guiding thoughts, are centered on Irori. The archivists' shell of a secret hideout struck a cord with Turik; even more so with the strange knowledge elemental that they met. Previously Turik had sought to scratch the itch in his soul for perfection through the monasteries of the dark prince - the immediate solution here in Kintargo - but seeing the meticulous and elaborate labors of Irori's flock in action has swayed Turik to rid himself of his desires for cheap and quick results.
Turik now embraces Irori's teachings fully; and has taken a vow of poverty as a token of his reverence toward Irori.

"Okay, I need you guys to pound boots to the ground and find out any dealings we can around Setrona Sabina and the Order of the Torrent. Clearly they have been a thorn in Thrune's side without us becoming aware of them. That is the kind of ally that we need."
Team, gather information, bonus?: 1d20 ⇒ 19

"Okay, I need you guys to pound boots to the ground and find out any dealings we can around Setrona Sabina and the Order of the Torrent. Clearly they have been a thorn in Thrune's side without us becoming aware of them. That is the kind of ally that we need."
[dice=Team, gather information, bonus?]1d20
Number of variables to consider in that bonus. Would appreciate if future rolls account for all of that (it's in the player's guide). I am making the following assumptions:
That gives a total bonus of Secrecy + Manager Bonus + Team Rank + Strategist = 8 + 4 + 2 + 2 = 16. That gives you a total of 35.
"It's quite a story," Morgar begins. "Kintargo's first Thrune-appointed Lord-Mayor was a particularly odious sycophant named Nemnen Sarini. Not unlike our current Lord-Mayor: crushing taxes, ridiculous laws, and excrutiations. The original Silver Ravens took it upon themselves to put the mayor in his place. They kidnapped the mayor's son, planning to use him as a hostage to force the mayor into complying with their demands. The plan failed, instead humanising the lord-mayor and giving him the narrative to turn public opinion."
"The situation escalated until one Order of the Scourge Hellknight, Reya Naulvaneti, intervened. She single-handedly tracked down the kidnappers and defeated their leader in a public battle at the Salt Gate. After returning the lord-mayor's child, her commanders were so impressed they mandated that she start a new order in Kintargo, dedicated to the recovery of abductees and missing persons. And thus was founded the Order of the Torrent."
"Octavio Sabinus is the Order's fourth lictor. One of the two last scions of a minor noble family; his family's decline mirrors the decline in the Order's membership under Sabinus and his predecessor (now at a historic low of 23). The lictor's only surviving relative is Setrona Sabinus, owner of the Tooth and Nail. The two don't get a long very well—the lictor does not appreciate his cousin's rebellious nature."
"Best as we can tell, the Lictor submitted to the new lord-mayor. But when the Rack moved in, Sabinus made sure to send most of the Torrent out on missions far beyond Kintargo's borders. Smart man, must have seen the proclamation coming."
"My crew wasn't able to find out where you could find the lictor. But, we did hear about some Torrent hellknights that did not manage to leave the city in time. Thrune's holding them somewhere. My guess would be the castle or the Holding House."

Right, if I understood correctly, the last action's reserved for upgrading a team. We can determine which team at the table. To move things along, it's now event time:
Event? 1d100 ⇒ 17
Event triggers. 1d100 + 20 ⇒ (31) + 20 = 51
Roll twice event triggers. 1d100 + 20 ⇒ (63) + 20 = 83 = low morale
Roll twice event triggers. 1d100 + 20 ⇒ (11) + 20 = 31 = market place boom
Despite recent victories, morale in the Wasp's Nest has clearly reached a low point. The discovery of the Victocoras has unsettled the group, especially Rexus (usually the most optimistic member of the rebellion), as individuals begin to realise the costs of waging a war against the Prince of Darkness.
For 1 week, all Loyalty checks take a -4 penalty. A PC may attempt a DC 20 Perform check (or similar skill) to entertain and/or encourage the rebellion. A successful check reduces the penalty to -2.
The Fushi sisters bring news (perhaps discovered during their week of training) that the Scourge of Belial, a Chelish navy commanded by pirate-hunter Captain Cassius Sargaeta, returned to Kintargo with a cargo hold filled with confiscated treasures. Some of those treasures, after undergoing processing, have found their way on to the open market.
I updated the specific item availability sheet.

"I received a message from Zachrin. He plans to denounce Tassara's actions (last week's excrutiations and her subsequent escape from Thrune's justice) at this year's Seven Veils Celebrations. He hasn't said that he intends to excommunicate us, but he might as well do it. He has asked that Tassara and I keep our distance "lest we endanger the good work done by the church". I used to admire the man, but he has now revealed his true nature—that of a coward. Tassara probably saved an innocent armiger's life last week. She deserves to be applauded! Not kicked out of the church!"

Rumours overheard in the coffee house:
"A friend of my cousin swears she saw a blue dragon flying in circles above the Cathedral of Asmodeus last night while the bells rang. No one else saw it, but I still believe her! Maybe Rizovair didn’t get killed during the civil war after all?"
"The Lord-Mayor refuses to acknowledge the Silver Ravens, even after last week's *excruciating* embarrassment. Yet, the public doghousing of convicted criminals is set to continue this week."
---
Doghousing victims: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Kintargo population drops to 11,888.
New supporters, joining as a means to protest the ongoing doghousing: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 2) = 9
Support attrition: Loyalty 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22; 1d6 ⇒ 2
New supporter total: 47
Rebellion increases in rank to rank 6!
The rebellion receives several generous, but anonymous donations, totaling to 3,000 gp (750 per PC). Many citizens seem encouraged by the rebellion's willingness to stand up against injustice, no matter the odds.
Thanks to Rexus, Notoriety drops by 1 to a total of 17
Notoriety != Maximum
Treasury >= Minimum
We used two rebellion actions in game last night (Crow rescued the captured PCs (strategist action) and the Fushi sisters gathered information about the Holding House). You have two actions left. Octavio did not return to Kintargo with you (choosing to stay hidden at the shrine for the moment). He did send his mother's mithral shortsword with you. It should be enough to convince the armigers that he is working with you (he wouldn't tell just anybody that the sword belonged to his mother).

"I, for one, understand Zachrin's motivation. Irrespective of how he personally feels on Tessara's actions, if he - and by extension the church of Sheylin - publicly condone and encourage her actions the church will quickly find its way to the banned list. Once that happens there will be very few public groups that can still perform good in this city. In essence Tessara's small act of heroism then creates more suffering and deaths than if she had not acted at all." Turik muses over a glass of unflavored rain water. "Acting for the greater good is an important task for the head of the church. It is that wisdom that sets him apart from aspiring clerics."

Ormus Zeppeli |

Ormus wants to buy a potion of cure serious wounds (750gp). Just so he can keep himself not only up, but in fighting form. He had a potion he could have drank... but with the amount of damage they were dishing out... it might have killed.
"Ormus suggests we get a wand of cure light wounds for the leaders. To help with healing our troops up after fights."
I see we have a spare cloak of resistance +1, Ormus would like to use that for now.

Ormus Zeppeli |

"Ormus suggests we look at the temple of Abadar should we require clerical services outside of our own ranks. Irori is on good terms with Abadar.
I think we should go say hi to the main cleric of Abadar and try and get Ormus a level 3 potion made. Possibly also wands of clw?

Tessara Neji |
Tessara spends 50gp, on fancy paper, and inks to send letters to Octavio. Another 10 gp for some different colour strips of ribbon. And 80gp, for another fancy outfit in a shade of blue to match the armour that Octavio wears.
The rest of the money is being saved for visiting businesses in town, and picking up some cleric scrolls. That leaves her with 610gp.
She spends her evenings writing Octavio amorous letters. She uses a raven to deliver him one each evening.

"My sisters and I discovered a tailor in the Redroof district—The Devil's Threads. Zea recommended the owner, a Mister Haace, to us while she helped us expand our network through the Tiefling ghetto. He's got a good eye and managed to put together a new outfit for Maggie in half the time and half the price we'd expect to pay back in Riddleport. Secret pockets included!" Korrva Fushi adds to the conversation. "Not a bad idea getting some good, rich people clothing, Tessara, especially if you ever want to consider approaching the noble families for assistance. I'm sure Philipe can forge a few more licenses, using your legitimate one as a base. You've got the supplies for it now."
You can auto-purchase clothing, if you like. Or you can pay Mr Haace a visit at the table tomorrow.

"Does it make sense to deepen the rebel treasury by forging licences for other people?" Turik wonders aloud, "That would certainly make the town a bit brighter again. Or perhaps we should see about organizing some sort of festivities. Either they work out and people feel a bit better, or Thrune ruins it and make themselves more despised in the process."

Tessara Neji |
Tessara holds a meeting of all the rebellion members under the guise of festival celebrations at the Tooth&Nail.
As you all know we have suffered a grave lost. Three of the founders are gone, two dead - Ormus and Turik, and Rexus is missing. Another leader, Philipe has also died.
But we must not let their deaths be in vain. We must takes this moment to strengthen ourselves for the task ahead. We must remember that this is about more than individuals, this is about our city.
And as such, there'll be some changes around here.
The first order of business is to find Rexus.
Once that is done, we will remind the people of our city, why we are standing against Thrune.
Our task is to show them, that what Thrune does not do for them, we will. As such, we will find The Slasher, the missing children and a way to stop the excruciations.
We must be the good that the city needs. We will not cause chaos, we will do this in an orderly way, that preserves the city, and its people.
If this is not the way you wish to help the city, feel free to leave.
If you are interested in a leadership position, introduce yourself to your comrades.
Tessara takes a seat next to Octavio.
Am looking at rebuilding to be a paladin of Shelyn instead. Also considering no more diplomacy, just big intimidate. She's also continuing her love-love, there must be something beautiful to come out of the trauma.

Vaelic Elmsdown |

There is a murmur of agreement but also a jitter of fear among the assembled. Who can take up the mantle with so many of the leaders dead or gone?
A brash loud voice breaks into the room, "Turik?! TURIK?! Where is my little brother?! WHAT HAPPENED?" A powerful looking man stands before them, he looks vaguely like Turik - though with battle scars and a few more years on him that make him look more the man than the boy.
Meet Vaelic. Unlike my initial plans, Vaelic didn't turn out sensei-esque. Instead he's a combat brute and controller. He's got plenty of maneuver tricks and a lot of ways to capitalize - including several weapons. He is also reasonably good at bluffing.
For combat purposes it is important to know that he uses the maneuver flurry insight (similar in effect to the maneuver master archetype); and the storm spirit insight (which grants him an additional attack if his flurry attacks are successful - which includes successful maneuvers). Currently he wields a butterfly sword (technically a pair) and a jutte.

Vaelic Elmsdown |

Vaelic's tears begin to flow freely as Tessara details Turik's final moments. Finally he responds still sickened with grief but with a need to share, "He was a genius, you know. Turik was. They didn't see it at the monastery. I was always good at that. Hitting. But Turik's body wasn't made that way. He invented new forms of fighting, just to keep up with what they wanted from us. In the end they bullied him out. They didn't understand. I... I didn't find him in time; the night of ashes and then he was gone. Took me so long, far too long, to track him down. And now this."
